Abstract

This study aimsto determine the Marketing Strategy of White Water Rafting Destinations in Rantau Nipis Village. Themethodused in thisstudyis a qualitative descriptive method, namely the process by selecting the object ofre search and then proceeding with the formulation of the problem and asking sever alquestion srelated to a study, then collecting data related to the formulation of the problem. Some of the techniquesused for data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The thing thatmust be done in marketing this white water rafting destination isto use a marketing strategy through social media by posting white water rafting activitieson social media.

Abstract

Banding Agung district is one of ogan komering ulu selatan regency which puts a lot of tourism potential. One of them is bidadari beach which is in the village of sane sugih, bidadari beach has its own uniqueness and beauty because it faces directly mount seminung, and surrounded by rice fields and lake ranau and bukit barisan. The purpose of this research is to create a brand by creating an identity and implementing design strategies so as to increase the attractiveness of local or foreign tourists to the angel beach. The research approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of this research is bidadari beach sugih waras village while the subject of this investigation is the head of tourism and culture office, head of environment office, camat district banding agung, head of sugih waras village, bidadari coast guard and sane sugih village community. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study are expected with the place branding of the beach of the sane sugih village attracting local and foreign tourists to visit.

Abstract

Rantau Nipis is a village located in the District of Banding Agung, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. This village has a postal code of 32274. This village has a population of 1,391 people consisting of 696 men and 695 women. The population of Lime overseas includes various tribes, including the Ogan Tribe, the Semende Tribe, the Java Tribe and the Ranau Tribe. Most of the community's income is from agriculture and fishing. Rantau Jeruk Nipis Village includes tourist areas including white water rafting which is centered on a lake located in Rantau Jeruk Nipis Village, there is a play area for young people to relax, a micro power plant and other areas. Rantau Nipis Village is a village with great tourism potential. Rantau Nipis is a village that has a lot of tourism objects, tourism objects need to be explored and seen with the help of video recording facilities so that this village has audiovisual recordings or can be called videos to attract tourism for the community or visitors.
