Abstract

Abstract

In this globalization era,  good capability in project management is necessary for every telecommunication service provider  to  win the competition.  PT. XYZ is trying to improve it’s way in project management to be able to compete and be the number 1 Telecommunication service provider  in Indonesia and to do that the Top Management is focusing in Asset Management. The questions in this research are : How do the improvement taken right  now align with Group PPM’s Strategic Plan ? and What are the impact from current group PPM’s  positions to its strategic plan? This research is based on Quantitative  approach  using OPM3 to calculate degree of maturity, and Qualitative approach  to find the root cause in asset management. From calculation and data analysis, Group PM’s actions is align with its strategic plan but its strategic plan is partially achieved because the implementation is not running as expected and there are root cause that has not been answered yet. The impact is, its strategic plan not running as expected and there is a delay possibility. This research recommends: Recommendation / solution from Root Cause Analysis, First priority and second priority from the OPM3 framework, Recommendation to complete Best Practices, and Time Frame to accomplish all Best Practices. Keywords: Root Cause, Project Management, OPM3 (Organizational Project Management Maturity Model)

Abstract

Abstrak: This research is motivated by the low motivation to learn PPKn class VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. The formulation of the problem in this study is: "What is the Effect of the Application of the Indext Card Learning Model Match on the Learning Motivation of Students in Class VII of SMPN 1 Sibolangit" ?. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Indext Card Match learning model on PPKn learning motivation for grade VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. This type of research is experimental research. The study was conducted at Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. Samples from this study were students of class VII1 as an experimental class and students in class VII3 as a control class, this sample was determined randomly after homogeneity testing in all populations. The experimental class is a class that is given a treatment using the Index Card Match learning model, while the control class is the class that is treated using the conventional Conventional method. Based on the analysis of the difference test "t" of the two classes shows t count> t table (38.1> 20.00), which means there is a significant influence between using the card match index learning model with conventional methods. Thus the use of the card match index learning model has a positive and significant influence on students' learning motivation in the class VII PPKn subjects at Sibolangit Middle School 1. Observation activities of teachers who were taught using the card match index model at the first meeting were 93.7% with the "perfect" category and at the second meeting increased to 96.1% with the "perfect" category to determine the level of activity of the experimental teacher from the first meeting and the second meeting was averaged at 97.30% with the category "very perfect". Thus the hypothesis that reads there is the influence of the use of the Indext Card Match learning model on PPKn learning motivation for grade VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School, can be accepted.Key words: Card Match Index, Learning Motivation

Abstract

The heavy reliance of Indonesian rice farmers on inorganic fertilizers has led to land degradation and declining productivity, necessitating a shift toward more sustainable approaches. This study analyses the technical efficiency of organic fertilizer use in rice farming in Secanggang Subdistrict, Langkat Regency, employing an input-oriented Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model on a sample of 45 farmers. Input variables include land area (0.2–1.2 ha), organic fertilizer quantity (200–500 kg/ha), labor (15–30 person-days/season), and production costs (IDR 3–5 million/season), while outputs consist of productivity (4–6 tons/ha) and income (IDR 8–12 million/season). The DEA results indicate an average technical efficiency of 78% under the Constant Returns to Scale (CRS) model and 85% under the Variable Returns to Scale (VRS) model, with 22% of farmers achieving optimal efficiency levels (>90%). Further analysis reveals that farmers cultivating more than 0.5 hectares attained 12% higher efficiency compared to those with smaller plots (p < 0.05), and farming experience of over 10 years contributed to an 8% efficiency increase (p < 0.1). Economically, organic fertilizer use reduced production costs by 15–20% through the substitution of chemical inputs and increased average seasonal income by approximately IDR 1.2 million. The key findings of this study are: (1) there is a 22% potential gain in efficiency through input optimization; (2) managerial factors (experience, education) have a greater influence on efficiency than technical factors; and (3) an organic fertilizer dosage of 300–400 kg/ha yielded the most efficient outcomes.
