Abstract

The stove is cooking tool that can generate high heat and the household items that have become a major necessity for every human being. Leaving aside the traditional stove that has been rarely used in Indonesia, there are several types of stoves based on a source of heat that is used at present, namely a gas stove (using gas), electric cooker (using current litrik) and induction cookers (using an electric current). After testing to determine the efficiency and heating costs by as much as 1liter water until it reaches its boiling temperature, showed that the induction hob (1200W) have high efficiency and better cost than gas stove that is equal (74.03% / 38.55%), (Rp152,56 / US $ 161.25). Similarly, when compared with electric stove at the same great power 600W, induction cooker efficiency and better cost anyway, namely (67.24% / 56.29%), (Rp167,93 / US $ 200.64). In terms of security, the induction cooker has a security level that is very nice and friendly to the environment when compared with a gas stove that many lead to fires and even explosions if the wrong in the procedure user and to the type of electric stoves also have a level of security as well as the induction cooker, but requires delay time to preheat so it takes a long time for the heating process. From these test results it can be said that the induction cooker is better when compared to other types of stoves.

Abstract

Transmit power, Substation electrical components have a Parent in the form of a power transformer for transforming electrical power, by changing the magnitude ofvoltage while frequency remains. One of its kind based on the voltage i.e. transformer 500/150 kV and 150/70 kV Interbus commonly referred to as Transformer (IBT).Transformer is the heart of the distribution and transmission of which is expected to operate at maximum. In order to function properly, then the transformer must be kept andcared for properly using the proper equipment and systems. As the State-owned electricity company, PT PLN (Persero) trying to supply electrical energy optimally. To maintain thequality of the electrical energy is transmitted, system security and maintenance of the electrical equipment of a much needed parent booths. If the transformer is experiencinginterference, then the distribution of electric power can be interrupted, so a transformer requires protection equipment. On the transformer often experience internal disturbancesso that the main safeguards are required i.e. differential relay useful to secure the entanglement of the transformer in case of a disruption. Rele is very selective and worksso quickly that the system can isolate the internal disorder as quickly as possible without resulting in further damage.

Abstract

Abstrak Listrik merupakan bentuk energi yang paling cocok dan tepat bagi kehidupan manusia modern seperti dewasa ini, dimana energi listrik mempunyai fungsi yang dapat memberikan suatu kebutuhan atau pelayanan daya listrik yang diperoleh oleh konsumen, dengan listrik kehidupan manusia menjadi sangat menyenangkan. Televisi, lampu penerangan, lampu lalu lintas, semua menggunakan listrik. Jadi, listrik dapat dikatakan sebagai suatu bentuk hasil teknologi yang sangat vital dalam kehidupan manusia. Dengan kegiatan ini, maka diharapkan masyarakat umum bisa dan paham tentang instalasi listrik yang aman dan penanganan, penanggulangan dari bahaya listrik yang tidak sesuai dengan standarisasi PLN. Sehingga listrik tidak serta merta menjadi kambing hitam setiap saat ada kejadian kebakaran di lingkungan masyarakat, dan sistem tegangan yang digunakan di Indonesia adalah: fasa-tunggal 220 V, dan fasa-tiga 220/380 V dengan frekuensi 50 Hz. Sistem tegangan ini sangat mempengaruhi dan berbahaya bagi keselamatan manusia. Kata kunci : kabel, tegangan, arus, instalasi, konsleting
