Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian dirumuskan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep ekstremisme, mendeskripsikan jenis dan bentuk ektremisme dan mendeskripsikan cara untuk mengatasi ekstremisme dalam bingkai ajaran agama Buddha. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan analisis teks dan interorestasi teks atau sering disebut hermeneutika. Sumber primer dalam penelitian ini adalah kitab suci Tripitaka, sumber sekunder dan tersier dari buku-buku referensi ilmiah, jurnal, majalah, surat kabar yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Teknik Analisa dilakukan dengan cara menelaah melalui kepustakaan, yaitu dengan membaca dan mengkaji sumber-sumber yang sesuai dengan penelitian serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) konsep ekstremisme: suatu pandangan yang melampaui batas kewajaran; (2) jenis dan bentuk ekstremisme: a). ekstrem kanan/pemuasan hawa nafsu indera secara terus menerus sehingga menimbulkan kemelekatan (kamasukkhalikanuayoga); b). ekstrem kiri/keterikatan pada praktik penyiksaaan diri (Attakilamathanuyoga); (3) cara untuk mengatasi ekstremisme dalam bingkai ajaran agama Buddha: Jalan Mulia Berunsur Delapan (Ariya Atthangika Magga), bertujuan untuk menghindari maupun mengatasi ekstremisme membebaskan penderitaan bagi semua makhluk, dan mencapai kebahagiaan tertinggi (Nibbana/Nirvana). Kata kunci: Ariya Atthangika Magga, Ekstremisme, Buddha Abstract The research objectives were formulated to describe the concept of extremism, describe the types and forms of extremism and describe ways to overcome extremism within the framework of Buddhist teachings. The method used in this study is library research with a text analysis approach and text interrogation or often called hermeneutics. The primary sources in this research are the Tripitaka scriptures, secondary and tertiary sources from scientific reference books, journals, magazines, newspapers related to research. The analysis technique is carried out by reviewing through the literature, namely by reading and reviewing sources that are in accordance with the research and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) the concept of extremism: a view that goes beyond the normal limits; (2) types and forms of extremism: a). extreme right/continuous gratification of sensual desire, giving rise to clinging (kaenterkhalikanuayoga); b). extreme left/attachment to the practice of self-torment (Attakilamathanuyoga); (3) the way to overcome extremism within the framework of Buddhist teachings: the Noble Eightfold Path (Ariya Atthangika Magga), aims to overcome extremism, relieve suffering for all beings, and attain the highest happiness (Nibbana/Nirvana). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengenali gaya kepemimpinan Prabu Hayam Wuruk yang tersurat dalam kitab Nagarakretagama kemudian mendeskripsikan dari perspektif agama Buddha. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (library research). Metode pendekatan adalah analisis teks dan hermeneutika yang mengandung unsur-unsur mengungkapkan, menjelaskan dan menerjemahkan. Tempat penelitian di Perpustakaan Nasional, Perpusatakaan DPAY Yogyakarta (Grhatama Pustaka), dan Perpustakaan STABN Sriwijaya. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Juli-Desember 2021. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa hasil identifikasi gaya kepemimpinan Prabu Hayam Wuruk dari sudut pandang agama Buddha berdasarkan Cakkavati Sihanada Sutta hanya ditemukan ada 9 (Sembilan) karakter atau gaya kepemimpinan Prabu Hayam Wuruk dari sepuluh syarat pemimpin yang baik, yaitu kedermawanan (dana); moralitas (sila); pengorbanan diri (paricagga); integritas (Ajjava); baik hati dan bertanggung jawab (maddava); sederhana (tapa); tiada kemarahan/membenci (akkodha); kesabaran (khanti); dan tidak bertentangan dengan kebenaran/tidak mencari musuh (avirodha) . Dalam identisikasi ini, peneliti tidak menemukan karakter tanpa kekerasan (Avihimsa) di dalam kitab Kakawin Nagarakretagama. Peneliti justru menemukan Tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh Prabu Hayam Wuruk pada saat berburu ke hutan bersama pasukannya, yang tersurat di dalam pupuh 50 sampai 54; 5) Kejayaan Majapahit tidak lepas dari peran besar Patih Gadjah Mada, selepas Patih Gajadmada wafat, Sang Prabu bekerja lebih keras tersurat pada pupuh 73. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Hayam Wuruk, Nagarakretagama, Buddha Abstract This reaserch aims to identify and recognize Prabu Hayam Wuruk's leadership style which is written in the Nagarakretagama book and then describes it from a Buddhist perspective. This type of research is literature (library research). The approach method is text analysis and hermeneutics which contains elements of expressing, explaining and translating. The research sites are the National Library, Yogyakarta DPAY Library (Grhatama Pustaka), and Sriwijaya STABN Library. The research was conducted in July-December 2021). The results of the research and the opening that found the results of Prabu Hayam Wuruk's leadership style from the Buddhist point of view based on the Cakkavati Sihanada Sutta there were only 9 (nine) or Prabu Hayam Wuruk's leadership style of the ten requirements of a good leader, namely generosity (dana); morality (sila); self-sacrifice (paricagga); integrity (Ajjava); kind and responsible (maddava); simple (tapa); note/hating (akkodha); patience (khanti); and does not contradict the truth / finds no enemy (avirodha) . In this identification, the researcher did not find a non-violent character (Avihimsa) in the book Kakawin Nagarakretagama. Researchers found acts of violence committed by Prabu Hayam Wuruk while hunting in the forest with his troops, which are written in pupuh 50 to 54; 5) The glory of Majapahit cannot be separated from the great role of Patih Gadjah Mada, after Patih Gajadmada died, the Prabu worked harder as stated in Pupuh 73. Abstract

ABSTRAKIndonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki keberagaman sangat besar dan dari hal tersebut dapat mengondisikan dari berbagai faktor tumbuh dan berkembangnya paham yang kemudian berorientasi pada tindakan radikal. Beberapa tahun belakangan ini masih maraknya terjadinya kasus radikalisme yang membuat ketidaknyamanan dan mengganggu keharmonisan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep radikalisme menurut perspektif ajaran Buddha. Metode kajian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka  atau library research, yaitu serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengelola bahan penelitian. Analisis interpretasi data dalam kajian Tipitaka ini menggunakan teknik hermeneutika. Sejalan dengan Susanto (2016:1) yang menyatakan “dalam tradisi Yunani Kuno kata hermeneuein dipakai dalam tiga makna yaitu “to say, to explain, and to translate”. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga cara yakni: mengungkapkan, menerangkan, dan menerjemahkan nilai-nilai dalam Tipitaka. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwq dengan tingkat keberagaman yang pada pada bangsa indonesia, menjadi peluang bagi kaum atau kelompok radikal menanamkan pengaruh ekstrimisnya kepada segelintir orang yang memiliki kepentingan individu maupun kelompok dengan membenarkan segala cara. Maka kemudian dampaknya terlihat seperti aksi pengeboman, teror kepada individu maupun sekelomok orang, pembunuhan dan penganiyayaan, kelompok pemberontak yang ingin memecah belah kesatuan dan persatuan bangsa serta tanah air Indonesia maupun kejahatan lainya. Buddhadharma menyajikan jawaban atas permasalahan maupun persoalan yang berkaitan dengan radikalisme. Beberapa poin yang hendaknya dipelajari, dipahami dan dimengerti serta dipraktikkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, diantaranya yaitu: meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap pandangan benar dan pikiran sesuai Buddhadharma (jalan mulia berunsur delapan); melaksanakan Pancasila Buddhis (menjaga moralitas); membudayakan Hiri dan Ottapa dalam diri; menciptakan dan menjaga kerukunan serta persatuan; tidak berafiliasi dengan orang yang memiliki pemahaman radikal; menghindari pertengkaran; meningkatkan pemahaman dalam Wawasan Kebangsaan, Pancasila dan Semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika; saling bersinergi dengan pihak terkait dalam upaya mencegah maupun mereduksi paham radikal; memperkuat Budaya Lokal (musyawarah secara damai, tolong menolong, gotong royong, dan toleransi); mengaplikasikan Saraniyadhamma (enam faktor yang membawa keharmonisan, kerukunan, persatuan dan kesatuan)Kata kunci: Radikal, Perspektif Ajaran Buddha ABSTRACTIndonesia is a country that has a very large diversity and from this it can condition various factors for the growth and development of understanding which is then oriented towards radical action. In recent years there are still rampant incidents of radicalism that create and disrupt harmony in the life of society, nation and state. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of Radicalism from the perspective of Buddhism. The study method used is library research or library research, namely activities related to library data collection, reading and recording and managing research materials. The analysis of data interpretation in this Tipitaka study uses hermeneutic techniques. In line with Susanto (2016:1) states "In the ancient Greek tradition the word hermeneuein is used in three meanings, namely "to say, to explain, and to translate". This research was conducted in three ways, namely: expressing, explaining, and translating the values in the Tipitaka. The results in this study show that with the level of diversity in the Indonesian nation, it becomes an opportunity for radical groups or groups to sharpen their extremist influence on a handful of people who have individual or group interests by justifying all means. So then the impact is seen as bombings, terror against individuals and groups of people, murder and persecution, rebel groups who want to divide the unity and integrity of the nation and the homeland of Indonesia and other crimes. Buddhadharma provides answers to problems and issues related to radicalism. There are several points that should be studied, understood and understood and practiced in daily life, including: increasing understanding of right views and thoughts according to Buddhadharma (the noble eightfold path); Implementing Buddhist Pancasila (maintaining morality); Cultivating Hiri and Ottapa within; Creating and maintaining harmony and unity; Not affiliated with people of radical understanding; Avoid quarrels; Increase understanding in National Insight, Pancasila and the Motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika; Synergize with related parties in an effort to prevent or reduce radicalism; Strengthening Local Culture (peaceful deliberation, mutual assistance, mutual cooperation, and tolerance); Apply the Saraniyadhamma (six factors that bring harmony, concord, unity and oneness).Keywords: Radicalism, Buddhist Perspective

