Abstract

In testing the water turbine installation should be able to test various types of water turbines and their characteristics. Known models such as the type of turbine, turbine pelton, francis, propeller / kaplan, and cross flow. pelton turbine is a turbine that has the characteristics of high head and a small discharge, whereas francis turbine for medium and discharge head being, as well as a turbine propeller / kaplan for low head dann large discharge. The test installation shall be able to accommodate the needs of characteristics (needs) of each turbine. Besides the problems of installation testing is also required measuring tools to measure / determine the magnitude of the parameter-parmeter time of testing, such as the flow of water entering the turbine, a large head of the turbine, the greater the power of the turbine, and the amount of rotation of the turbine when pengujian.Semua case must be thought out and designed to meet the requirements and testing purposes so that the results meet the desired accuracy.

Abstract

Reliable power generation can not be separated from the reliability of the power plant system integration. At the power plant, in particular all the power plant system reliability must be maintained so that no damage is fatal. Especially the instrument air system which is driving tools instrumentation. At indramayu power plant with an installed capacity of 3 x 330 MW nearly all settings instrumentation equipment sourced from compressed instrument air. This system is derived from the rotary screw compressor manifold floaded oil. In the instrument air system contained additional equipment to maintain the quality of the air produced is water dryer. But the fact of compressed instrument air quality is not good and still below the standards of ANSI / ISA-S7.0.01-1996. The output pressure of the compressed air system is also less. Normal operating pressure is 0.75 - 0.8 Mpa, but in actual field conditions of water stress on the receiver tank just 0:57 -0.64 MPa. This happens because of the existing compressor 5 only 3 that stand by. The performance of the compressor that is running downhill. It can be seen from the resulting pressure dropped from 0.85 MPa to 0.76 MPa. Based on these problems required the study and modification of compressed instrument air supply to find the best solution.

Abstract

Analysis of the influence of alloying elements on the composition of the appointment in the womb does not spread evenly on the steel samples of laterite, this is possible because the steel sample ketebalanpadadaerah laterite. At the micro structure of steel material hasilnyaadalahdaerah laterite classified as low, medium, high and this is caused because the carbon content in the area of ​​steel material laterite percent lower alloying element content. Results microscopy analysis on steel samples of laterite by viewing the crystal grains with pembesaranmasing each 50 μm and 30 μm, showed the homogeneity of grains spread evenly. Basically the results of the domestic industry has been quite satisfactory in the quality control process pembuatannya.Namun seen in the test object lateritbentuk steel microstructure in the steel material lateritkurang evenly. In the test of the strength of the metal material has an advantage in the Brinell hardness test.
