Abstract

McDonalization in the world created a new concept of a new modernization style of Popular Culture. The representation built by McDonald's then changed the capitalization system of the fast-food industry to one that prioritizes time and cost efficiency and offers the prestige of higher consumer class values through a sign system and the formation of a structure in a new service culture at McDonald's. Through a literature review viewed from the perspective of Ritzer's social definition paradigm and Giddens's Modernity, it can be explained that McDonald's makes a mass culture system at the global level for fast food restaurants and a modern system of product services. Meanwhile, McDonald's seems to be simulating a sign and icon that attracts consumers' attention to focus on the goal of forming a higher consumption society with the aim of supporting a smooth capitalization system in the culture industry.Keywords: Modernity; Ritzer; Gidden; Modern Culture Abstract McDonalisasi di dunia menciptakan sebuah konsep baru tentang Budaya Populer baru ala modernisasi. Representasi yang dibangun McDonald kemudian merubah sistem kapitalisasi industri makanan cepat saji menajdi yang mengutamakan efisiensi waktu dan biaya serta menawarkan prestise nilai kelas konsumen yang lebih tinggi melalui sistem tanda dan pembentukan struktur pada budaya pelayanan baru di McDonald. Melalui kajian literatur dilihat dari perspektif paradigma definisi sosial Ritzer dan Modernitas Giddens, dapat dijelaskan bahwa McDonald menjadikan sistem budaya massa ditingkat global untuk resto cepat saji dan sistem modern dari layanan produknya. Adapun McDonald terlihat mensimulasikan sebuah tanda dan icon yang menarik perhatian konsumen untuk menitik beratkan pada tujuan membentuk masyarakat konsumsi yang lebih tinggi dengan tujuan mendukung lancarnya sistem kapitalisasi di industri budaya.Keywords: Modernitas; Ritzer, Gidden; Budaya Modern

Abstract

The Empowerment of Women Farmers Groups (KWT) encourages the formation of self-helpcooperatives. The hope is that the socialization of self-help cooperatives can be a means to helpease the economic burden that has been felt by farmers while waiting for the harvest to arrive.Farmers in Rajaiyang village usually depend on middlemen by borrowing money first, or byborrowing capital from moneylenders to meet their daily needs. A similar reality also occurs whenstarting the planting season. KWT and the Association of Farmers Groups (Gapoktan) inRajaiyang Village depend on moneylenders and middlemen, to meet their supply needs for seedsand fertilizers. This background makes Gapoktan and KWT the target of socializing the formationof self-help cooperatives accompanied by local village heads. It is hoped that the socialization ofthe formation of this self-supporting cooperative can be a pilot project for empowering womenfarmers in dealing with the very concerning problem of debt and credit. So that the existence ofcooperatives can help farmer groups financially in meeting their daily needs. In addition,socialization of the formation of self-help cooperatives among farmers is also expected to increaseagricultural productivity and economic independence of farmers in Rajaiyang village, IndramayuRegency.

Abstract

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the signature project of the Xi Jinping regime, has established a wide range of lofty goals that would usher in a new chapter of China's integration into the global market system and expand Chinese influence. Notably, China's now-powerful digital companies and cyberspace power actively sought a significant position in this massive statist effort under the policy banner of establishing a Digital Silk Road. Under this project, Beijing has multiple policy mechanisms to spread its digital power. Indonesia's enormous digital economy potential has become a significant target of this project. Using the qualitative method and analyzing two-level games by Robert D Putnam, this research will explain the relationship of Indonesian domestic actors concerning China's digital silk road. This research argues that the digital silk road in Indonesia has made more progress than other BRI projects because the DSR has integrated with the government, private sectors, and parliament's need for digital transformation. When the approval rating of domestic stakeholders is high, the success of the cooperation will be high too.

Abstract

The political contestation ahead of the 2024 General Election has begun to be colored by the psychological war of impeachment to hate speech uttered by opposition partisans to bring down political opponents through social media. Various ways and expressions indicating the connection of political actors with reading negative views of society, such as Anies Baswedan's candidacy as a Presidential Candidate for 2024, have begun to be colored by controversy on social media which is associated with radicalism and indications of Anies' connection with banned organizations. In an attempt to dissect this case study, the researcher used a quantitative method based on Big Data to find the distribution of Communication Networks on Twitter social media. Based on the study results, it shows that there is a central role for actors and organizations who dislike Anies Baswedan by using hashtags and mentions to create negative opinions.
