Abstract

Sumberjaya Village is one of the villages that have potential for capture fisheries in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. Sumberjaya village catches are small pelagic fish and large pelagic fish. The processing of fishery products in this village is only salting anchovy, therefore it is necessary to diversify fish preparations to increase the sale value of the product. This program aims to empower the community by providing assistance in fishery product development activities in Sumberjaya Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The method used is a participatory method, where the community was placed as a subject in every activity, ranging from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Abstract

Kabupaten Sukabumi is one of the regencies in West Java which is directly bordered by the Indian Ocean in the south. Simpenan District, especially Sangrawayang village has many natural attractions, one of which is Loji beach. The existence of tourism triggers a lot of garbage, especially plastic. The Coastal cleanup program is expected to be a means to provide education to surrounding communities to maintain the cleanliness of the environment, especially the coastal environment. This program consists of two programs, namely beach cleaning and waste identification. The waste identification program was carried out on July 2 and July 8, 2019, in Cibutun Hamlet. The waste identification activity was carried out in 2 replications and spread in 10 stations. The results of identification on the first and second tests show that the sequence of waste from the highest to lowest amounts are wood, plastic, fabric, rubber, glass, and metal. Abstract

The yard optimization program can have two benefits at the same time, namely increasing the economic value and the value of food security. The purpose of this activity is to socialize to the community the importance of optimizing the plot of land to increase economic value and food security on a family scale. The method used in this activity is a lecture followed by a question and answer session, in the last session there was a distribution of vegetable seeds such as tapai that can be planted in the family yard. The results of this day's activity the community, especially housewives, understood the importance of optimizing the family yard by growing it with various kinds of family needs such as vegetables and family medicinal plants. . Abstract

Tempe is a fermented soybean product commonly consumed by people in Indonesia. The presence of tempe industry is often found, especially in the village of Kuripan Kertoharjo. In addition to being a pillar of the people's economy, it also creates its own problems. Processing soybeans into tempeh will produce a byproduct in the form of tempe liquid waste which has the potential to disrupt environmental harmony. The negative impact of tempe waste can be minimized by being used as liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this program is that the community can process tempe waste into liquid organic fertilizer so that it can reduce tempe waste that is discarded and is beneficial to the community. The method used before the program is by observing the number of tempe industries that will be used as samples. Tempe waste samples were used from five different tempe industrial sites. The method used in the program is socialization with lecture techniques and simple practices using tempe waste and EM4 as compost activators. The result of this program is the program is divided into two activities, namely socialization and practice, where the socialization consists of the delivery of material related to the environment, waste, and liquid organic fertilizer. Simple practice is done by practicing how to make liquid organic fertilizer in front of the community then followed by the community. Every activity of the program runs smoothly and it is hoped that the utilization of tempe waste can be carried out continuously to prevent environmental pollution. Abstract

The Community Service program is a form of concern from institutions, especially the Bogor Agriculture Institute, for the people of Indonesia. The concentration of IPB in general is in the development of the agricultural sector especially Agribusiness for Sumedang Regency. Therefore, in 2019 one of the community service programs was carried out in the Paseh Kidul Village, which was expected to show the contribution of students in empowering local resources in increasing the potential of agriculture, the economy, animal husbandry, and existing human resources. This activity aims to optimize the economic potential, human resources, and natural resources, especially in the development of agribusiness-based Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. The products that have been produced will later be able to develop into MSMEs, so that hopes for the future can create jobs and can improve people's welfare.
