Abstract

Kota-kota besar di pinggir pantai seperti Jakarta, Semarang atau Surabaya dan lain-lain merupakan pusat kegiatan ekonomi dan perdagangan yang sangat strategi letaknya. Namun demikian kota-kota ini juga menjadi sasaran strategis untuk terkena bencana banjir. Bencana banjir yang terjadi di Indonesia umumnya banyak disebabkan oleh pengelolaan lingkungan yang kurang baik. Reboisasi yang dulu disebut-sebut sebagai dalangnya banjir, kini sudah bukan satu-satunya lagi, karena saat ini penyebab banjir tersebut tidak lagi disebabkan oleh masalah yang ada di hulu, tetapi masalah yang ada di sekitar hilir pun menjadi penyebab utama. Masalah-masalah tersebut antara lain kurangnya lokasi-lokasi resapan air dan tidak dikelolanya sistem drainase di kota-kota besar pinggir pantai.Denganpengelolaan data operasional sistem aliran bangunan drainase kota yang baik diharapkan sistem drainase di kota-kota besar khususnya di DKI Jakarta dapat dipantau terus kuaitasnya, sehingga dapat diketahui mana yang masih memadai dan mana yang sudah tidak memadai.

Abstract

Gorontalo Province as new agricultural base province in the autonomous effortsthrough the Agency for Water Resources Management has been collecting andmanaging all data of water resources. Good data management for water resources is needed to support agricultural and fishery base activity in this province. The identification of potential of the existing water resources is needed for computer base structural database management system design. The design of database system is used as reference for development of software for water resources database management. The developed software can be used as Decision Support System to help provincial management and useful for information system to find out the potential of all water resources in Gorontalo Province area. The output of this activity is software for managing water resources in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Clean water needs and wastewater treatment will be a serious problem for industry especially for food industries. The packet information of applicable technology for water treatment and industrial waste handling that can support any development sector nowadays is needed by any kind of society especially for small and medium enterprise players. To face on globalisation, the computer and information technology will be used as an important tools for distributing the packet of technology from R&D community to any kind of society through global network. By using the existing network infrastructure in the country, the packet information of technology will be distributed electronically specially to help group of small and medium industry. As pilot project, this activity chooses the tahu/tempe industry located in Semanan, Jakarta Barat for the industrial centre. By surveying the need of technology, we try to help craftsman to resolve their problem on clean water supply and industrial waste, so they can increase their product quality.

Abstract

The increasing number of resident in an area impact to the increasing number ofdomestic waste produced by that area.The amount of existing landfill waste is notenough to accommodate all waste.This is the reason why the researchers need todevelop a landfill waste with good performance. Good performance landfill can treatwaste quickly and does not contaminate the environment. Methan gas produced by thelandfill waste can be used as alternatif energy resources. To improve the performance oflandfill waste, the waste management in landfill waste need to be monitored. The landfillwaste monitoring carried out on quality of leacate, volume and concentration of gas,and some other parameters. To facilitate the monitoring process should be developeddatabase software for landfill waste performance monitoring. With this software the datais managed in such a way so that it can be called back quickly and easily and can bedisplayed in various forms of landfill performance analysis reports

Abstract

Nowadays the water quality monitoring project that had been doing bygovernment institution is increase due to decreasing of water quality. Manymethods and techniques are developed for water quality monitoring. Thecommunication technology development such as GSM/CDMA technologycan be used as new network infrastructure for water quality monitoring.People over the world are now using this technology as newcommunication medium. With SMS as the one of services from GSMtechnology people can send or receive messages easily. By using theintegration of digital sensor for water quality, digital data logger and GSMmodem as communication unit, the water quality can be monitored ascheap as sending the SMS by phone cell. The critical value of water qualityparameter also can be monitored and sent to the phone cell of decisionmaker.

Abstract

Serayu River has decrease in capacity, both in quality and quantity. This condition causes the function and performance of the river as a source of water for community activities to be less than optimal. Efforts to improve monitoring of the Serayu River water quality require a continuous monitoring program implemented online. Therefore, a more reliable effort to control water pollution is needed in order to maintain water quality according to its purpose. The purpose of the research is to periodically monitor water quality and determine the status of water quality in the Serayu River. It is hoped that this explanation will be used as a comparison for manual monitoring activities that have been did in the Serayu River previously and as a reference for monitoring water quality in other locations. The method of measuring water quality is using online monitoring system and determining the status of water quality using the Storet analysis method. Samples were taken and measured from 2 stations namely Bendung Wanganaji and Bendung Gerak Serayu using mulptiprobe sensors consisting of parameters of temperature, DO, pH, TDS, conductivity, turbidity, nitrate and ammonia. Data from sensor measurements are sent and analyzed online by the onlimo system. The data that has been analyzed are then verified and reanalyzed using the Storet method. The results of the analysis of water quality monitoring of Serayu River state that the quality in Serayu River water is classified as light to moderate polluted. ABSTRAK Sungai Serayu telah mengalami penurunan kapasitas, baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Kondisi ini menyebabkan fungsi dan kinerja sungai sebagai sumber air bagi aktivitas masyarakat menjadi kurang optimal. Upaya meningkatkan pemantauan kualitas air Sungai Serayu memerlukan program pemantauan yang kontinyu dan dilaksanakan secara online. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya pengendalian pencemaran air yang lebih handal dalam rangka untuk menjaga kualitas air sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk memantau kualitas air secara berkala dan menentukan status mutu air di Sungai Serayu. Paparan ini diharapkan menjadi bahan komparasi kegiatan pemantauan manual yang telah dilakukan di Sungai Serayu sebelumnya dan menjadi acuan pemantauan kualitas air di lokasi lain. Metode pengukuran kualitas air menggunakan sistem online monitoring dan penentuan status mutu air menggunakan metode analisis Storet. Sampel diperoleh dari 2 stasiun yaitu Bendung Wanganaji dan Bendung Gerak Serayu menggunakan mulptiprobe sensor yang terdiri dari suhu, DO, pH, TDS, DHL, turbiditas, nitrat dan amonia. Data hasil pengukuran sensor dikirim dan dianalisis secara online oleh sistem onlimo. Data hasil analisis selanjutnya diverifikasi dan dianalisis ulang menggunakan metode Storet. Hasil analisis pemantauan kualitas air Sungai serayu menyatakan kualitas air Sungai Serayu tergolong dalam klasifikasi tercemar ringan hingga tercemar sedang.
