Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis :1) Persebaran wilayah kekeringan di Kabupaten Pelalawan dan 2) Menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi kekeringan. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, Populasi mencakup semua Wilayah di Kabupten Pelalawan. Sampel penelitian mencakup semua kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Pelalawan yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling.. Hasil penelitian : 1) Persebaran wilayah kekeringan di Kabupten Pelalawan luas lahan keseluruhan nya 1.300.473 Ha, Tingkat kerawanan kekeringan di Kategorikan “Tinggi” luas wilayah yang dicakupi 667.779 Ha dan kategori “Rendah” Seluas 316.976 Ha. Jadi dapat di simpulkan persebaran wilayah kekeringan termasuk Tinggi dengan wilayah kecamatan yang memliki rawan kekeringan paling tinggi yaitu Kecamatan Teluk meranti 265.739 Ha, Pangkalan kuras  116.116 Ha, Langgam 62.488 Ha dan Kerumutan 47.015 Ha, dan wilayah kekeringan yang sedikit di Kecamatan  Kuala Kampar 3.195 Ha dan Bandar Petalangan 7.037 Ha. 2) Faktor geografis dominan yang mempengaruhi kekeringan adalah Jenis tanah dengan wilayah tertinggi berada di jenis tanah Padsolik sebesar 250.784 Ha, wilayah  Kemiringan Lereng 25-45% seluas 229.862 Ha dan tutupan lahan seperti perkebunan 205,826 Ha, Hutan rawa sekunder 168.189 Ha dan Hutan Tanaman seluas 126.021 Ha.

Abstract

Changes in land use are basically unavoidable in the implementation of development. Rapid population growth and the increasing demand for land by the community, often results in conflicts of interest over land use and discrepancies between land use and its allotment plan. The land is limited and cannot be added except by reclamation activities, so that limited land in urban areas causes cities to develop physically towards the outskirts of the city. The increase in the number of urban residents also means an increase in the need for land. Because land cannot increase, what happens is a change in land use which tends to reduce the proportion of land that was previously agricultural land use to non-agricultural land. Changes in land use are all human interventions, both permanently and cyclically, to a collection of natural resources and artificial resources, which as a whole is called land, with the aim of fulfilling their needs, both material and spiritual, or both. Likewise with the land use that occurred in the District of Nanggalo, in 2006 there were still many agricultural lands found.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) To find out the shape of the area of ​​change in the conversion of paddy fields to infrastructure in the city of Padang. (2) To find out the impact of paddy field conversion on infrastructure in the city of Padang. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study is all sub-districts in the city of Padang, while the samples in this study are the Kuranji sub-district and the Pauh sub-district. The sampling technique in this study was purposive random sampling. Data analysis technique used spatial overlay analysis technique using ArcGIS and descriptive analysis technique using a questionnaire. Research result. (1) The area of ​​conversion of paddy fields to infrastructure in Padang City, namely settlements in Kuranji District, is 567.1 ha. The area of ​​change in paddy fields in Padang City in 2010-2020 is 1,315.81 ha. (2) The impact of the conversion of paddy fields to infrastructure, namely roads, bridges, schools, water resources and settlements. a) Roads with a percentage of 100% are construction of new roads. b) Bridges with a percentage of 64.3% where no bridges are built. c) Schools with a percentage of 67% do not have SD, SMP and SMA construction. d) Water Resources with a percentage of 75.16% reduced water resources. e) Settlements with an overall percentage of 100% have been built with many new settlements and the population has increased.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data, mengolah, menganalisis dan membahas Pengembangan Potensi Geopark Silokek Berbasis Geowisata dan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan dilihat dari : 1) Potensi geosite yang ada di Geopark Silokek 2) Rencana Pengembangan Geopark Silokek. Jenis penelitian mixed method, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Kawasan Geopark Silokek. Informan penelitian dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara pada pihak terkait. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa : 1) Potensi geosite yang ada di  Geopark Silokek. Geopark Silokek memiliki potensi yang sangat menarik dan menakjubkan. Geosite Silokek memiliki keragaman geologi dan keanekargaman hayati yang unik. Jenis tanah Seperti jenis tanah alluvial, struktural dan denudasional. Memiliki ekosistem seperti hutan, air terjun dan  flora yang unik dan khas serta fauna yang dilindungi dan langkah. Budaya masyarakat yang masih dipertahankan seperti perkampungan adat, berkaul, batobo, dan lubuk larangan. Keindahan bentang alam yang indah seperti pemandangan  bukit karst, jembatan Sangkiamo dengan singkapan batu granit di bawahnya, goa dan air terjun 2) Rencana pengembangan Geopark Silokek di bagian sarana prasarana. Sarana rencana pengembangan itu seperti perbaikan jalan utama menuju situs geologi, biologi, dan budaya. Menambah panel-panel informasi pada setiap situs geologi, biologi dan budaya serta membuat buku informasi dan leaflet, peta perjalanan dan peta geotrail (jalur geowisata) serta website tentang Geopark Silokek. Memperbanyak jumlah pemandu wisata dan memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, terutama dalam hal kapasitas terkait Geowisata. Akses, tahun ini akan ada melakukan kegiatan peningkatan jalan, seperti ada sedikit pelebaran dan membuka sebagian tempat parkir yang dananya dari APBD sekitar 17 M.. Promosi, promosi dilakukan melalui website dan media sosial : Instagram dan Facebook. Mengadakan kegiatan event-event nasional dan internasional serta pameran dan juga menjalin  kerjasama dengan mitra lokal: travel agent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini yang bertujuan Untuk mengetahui bentuk kearifan lokal masyarakat sebagai upaya mitigasi bencana Longsor di Kecamatan Jangkat Timur Kabupaten Merangin Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi (Mixed Methods). Penelitian dilakukan dan dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Jangkat Timur Kabupaten Merangin. teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan cara pengambilan data dengan angket dan pedoman wawancara. Pengambilan data dengan angket dengan menggunakan analisis skala likert.hasil penelitian ini adalah Bentuk kearifan lokal masyarakat sebagai upaya mitigasi bencana Longsor di Kecamatan Jangkat Timur Kabupaten Merangin hasil Interprestasi Skor dengan persentase 72,07% kategori “Baik” berdasarkan Indikator Kearifan Lokal berwujud nyata dengan Persentase 69,08% Kategori baik dan Indikator Kearifan lokal berwujud tidak nyata dengan persentase 75,07% dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The study utilized a quantitative descriptive methodology alongside GIS-oriented spatial analysis. Data gathering entailed conducting field surveys to obtain coordinates for 76 recognized tourist sites utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS), in addition to conducting interviews and secondary data collecting from the Sijunjung Regency Tourism Office. Spatial configurations were examined via the nearest neighbor analysis technique to ascertain distribution types, while accessibility was assessed through buffering methods within a radius of 300–800 meters from primary access points. The results indicate that nature tourism constitutes a significant majority of tourist attractions in Sijunjung Regency at 69.7%, with cultural attractions at 17.1% and man-made attractions at 13.2%. The allocation of these locations is disproportionate, with a notable concentration (exceeding 55%) in the districts of Sijunjung, Silokek, and Sumpur Kudus. Nearest Neighbor Analysis validated a clustered spatial configuration (R index < 1), suggesting that attractions are inclined to congregate, especially near the urban core and prominent natural centers. In terms of accessibility, although significant natural landmarks are often within a 400-meter proximity to primary thoroughfares, numerous cultural and constructed sites experience poor accessibility, with distances beyond 800 meters and insufficient infrastructure. The research determines that GIS serves as a valuable instrument for recognizing the opportunities and limitations of regional tourism advancement. The clustered arrangement aids in the development of trip packages, although the limited accessibility of cultural places hinders the optimization of visitor numbers. Local authorities are advised to focus on enhancing infrastructure for promising yet inadequately reachable locations and to engage local populations in governance to guarantee fair economic advantages and sustainable progress.

