Abstract

Mental health is a condition of subjective feeling of well-being, a self-assessment of feelings which includes aspects of self-concept, fitness and the ability to control oneself. The purpose of conducting counseling in Siguci Village, STM Hilir Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency is to implement a community or community health diagnosis which essentially identifies, formulates and compiles public health problems. Developing a program to handle public health problems that is promotive and preventive in nature and is a learning process to gain professionalism skills. The approach to health problems is carried out through a survey method with a Cross Sectiona l approach based on the stages of community diagnosis. Community Diagnosis is defined as a description or description of public health and the factors that affect the health of the local community both quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on primary data, the risk factors for the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Dusun I Siguci Village are mostly caused by Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), Waste Management, Community Waste Disposal and a priority for health problems is the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever.

Abstract

Senior high school students are young adults who are very active and have broad interactions between each other and their families so that this age group has the potential to become carriers in the transmission of Covid-19. For this reason, this age group needs to build its immune system through various efforts to live healthy behaviors including consuming ingredients / foods that can increase the body's immunity, there are many natural resources in the form of spices that can be used as basic ingredients for making drinks that are useful for increasing body immunity in the body. during the Covid-19 pandemic. The existence of spice plants (red ginger, cinnamon, and brown sugar) which are commonly planted by residents around Deli Tua. Red Ginger contains curcuminoid compounds which function as immunostimulators in boosting the immune system. In addition, spices such as cinnamon and brown sugar contain antioxidants that are high enough to ward off free radicals in our bodies. Community service activities were carried out at the Vocational School of the Indonesian Build Education Foundation (YAPIM) by providing education and lectures to class XII students regarding processing red ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar. The purpose of this service is to provide information about the processing of red ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar into traditional drinks that can increase the body's immunity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The service was carried out by providing an explanation of the stages of the manufacturing process, then continued with direct practice. The results of this community service are in the form of traditional drinks made from red ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar which are expected to increase the immunity of students and the community, then increase knowledge and skills in processing red ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar, especially for extension participants.

Abstract

Talun Kenas Health Center is one of the Technical Implementation Units of the Deli Serdang District Health Office. In the current BPJS era, the Talun Kenas Health Center provides first-level health services related to the National Health Insurance, where referrals for BPJS patient services are still said to be high from 2017. This is caused by officers who do not understand the referral policy for outpatient health centers properly, the availability of medicines is limited and the supporting facilities for medical equipment are minimal. Education is carried out with the aim that officers who are responsible for and involved with BPJS referral procedures can carry out their duties better due to increased knowledge and understanding of the BPJS referral system. The number of participants in the educational activity was 18 health workers at the Talun Kenas Health Center. After the implementation of the activity, there was a significant increase in knowledge related to the referral system and referral for BPJS patients.
