Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership, work environment, job satisfaction on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tabanan University; identify and analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on the job satisfaction of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tabanan University; and identify and analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on performance through job satisfaction of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tabanan University. This study uses a quantitative approach that focuses on testing hypotheses using measured data and involving all 60 lecturers who teach at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tabanan University. The data of this research are sourced from primary data and secondary data. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests with the help of SPSS for Windows version 22.0, description of research variables, classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test), model fit testing, and path analysis. The results of this study shows that leadership has a positive and significant influence on lecturer performance, work environment has a positive and significant influence on lecturer performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on lecturer performance, leadership has a positive and significant direct influence on lecturer job satisfaction, work environment has a positive and significant influence directly on the job satisfaction of lecturers, leadership indirectly has a positive and significant influence on the performance of lecturers, leadership indirectly has a positive and significant influence on the performance of lecturers through job satisfaction, and the work environment indirectly have a positive and significant influence on lecturer performance through lecturer job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment and work stress and motivation on employee performance at the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency of Karangasem Regency. The sample analysis technique uses the saturated sample method where the sample is all employees of the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency of Karangasem Regency, totaling 69 people. The analytical technique used is using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the analysis show that 1) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 2) work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 3) motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; and 4) work environment and work stress as well as motivation have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance. Suggestions in this study is that the management pays more attention to the employee's work environment and improves the management of work stress and motivation to employees to improve employee performance in achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors and which factors are the most dominant considered by consumers in buying Garnier products in the city of Denpasar. The design of this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis with SPSS analysis tool version 24. This study uses 70 respondents as research samples drawn based on purposive sampling method. The research method applied in this study is based on factor analysis with data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that only 14 independent variables can be analyzed. Of the 14 variables after the factor rotation process, there are four main components. The naming of the new factors is determined according to the variables that make up the factor. The first factor is marketing and application factors which have the highest eigenvalue of 4.688 and are able to explain the total variance of 33.487%. The second factor is the personal factor with an eigenvalue of 2,021 with a variance percentage of 14.707%. The third is a factor of excellence with an eigenvalue of 1.377 with a total variance of 9.835%. The fourth factor is the reference factor which has an eigenvalue of 1.041 with a total variance of 7.062%. Implications for the company to always maintain the quality of service and product quality they have.
