Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Quizizz application in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic for teachers at SD Negeri 101877 Tanjung Morawa. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 101877 Tanjung Morawa. The research subjects were teachers and students of grade V SD Negeri 101877 Tanjung Morawa. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from the results of observations, interviews, documentation and filling out questionnaires by students. The results of online learning research using the Quizizz application are that learning becomes fun, increases focus in learning, is more enthusiastic, and stimulates students to understand questions better and makes it easier for teachers to analyze students' questions and answers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai literasi sains dan pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran IPA abad 21 dan untuk mengkaji, mengambarkan mengenai kesesuaian literasi sains dan pendidikan karaktek terhadap pelajaran IPA abad 21. Literasi sains merupakan kemampuan untuk memahami sains, mengkomunikasikan sains, serta menerapkan kemampuan sains untuk memecahkan masalah, pada proses pembelajaran literasi sains mudah dikaitkan dengan mata pelajaran IPA. Literasi sains dan pendidikan karakter membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi dan nilai-nilai karakter dalam diri untuk daya saing pada abad 21. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan metode literature review, yaitu dengan proses meletakkan, mendapatkan, membaca, serta mengevaluasi berbagai literature penelitian terkait atau berhubungan dengan persoalan yang akan diteliti. Data yang dideskripsikan yaitu hasil penelitian mengenai literasi sains dan pendidikan karakter pada abad 21, yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya. Hasil kajian literatur didapatkan bahwa literasi sains dan pendidikan karakter dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran IPA abad 21.

Abstract

Analysis of Self Development and Professionalism of Teachers in Elementary Schools is described in this study. The purpose of the study was to determine the percentage of self development activities and teacher professionalism in elementary schools. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 12 teachers in grades 1-6 from 2 different schools, then the data was analyzed and the percentage (%) of each activity was grouped into categories of ever (E), sometimes (S), and never (N). This research was conducted at SD Negeri 102126 Gunung Para, Dolok Merawan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency and students of SD Negeri 010247 Silo Lama, Silau Laut District, Asahan Regency. From the results of the study, data obtained that 41.67% had carried out self development and teacher professionalism activities, 12.50 sometimes carried out self development and professionalism activities, and 45.83% had never carried out self development and professionalism activities, one of the factors that led to the percentage of teachers who have participated in self development activities and teacher professionalism is that there are teachers who have recently served as teachers at the school.
