Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the main factors that influence consumer decisions in purchasing the device. By exploring information about consumer preferences, needs, and behavior, this study seeks to identify purchasing trends and understand how aspects such as mobile phone features, price, and brand influence consumer choices. The main objective of this study is to provide in- depth insights to technology industry players so that they can develop more effective and relevant marketing and product strategies to meet dynamic market needs. To achieve this goal, this study uses the Apriori and FP-Growth methods, which are data mining algorithms that are effective in finding associations and patterns in transaction data. The Apriori method focuses on identifying the frequency of occurrence of itemsets and forming association rules based on support and confidence values, while FP- Growth uses a tree approach to store and extract frequently occurring patterns more efficiently. Both methods allow for in-depth analysis of mobile phone purchase data, so that complex patterns can be revealed more accurately and quickly. The results of this study indicate that there is a very clear mobile phone purchasing pattern among consumers, with confidence values reaching 90% for some association rules. For example, consumers who purchase phones with AMOLED displays tend to also choose large battery capacities from certain brands. These patterns indicate strong and consistent preferences across consumer groups, providing manufacturers with opportunities to target specific market segments with tailored product offerings. These findings not only provide valuable insights into consumer behavior but also help companies optimize their marketing strategies and increase their competitiveness in the technology industry.

Abstract

Social assistance is a form of government intervention that aims to help people who are in less fortunate economic conditions. This form of assistance can be in the form of cash assistance, food assistance, or health service assistance. Social assistance programs are often aimed at reducing poverty, addressing hunger, and improving the overall well-being of society. Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is a form of conditional social assistance launched by the government of Indonesia to help poor and vulnerable families. The Program aims to improve the quality of life of poor families through the provision of cash assistance accompanied by obligations for recipients to meet certain requirements, such as ensuring their children attend school and regular health checks at health facilities. With the PKH, it is expected to improve the access of poor families to education and health services, which in turn will improve the quality of Indonesian human resources. Thus, the author can evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each method in the context of the data used. In addition, this comparative analysis also aims to provide more informative recommendations for policy makers. If one of the methods proves to be superior, then it can be adopted to improve the selection process for CCT recipients in the future. However, if both methods have balanced performance, a combination or integration of the two can be the optimal solution. By comparing the performance of Naive Bayes and the C4.5 algorithm, the study not only focused on identifying the right recipients, but also provided valuable insights in choosing the most effective analytical tool for the purpose.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the economy, but they still face challenges in promotion, particularly in utilizing digital media. MSMEs in Bandar Kumbul Village generally still use traditional methods and are unable to create engaging promotional content. This activity aims to improve MSMEs' understanding and skills in using the Canva application as a digital promotional tool. The method used is community service through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages using the 70/20/10 learning model. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and pre- and post-tests. The results show an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in creating promotional content such as posters, banners, and social media, as well as an increase in digital media utilization and understanding of branding. Therefore, Canva is effective in improving the quality of promotions, expanding market reach, and enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has pushed various business sectors, including Aman Store Rantau Prapat, to adapt digital technology to enhance operational efficiency and market reach. Currently, Aman Store still relies on a manual system, which results in inefficiencies in monitoring transactions and stock, as well as a limited market reach. This research aims to design and build a web-based shoe sales information system using PHP and a MySQL database. The system development follows the Waterfall method, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System modeling is represented using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), including Use Case, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams, to visualize actor-system interactions and business processes. The result of this research is a web-based application that provides digital product catalogs, online ordering and payment features, and automated stock management. Implementation of this system is expected to accelerate the transaction process, reduce human error, and expand market coverage beyond the local area, thereby increasing the store's competitiveness.

Abstract

Banjir dan longsor yang melanda Kelurahan Hutanabolon, Kecamatan Tukka, Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, pada akhir tahun 2025 menyebabkan ratusan warga mengungsi dan mengalami kesulitan akses terhadap kebutuhan dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen Universitas Labuhanbatu bekerja sama dengan Dompet Dhuafa dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan penyaluran bantuan darurat serta memberikan edukasi kebencanaan kepada masyarakat terdampak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi rapid assessment, pendistribusian bantuan terintegrasi, penyediaan layanan komunitas seperti dapur umum, pos hangat, layanan charger dan Wi-Fi gratis, serta penyuluhan mitigasi bencana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang diberikan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dasar lebih dari 300 pengungsi, meningkatkan akses informasi, dan memperkuat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap risiko banjir susulan. Kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan Hutanabolon Resilience Model, suatu model konseptual yang mencakup empat komponen ketangguhan: assessment cepat, distribusi bantuan terintegrasi, edukasi komunitas, dan dukungan komunikasi digital. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, NGO, dan pemerintah lokal merupakan pendekatan efektif dalam membangun ketangguhan masyarakat berbasis komunitas. Model ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan secara lebih luas pada penanganan bencana di wilayah rawan lainnya. Kata Kunci : Banjir, Tapanuli Tengah, Penyaluran Bantuan, Edukasi Kebencanaan, Ketangguhan Masyarakat, Dompet Dhuafa.
