Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh varietas dan dosis pupuk Npk pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan 20 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas 3 tanaman sehingga jumlah total yang digunakan yaitu 180 tanaman. Adapun parameter yang diteliti dalam penelitian diantaranya tinggi tanaman 15, 30 dan 45 HSPT, diameter batang 15, 30 dan 45 HSPT, jumlah cabang produktif, berat buah, jumlah buah pertanaman, panjang buah dan potensi hasil. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya adanya interaksi antara pemberian dosis pupuk NPK oleh berbagai varietas cabai yang di ujikan. Hal ini terlihat dari parameter tinggi tanaman umur 45 HSPT, jumlah buah pertanaman, berat buah pertanaman, panjang buah pertanaman dan potensi hasil (ton ha-1). Interaksi terbaik secara keseluruhan terdapat pada varietas PM 999 F1 dengan pemberian dosis pupuk NPK 250 kg ha-1.Growth and Yield Of Several Varieties of Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) at Various Doses of NPK Fertilizer Abstrak. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of varieties and doses of Npk fertilizer on the growth and yield of red chili plants. The study was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 20 treatment combinations and 3 replications and each experimental unit consisted of 3 plants so that the total number used was 180 plants. The parameters studied in this study included plant heights of 15, 30 and 45 HSPT, stem diameters of 15, 30 and 45 HSPT, number of productive branches, fruit weight, number of fruit planted, fruit length and yield potential. The results showed that there was an interaction between the doses of NPK fertilizer by the various varieties of chili tested. This can be seen from the parameters of plant height at 45 HSPT, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, length of fruit planted and potential yield (ton ha-1). The best overall interaction was found in the PM 999 F1 variety with a dose of 250 kg ha-1 of NPK fertilizer.
