Abstract

Introduction. This research analyses efforts made by the library of Muhammadiyah Senior High School 1 Ponorogo in maximising the role of library as a source of learning as issued by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institution. Data Collection Methods. This paper employed a qualitative descriptive approach through participant observations and structured interviews. Data analysis. Data from interview transcripts, observation sheets and documentations were analysed by conducting the process of data display, data reduction and conclusion drawing. The analysis process also considered several supporting literature in the form of books, scientific journals, conference proceeding. Results and discussion. The roles of the library as a learning source are demonstrated by several activities to improve users’ skills such as providing resource capabilities and supporting critical thinking, literacy, and personal and interpersonal development. Conclusion and suggestions: In serving its responsibility as a learning resource, the library at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo did not fully comply with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions' standard requirements. Libraries are limited in their ability to fulfill information needs, but they have make little effort to explain that information to users.

Abstract

Abstrak: Taman Pendidikan Al Qur'an Muhammadiyah se Ponorogo sejumlah 42 lembaga yang tersebar di 21 Kecamatan. Sebanyak 42 peserta perwakilan lembaga mengikuti keterampilan menulis al Qur'an (Maharah al Kitabah) dengan membuat seni Kaligrafi. Seni kaligrafi merupakan sebuah seni menulis indah menggunakan huruf Arab. TPA Muhammadiyah Ponorogo yang memiliki ketertarikan dalam menulis seni Kaligrafi masih sangat terbatas. Maka, tidak heran jika seni Kaligrafi di Muhammadiyah Ponorogo serasa kering. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah Forum Lembaga Pendidikan Al Qur’an Muhammadiyah Ponorogo dengan mengadakan program pengabdian masyarakat dengan mengelar pelatihan menulis seni kaligrafi bagi guru TPA Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah pemahaman mengenai teori dalam menulis seni kaligrafi dan ketrampilan dalam membuat seni kaligrafi guna mendukung kualitas pembelajaran menulis al Qur’an bagi guru.Abstract: The Muhammadiyah Al Qur'an Education Park in Ponorogo has 42 institutions spread across 21 sub-districts. A total of 42 participants representing institutions participated in the skills of writing the Qur'an (Maharah al Kitabah) by making the art of Calligraphy. Calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing using Arabic letters. TPA Muhammadiyah Ponorogo which has an interest in writing calligraphy is still very limited. So, do not be surprised if the art of Calligraphy at Muhammadiyah Ponorogo feels dry. The partner of this service is the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Al Qur'an Educational Institution Forum by holding a community service program by organizing calligraphy writing training for TPA Muhammadiyah Ponorogo teachers. The result of this service is an understanding of the theory in writing calligraphy art and skills in making calligraphy art to support the quality of learning to write the Qur'an for teachers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Muhammadiyah Children Center (Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak-LKSA) di kabupaten Ponorogo sampai dengan tahun 2022 jumlahnya 16 lembaga dengan sekitar 788 anak asuh yang tersebar di 9 Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Dalam pelaksanaannya setiap lembaga dalam menerapkan manajemen pendidikannya masih berjalan sendiri-sendiri, belum ada kurikulum yang seragam yang diterapkan. Maka, tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah menyusun kurikulum LKSA berbasis pesantren yang dapat digunakan secara seragam oleh semua LKSA panti asuhan Muhammadiyah di Ponorogo. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan terhadap 16 pimpinan LKSA Muhammadiyah se Ponorogo secara luring. Tim penyususn pertama kali membuat draf kurikulum, kemudian draft ini dibawa ke forum workshop untuk digodok, dan menampung semua saran dan masukan dari seluruh pimpinan LKSA agar kurikulum sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemakai. Langkah terakhir, kurikulum ini dirapatkan kembali oleh tim penyusun untuk disempurnakan, dan selanjutnya disahkan oleh Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Hasil dari kegiatan ini tersusunnya berupa sebuah kurikulum pesantren berbasis dakwah dan kaderisasi di LKSA panti asuhan Muhammadiyah di kabupaten Ponorogo, yang telah disahkan oleh PDM, dan telah dilounching pada Musyawarah Daerah ke 11 Muhammadiyah dan Aisyiyah Ponorogo.Abstract: Muhammadiyah Children Center (Child Social Welfare Institution-LKSA) in Ponorogo district until 2022 there are 16 institutions with around 788 foster children spread over 9 Muhammadiyah Branch Leaders (PCM) in Ponorogo Regency. In practice, each institution in implementing its educational management is still running separately, there is no uniform curriculum that has been implemented. So, the purpose of this activity is to develop a pesantren-based LKSA curriculum that can be used uniformly by all LKSAs of Muhammadiyah orphanages in Ponorogo. The method used in this service is offline assistance to all LKSA Muhammadiyah leaders in Ponorogo. The drafting team first made a draft of the curriculum, then this draft was brought to the workshop forum to be discussed, and accommodated all suggestions and input from all LKSA leaders so that the curriculum was in accordance with user needs. The last step, this curriculum was brought together again by the drafting team to be perfected, and then ratified by the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Regional Leadership. The results of this activity are in the form of a pesantren curriculum based on da'wah and regeneration at the LKSA Muhammadiyah orphanage in Ponorogo district, which has been approved by PDM, and has been launched at the 11th Regional Conference of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Ponorogo.
