Abstract

PLN is the only company in Indonesia that serves and supplies electricity which is a necessity for many people. Various PLN’s customer needs electricity to do all of their activities. However ifthere is an interference in the electricity distribution, then all of the activities will stop. That results the decrease of PLN’s quality of service and must be increased by handling all of the interference as quickly as possible. One of the tools to solve electricity interference quickly and accurately is by developing an expert system. In this research, an expert system was developed to help identifyingelectricity interference quickly and accurately from customer’s reports. Case based reasoning is the method that is used in developing the expert system in this research and backward chaining is the inference machine. Based on the results of the verification and validation of PLN’s expert, interference unit operator, and field technician; showed that the system was able to identify theinterference that occurred and gave an accurate solution toward customer’s report.

Abstract

Measuring tool can be defined as a tool that can know the value of used in a unit based on the level of accuracy. Household electric current measuring devices are often used now still use analog systems are slightly complicated in terms of reading the value of the output, it's because the viewer uses a needle that points at a certain scale. Besides the current measuring device ac and dc electricity in the market generally, very rarely menggunkana microcontroller. Based on that the authors designed an ac and dc based arduino uno power meter is using the current sensor acs 712 30 amps. This tool takes the working principle of the amperemeter, ie the principle of magnetic force (lorentz style). It's just different from the multimeter that uses a probe as a current conductor medium, this tool uses the terminals as a medium of conductor current. This tool can be used to measure all household electronic appliances or offices either AC or DC current.