Abstract

The research background is based on the entrepreneur needs of Monastery young man in Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi district. The purpose of this study was to determine the views of the monastery youth on the needs of entrepreneurship, the required fields of entrepreneurship, techniques for developing entrepreneur skills and the conditions expected by monastery youth regarding entrepreneur needs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subject was the Monastery young man in Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi district, the object of research was entrepreneur needs. The research location is at the Monastery which is located in the Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi district. Data collection techniques and instruments through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the findings in the field, the results obtained are: 1) entrepreneur among Monastery young man in Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi district is very much needed because it aims to help the family economy, earn income, continue parents' businesses, gain experience and train independence and as a solution to the difficulty of getting a job; 2) the fields of entrepreneurship needed by the Monastery young man are trading in the sectors of basic necessities, culinary, electrical, electronic, pet shops and animal care services; 3) Techniques to develop entrepreneur skills for young people are to become entrepreneurs directly, learn via the internet, and be self-taught by actively helping run parents' businesses; 4) the conditions expected by Monastery young mans regarding entrepreneur needs are to expect an active role of Monastery young man organizations in planning and implementing entrepreneur skills coaching and training activities, support from Monastery and Foundation administrators, capital assistance

Abstract

The background of this research is that the Wilwatikta kingdom (better known as Majapahit) reached its peak of glory during the leadership of Sri Rajasanagara (or better known as Prabu Hayam Wuruk) accompanied by Mahapatih Gajah Mada. The purpose of this study is to identify and recognize the leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk which is written in the Nagarakretagama book.The method used in this research is library research. The approach method in this research uses the method of text analysis and text interrogation or often called hermeneutics which contains elements of expressing, explaining and translating. The object in this study as well as the primary data source is the Nagarakretagama book. Secondary and tertiary sources are obtained from studies of the Thematic Sutta Pitaka, books, journals, and writings that are relevant to the research theme. Data collection techniques in this study are collecting literature, classifying books, documents and other data, citing data, crosschecking, and grouping data. Techniques for validating data by extending time, persistence of observation and depth of reading, triangulation by utilizing sources outside the data. The data analysis technique is described by content analysis. The research was conducted at the Sriwijaya STABN library, the National Library and the Yogyakarta Regional Library (Grhatama Pustaka). The time of the research was carried out from July to December 2021.The results of the research and discussion in this study can be concluded: 1) Prabu Hayam Wuruk leadership characteristics: tolerance, integrity, democracy, wisdom, generosity, morality, and responsibility; 2) the leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk based on Kurt Lewin's theory is included in the category of democratic (Democratic Leadership Style), namely a leader who involves followers in decision making; 3) The leadership character of Prabu Hayam Wuruk based on the level of Javanese leadership style in Endraswara is included in the Main (Main) level category where the virtues of Javanese leaders will always be liked by the people.
