Abstract

Penstock of PLTA Siman had experienced several improvements such as leak repair with welding, rivet and coating replacement. Therefore, an assessment of PLTA Siman displacement is required. PLTA Siman displacement work must be reviewed comprehensively and up-to-date on operations, environmental, equipment, and risks of worker involved in replacing the penstock work. PLTA Siman is located in the last position of cascade 3 PLTA Selorejo - Mendalan - Siman with primary energy taken from Selorejo dam. From the Selorejo dam, in sequence water is used as primary energy in PLTA Selorejo, then PLTA Mendalan, and ended at PLTA Siman. The output of the PLTA Mendalan is accommodated first in the PLTA Siman pond. From the pond, water is flowed through a closed channel to the main valve, which has a primary function for isolating (via the main valve equipment) and for removing excess pressure (via surge tank equipment). From this main valve, water is flowed through a penstock before being split for 3 units of PLTA SIman generator turbine PLTA. The replacement planning of penstock PLTA Siman is done so that the implementation during the replacement work has covered all the risk that might arise so that mistakes of replacement work can be minimized. The type of joint is very influential on the result of this penstock replacement. From several type of penstock joint, Welded Lap Joint and Welded Butt Joint are the most effective and efficient for welding work of this penstock replacement. while from the topographical of the work area as well as proper material selection, it is helpful to anticipate the completion of possible friction due to contraction of temperature changes

Abstract

The imbalance between supply and demand of water needed to do assessment of water availability and needs good water for balance. Development of the region in certain areas led to increased water demand due to population growth. Watershed Development seeks to manage the relationship hydrology to optimize use of natural resources for conservation, productivity, and poverty reduction. To achieve this requires a coordinated management of the various resources in the watershed, including forests, farms, agricultural land, surface and underground water through the hydrologic processes (Kerr, 2007). Cisadane River is the largest contributor to the water source for the residents of Tangerang City and surrounding areas. With the increasing development of all aspects of life, as the impact of population growth and development in an area, it also increases the needs and demands of water services that require water allocation management. Planning for Watershed Management Cisadane divided into three parts, the first watershed upstream side based on the functions of conservation managed to maintain the environmental conditions of the watershed that is not degraded, which among other things can be indicated on the condition of vegetation cover land watersheds, water quality, the ability to store water (discharge), and rainfall. Both DAS middle part is based on the function of the utilization of river water that managed to provide benefits to the social and economic interests, which among other things can be indicated from water quantity, water quality, the ability to deliver water, and the height of the ground water level, as well as related to the maintenance of water infrastructure such as management of rivers, reservoirs and lakes. Abstract

Perubahan iklim yang terjadi saat ini sebagai dampak ketidakeimbangan tingkat CO2 di atmosfer sebagai emisi dari penggunaan energi berbahan baku karbon serta prediksi kebutuhan akan energi dimasa depan, serta meningkatnya biaya pemenuhan kebutuhan listrik berbahan fosil terkait dua alasan yang melatarbelakangi Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ( PKM) ini dilakukan. PKM ini dilakukan dengan memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan sel surya sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang sangat dekat dengan kehidupan kita setiap harinya, serta latar belakang perlunya kita mempergunakan energi alternatif tersebut di harapkan mampu membuka wawasan sekaligus memberikan motivasi kepada pihak Mitra untuk melakukan pengembangan pemanfaatannya sebagai bentuk kepedulian kita terhadap masa depan bumi yang akan datang. Dengan sampainya informasi pemutakhiran serta penerapannya kepada masyarakat, hal tersebut dapat memotivasi Mitra untuk mengembangkan pemanfaatan panel surya di SMPN 462 dengan lebih baik sehingga dapat menjadi sekolah yang mandiri dalam memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik di sekolah tersebut. Optimalisasi tujuan PKM memerlukan keseriusan serta kepedulian dari berbagai lapisan elemen masyarakat seperti tim pelaksana, institusi tim pelaksana, serta pihak Mitra guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan kehidupan bermasyarakat serta turut menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup menuju Indonesia Bebas Emisi.
