Furthermore, the results obtained were analyzed using a partial t test and simple linear regression. The contribution made by students in the implementation of this teaching campus program is the involvement of citizens (students), it can be known through the summary model of linear regression test results, we can know that the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is equal to 0.708 of the results can be obtained coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.501 means that in the implementation of campus teaching program contributed 50.1% in increasing student civic engagement. While 49.9% civic engagement can be influenced by other variables that are not studied. Then the hypothesis test results show that the value of tcount = 9.015 ttable 1.989, then it can be concluded that H1 or the first hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is an influence between the implementation of campus teaching programs (X) to increase student civic engagement (Y).

Abstract

Amicus Curiae (friend of the court) refers to a third party, not directly involved in litigation, who voluntarily offers legal opinions or insights relevant to a case in order to assist the court in its deliberations. This practice has long been recognized and systematically regulated in common law jurisdictions, particularly in the United States. In contrast, Indonesia—operating under a civil law system—has begun to incorporate the use of Amicus Curiae in several criminal cases, despite the absence of formal and standardized procedural rules. This legal study aims to analyze the application of Amicus Curiae in the Indonesian context and to compare its implementation in the criminal justice systems of Indonesia and the United States. Employing a normative and comparative juridical approach, this research is grounded in normative legal methodology and relies primarily on secondary data obtained through comprehensive literature review and presented systematically. The study identifies two key findings: first, although Indonesia lacks explicit legal provisions regulating Amicus Curiae, its application has been permitted in certain criminal cases based on the authority granted under Article 5(1) of Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power; second, in contrast to the United States, Indonesia does not possess a codified framework that clearly governs the submission and evaluation of Amicus Curiae briefs. In light of these findings, this paper argues for the urgent need to develop standardized legal guidelines for Amicus Curiae in Indonesia, in order to ensure consistency, transparency, and legal certainty within the criminal justice process. Keywords: Amicus Curiae; Civil Law System; Common Law System.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahfidz Qur'an program at Pondok Pesantren Darut Tauhid Tanjungsari-Krejengan and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of its success. The main issues examined include how the program is carried out and the factors that influence its effectiveness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the program is implemented systematically through structured memorization methods, and regular evaluations. Supporting factors include students' internal motivation, teacher competence, and a conducive environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time, students' busy schedules, and a lack of understanding of proper articulation (makharijul huruf) and tajweed. These findings are expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of Tahfidz programs in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the Talking Stick learning model in the Economics subject and its role in fostering student character in Grade XI at MA Miftahul Ulum Suren. The research stems from the growing need to integrate character education into classroom learning in a meaningful and contextual manner. Using a qualitative approach and a case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Talking Stick model encourages active student participation and cultivates key character traits such as responsibility, honesty, self-confidence, cooperation, and discipline. Classroom dynamics showed significant behavioral shifts, especially in students’ willingness to express opinions and take turns respectfully. Supporting documents such as lesson plans, teacher journals, and photos indicate well-structured planning and consistent implementation. The study concludes that the Talking Stick model is not only effective for delivering Economics material but also instrumental in instilling social values and positive behaviors. It is particularly suitable for religious-based schools seeking to strengthen character development alongside academic learning. The study recommends that educators adopt active and participatory models to enhance both instructional quality and moral education.