Abstract

The high susceptibility of West Sumatra to hydrometeorological disasters, particularly galodo (flash floods), necessitates comprehensive assessments of post-disaster infrastructure conditions to support effective recovery and disaster risk reduction. This study aims to evaluate the extent of infrastructure damage caused by the galodo flash flood that struck Nagari Lima Kaum, Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar Regency, in May 2024. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey design. The study population comprised households located in the affected areas, with 200 respondents selected from 797 households through proportional random sampling across four villages (jorong): Dusun Tuo, Balai Labuah Atas, Balai Labuah Bawah, and Piliang. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and field observations, while secondary data were obtained from the Nagari Lima Kaum Office and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Tanah Datar Regency. The level of infrastructure damage was analyzed using a Likert-scale-based assessment. The findings reveal that the overall infrastructure damage was classified as high, with a damage index of 80.56%. The most severe impacts were observed in residential buildings and public infrastructure, particularly bridges and places of worship, whereas educational and healthcare facilities experienced relatively lower levels of damage. These findings underscore the urgent need to strengthen resilient infrastructure, improve post-disaster recovery strategies, and integrate disaster risk reduction measures into regional development planning in flash-flood-prone areas.

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai Kuranji merupakan DAS strategis yang berperan penting dalam sistem hidrologi perkotaan. Sungai ini berhulu di Pegunungan Bukit Barisan, melintasi kawasan padat penduduk, dan bermuara ke Samudra Hindia. Dalam dua dekade terakhir, frekuensi dan intensitas banjir meningkat akibat perubahan tata guna lahan seperti alih fungsi hutan dan ruang terbuka hijau. Hal ini menyebabkan berkurangnya vegetasi, menurunnya infiltrasi, dan meningkatnya limpasan permukaan, diperparah oleh curah hujan tinggi dan kondisi hulu yang curam. Upaya pengendalian masih dominan struktural dan belum menyentuh akar masalah. Karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan ekohidrologi berbasis masyarakat melalui penanaman pohon untuk memperbaiki siklus air, mengurangi limpasan, dan meningkatkan ketahanan lingkungan DAS.
