Abstract

Introduction: Asthma is an inflammatory airway disease that can affect anyone, which is characterized by shortness of breath accompanied by a wheezing sound, but it varies from individual to individual, judging by the severity and frequency of this disease. predicts that in the future there will be an increase in the prevalence of asthma if it is not immediately prevented and handled properly. Objective: The aim of health education is to increase knowledge about prevention for asthma Method: The method used in this health education is direct health education (offline) and discussion. Result: The evaluation results show that the activities have been carried out properly following the indicators and results criteria on the observation sheet instrument. The observation sheet is based on five dimensions, namely timeliness and duration, participation, knowledge, job description, and problem-solving. The evaluation sheet is filled out by independent observers. Conclusion: By the evaluation results, health education activities to increase knowledge have been successful with individuals with indicators of timeliness and duration, participation, knowledge, job descriptions, and problem-solving. In the discussion session, all participants were enthusiastic to ask questions and listen and understand what the presenters answered from what they asked. In the post-implementation evaluation session, participants answered what was asked without hesitation. Observation results showed an increase in participant's knowledge. The pre-implementation evaluation showed that 1 out of 7 people gave responses to the questions given, could answer the questions correctly, but after the heath education, participants gave the correct feedback. This shows a change in the status of knowledge before and before health education is carried out. suggestions for this activity need time management so that counseling can be carried out according to the time specified in the SAP.

Abstract

Introductions: Oxytocin massage is one of the non-pharmacological ways that can be done so that milk production increases and runs smoothly. Oxytocin massage aims to stimulate the postpartum mother's oxytocin hormone, which is carried out on the head, neck, back, and along the spine. Aims: This study aims to describe care with oxytocin massage interventions to facilitate breastfeeding in postpartum patients. Methods: The research used is a descriptive approach through the nursing care process method which consists of the first assessment carried out by observing and interviewing patients to obtain data and information for data analysis, the second is establishing diagnoses that appear to clients after the data collection process, the third is intervention or planning actions that will be carried out, the fourth is the implementation, namely the implementation of the planned actions, and finally the evaluation by documenting the nursing care process from start to finish. The intervention was carried out in the inpatient room of the Banjar City Hospital for 1 postpartum person by giving oxytocin massage. Results: From the effects of the oxytocin massage intervention there was a change in milk production, and milk expenditure became more, whereas from the anamnesis results obtained subjective data, the client said it was difficult to express milk. Conclusions: Oxytocin massage can be a nursing intervention in promoting breastfeeding in postpartum mothers who are constrained about breastfeeding, with nursing diagnoses that breastfeeding is ineffective.

Abstract

Fine motor development of a child is very important to be trained because when the fine motor development of children who are well trained will make it easier for children to carry out further developmental tasks. Usually, children will have certain motor skills at a certain age, but not every child will reach these stages at the same time. The art of origami can train children's creative abilities because of its various shapes. Playing origami can help children make their own toys, thereby creating satisfaction compared to toys that have been made or made by others. The purpose of this community service is to carry out play therapy to improve fine motor skills through origami folding activities for PAUD children at PAUD Kober, the location of this community service is in RT 07/RW 02 Sadananya Village, Sadananya District, Ciamis. This method of community service is collaborative, including writers and classroom teachers. The method chosen was to carry out play therapy on 9 students, for which we conducted education, observation, and documentation. The results of this evaluation of community service indicate that the fine motor skills of preschool children at PAUD Kober have reached indicators of success. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the origami folding activity. The conclusion of this community service is that play therapy activities with the origami paper folding method were carried out very well without any problems, the children were very enthusiastic, happy and in the end were able to fold origami paper neatly even though it was a little difficult at first.
