Abstract

The main objective of this study is to examine, with a comprehensive systematic approach and framework for the analysis of the economic feasibility and methodology of the application of bamboo forest biomass technology as renewable energy for the environment and sustainable regional development.This study was conducted in the subdistricts of South Siberut and Central Siberut, Mentawai Islands district, West Sumatra, as an example for the economic development of underdeveloped areas that have bamboo forests suitable for renewable energy materials.The result is a sustainanle supply chain of renewable energy development that addresses technical complexity, economic scale, capital costs, and renewable energy funding challenges, for small to medium-sized projects and not connected to off-grid networks

Abstract

Somethinc is a new beauty brand that has a great demand by consumers. Many researchers are interested to researched on Somethinc with different research focuses. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived quality, social media influencers, and the role of mediating brand image on Something's brand loyalty and to analyze the factors that influence brand loyalty by consumers to Something's products. This study used SEM-PLS analysis on 222 respondents aged 15-64 years and had bought and used Somethinc products. The results showed that perceived quality (PQ) had a positive and significant effect on brand image (BI) and brand loyalty (BL). Brand image (BI) also has a positive influence on brand loyalty (BL). Brand image (BI) can also be a mediator between perceived quality (PQ) and brand loyalty (BL). In this study, brand image (BI) is not a mediator between social media influencers (SMI) and brand loyalty (BL). In this study, social media influencers (SMI) have a negative and non-significant relationship to brand image (BI) and brand loyalty (BL). Therefore, to increase Something's brand loyalty (BL), Somethinc can improve perceived quality (PQ) and brand image (BI). Perceived quality can be increased by develop the product, made some product innovations that fit consumer needs, and provide a great service for consumers. Brand image of Somethinc can be increased by optimizing the use of social media and consistently make content that can strengthen a good brand image. Abstract

Policy Brief ini merupakan salah satu output dari penelitian dasar hibah Kementerian Riset danTeknologi Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemenristekdikti) tahun ke-3. Naskah ini merumuskan strategi pengembangan pasar pangan organik berbasis perilaku konsumen dan kepuasan pelanggan. Policy brief ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan oleh pemangku kepentingan untuk mendukung ketahanan dan keamanan pangan. Policy brief juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan market share pangan organik di Indonesia serta menyukseskan program 1000 desa organik yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah.

Abstract

Coffee becomes one of the important commodities both in terms of consumption and in terms of production. Therefore, the interaction in marketing with the system and its activities should be able to get closer between consumers to products and brand name of the company offered. Nowdays, urban society at this time experiencing lifestyle changes. One of the manifestations of modern lifestyle today is the habit of certain community groups who like to consume coffee in coffee shops. Base on that, the purpose of this research is to identify the characteristics of MAXX Coffee consumer, analyze the influence of brand equity, lifestyle, and marketing mix of MAXX Coffee to consumer purchase decision, and to formulate alternative marketing strategy based on factors influencing marketing mix and brand equity MAXX Coffee. This research using Structural equation Modeling (SEM) with 271 respondent based on convenience sampling method during the reseach time. Based on the results of the research, in order to create strong brand equity, the management of MAXX Coffee Bogor can invest through the improvement of several marketing mix indicators, namely price, people, process, and physical. In the context of MAXX Coffee lifestyle focus to follow the perception of today's consumer lifestyle that wants to improve the prestige and image in the environment around consumers.

Abstract

Excessive consumption of fast food and soft drink causes various negative impacts on health. This study aims to analyze the knowledge and intention toward fast food and soft drinks consumption on adolescents. The design used in this study was pre-experimental in one of senior high schools in Bogor Regency. Samples of this study 96 students and chosen by convinience. Samples are divided into three groups, which are warning label exposure group, the video exposure group, and the control group. Research results show that warning label and video are able to increase knowledge of fast food and soft drinks. In addition, the exposure of the warning label and video also reduced the intention of the sample in consuming fast food and soft drinks. The results of one way ANOVA test showed that the knowledge and intention of the control group differed significantly with the experimental group both with the exposure of warning labels and video. Further testing results of the Post Hoc Test showed that warning label exposure further enhance knowledge than video exposure and without exposure. Warning labels and video effectively reduce the intention to consume fast food and soft drinks.
