Abstract

Pressure Vessel (Pressure Vessel) serves as a holding tank for pressurized fluid and the tank usually play an important role in industrial companies. In the design of Pressure Vessel in addition to perform calculations and manufacturing processes, also conducted a test called Hydrostatic Test. Hydrostatic testing is one of the provisions of the standard used is ASME Section VIII Division 1 Edition 2010, aims to find leaks in Pressure Vessel. Hydrostatic Test Pressure on process is higher than the operating pressure, therefore there will be a large voltage to the material. In this thesis the author will analyze the magnitude of the voltage comparison between the yield stress material with a maximum voltage that occurs when the Hydrostatic Test.

Abstract

The steam turbine generator is the main equipment working at high temperature and pressure so it is very important to do regular maintenance to guarantee keandalannya.Pemliharaan is a simple routine inspection, inspection mean and serious inspection. Serious when turbine maintenance inspection (demolition total) there tubin demolition work and the valve casing turbine in penangananya requires a special instrument called boltheater. The tool is a tool for the disassembly bolt turbine casing and turbine valve with the principle of heating the bolt, causing expansion and further used for disassembling the bolt. Mertode previous boltheater operation is manually which has several shortcomings kekurangan. So to avoid the need for a remote control and one of them is a remote control system based on SMS controller. Automatic control has the advantage of efficient use of personnel which impact on the efficiency of maintenance costs, speed up the process of work (time efficiency) and reduce the risk of workplace accidents during the process of disassembly turbine casing and turbine valve. The existence of the efficiency of the time when the overhaul will increase the chance of generating units operate. Opportunity for all operating units of the plant affects the value of EAF (Equivalent Availability Factor). This is a measure of the success of a plant in the supply and sell electricity.

Abstract

In the world of power generation are intimately associated with the boiler and HRSG (heat recovery steam generator), the equipment is functioning as modifiers of water into steam that drives the turbine so that it can turn a generator and produce electricity. HRSG section are instrumental in changing the water into steam is the drum, the drum has a high pressure and temperature so that the equipment must always be inspected every overhaul. Inspection, among others pengkuran drum wall thickness on using Ultrasonic Thickness Testing, this inspection aims to determine the condition of the drum. From the results of these inspections at some point find there is some corrosion on the walls. Then calculated the minimum thickness of the drums and the rest of his life estimates using Standard ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
