Abstract

The Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is adapting to the digital changes that present both challenges and opportunities for organizations, with the aim of strengthening their community identity and solidarity. This study employs a combination of qualitative and field research methods to gain insight into how rural communities with a Nahdlatul Ulama affiliation adapt to these changes. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of rural Nahdliyin communities regarding Nahdlatul Ulama's digital transformation. Through its digital transformation strategy, Nahdlatul Ulama seeks to integrate data, digitize services, and strengthen its digital ecosystem. The results of this study suggest that there are different social perceptions among rural communities. Some view digital transformation positively as a means to increase access to information and expand the reach of Nahdlatul Ulama programs. On the other hand, they express concerns about the loss of traditional values that have been characteristic of Nahdlatul Ulama.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi masyarakat Nahdliyin pedesaan mengenai transformasi digital Nahdlatul Ulama. Melalui strategi transformasi digitalnya, Nahdlatul Ulama berupaya untuk mengintegrasikan data, mendigitalkan layanan, dan memperkuat ekosistem digitalnya. Temuan dalam penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa terdapat beragam persepsi sosial di antara masyarakat desa. Beberapa memandang transformasi digital secara positif sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan akses informasi dan memperluas jangkauan program-program Nahdlatul Ulama. Sementara di sisi lain mengungkapkan kekhawatiran tentang hilangnya nilai-nilai tradisional yang sudah menjadi ciri Nahdlatul Ulama. Oleh karenanya penelitian ini menyoroti perlunya organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama untuk secara aktif menyebarluaskan gagasan tentang transformasi digitalnya guna menjembatani kesenjangan antara akar tradisionalis dan lanskap digital yang berubah-ubah dengan cepat terlebih pada masyarakat desa.

Abstract

This research aims to look at offers in inter-religious dialogue in Indonesia regarding the polemic of religious fanaticism. This research explains the Islamic thought approach of Nurcholis Madjid and Amin Abdullah using analytical descriptive methods which include qualitative research with data in the form of literature and journals that are still related to the theme. The data collection technique is a literature study that relies on the books Islam, Modernity and Indonesianness from Nurcholis Madjid and Religious Studies: Normativity or Historicity from Amin Abdullah and related journals. The findings achieved from this research are in the form of an understanding of the ideas of historicity, normativity and religious inclusivism which explains that all three have the same approach in creating peace in Indonesia. historicity with historical, anthropological and sociological approaches, both of which must be united to be able to see the diversity of Indonesian society. Nurcholis Madjid with the idea of inclusivism, he criticizes religious traditions which tend to be formalistic textualists, thus changing them with a normative-historical approach and a classical-modern approach to be contextualized in the diversity of Indonesia's pluralistic society. It can be seen that these two Islamic thinkers have contributed ideas that can be actualized for the continuation of peace between religious communities in Indonesia. Therefore, both of them have approaches that can be used in dialogue between religious communities as an offer to polemics about religious fanaticism in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the content of Islamic media portals regarding the issue of faith in the online media Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id. The author analyzes how Islamic media framing looks at the issue of faith, which is often discussed in everyday life, on the media portals Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id. The author also analyzes the development of Islamic media in Indonesia by referring to the history of Islamic media in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative study in which the author uses Robert Entman's framing analysis method to analyze Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id media portals from an Islamic perspective in their media articles. This study concludes that Islamic media portals have experienced significant development, especially the emergence of new media related to the organizations they support with their media base on the Internet after the new order, framing analysis obtained the conclusion that between Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id in the discussion of Islam, it can be seen that both contribute to each other, but judging from the content of the posts that Muslim.or.id more often contains updates in its media content compared to Nu.or.id media, which looks more waiting for the movement of conservative media religious narrative discourse.
