Abstract

Larva ikan merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam menentukan kelestarian sumberdaya hayati perikanan tawar dan perikanan laut. Stadia larva merupakan stadia yang penting bagi perkembangan, khususnya ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis famili larva ikan, distribusi, kelimpahan, keseragaman, keanekaragaman dan dominansi larva ikan di ekosistem mangrove. Penelitian ini terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dengan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Ketiga jenis perlakuan tersebut adalah perbedaan umur mangrove yaitu: A. Stasiun I (umur mangrove >10 tahun), B. Stasiun II (umur mangrove 7 tahun), dan C. Stasiun III (umur mangrove 3 tahun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa larva ikan yang tertangkap selama penelitian sebanyak 1.288 individu yang terdiri dari terdiri dari 7 famil yaitu Adrianichthyidae, Carangidae, Clupeidae, Engraulidae, Gerreidae, Gobiidae, dan Megalopidae. Larva ikan yang tertangkap memiliki sebaran yang berbeda-beda pada lokasi penelitian. Famili Gerreidae dan Gobiidae memiliki sebaran yang cukup luas, dimana dapat ditemukan di seluruh wilayah. Hasil analisis Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’), Indeks Keseragaman (e), dan Indeks Dominansi (D) larva ikan menunjukkan nilai yang berfluktuatif. Pada setiap wilayah nilai indeks keanekaragaman dari hasil analisis setiap wilayah menunjukkan keanekaragaman populasi yang rendah.

Abstract

One of the most important sectors in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi is the fisheries sector. This sector contributes to regional income, food security, and job creation. Lake Tempe has several problems such as conflicts between fishermen, unrestricted access to new technology, inadequate management of fisheries resources, uncontrolled fishing, and traditional community-based fisheries management. Co-management is carried out to organize activities in fisheries management. For this reason, it is necessary to strengthen institutions in managing the use of fishery resources and developing networks between fishing communities. This research was conducted using a structured questionnaire to identify and integrate the co-management model in Lake Tempe. There are relevant findings regarding this research, some of which are: (1) Goals, (2) Targets, and (3) Strategies, namely infrastructure strategy, banking services, coordination between authorities, organizational structure, cooperation, formation of cooperatives, training programs, and utilizing local wisdom. Natural resource management is a form of adaptive management, co-management, and change governance. Stakeholder involvement in improving conservation management and taking socio-economic aspects of the characteristics of the Tempe Lake area is an important element in efforts to design and implement co-management in fisheries resource management.

Abstract

Danau Tempe merupakan salah satu kekayaan alam yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam melimpah. Potensi ini perlu dieksplorasi dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat terutama dalam hal objek wisata. Namun, fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, potensi sumber daya alam yang dimiliki danau Tempe belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, diantaranya keberadaan bola’mawang (rumah terapung) yang terdapat di danau Tempe. Dengan demikian pelaksanaan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi danau Tempe untuk pengembangan Dewi Bolang (Desa Wisata Bola’mawang). Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yakni pendekatan Tudang Sipulung yang diawali dengan observasi, wawancara, FGD dan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan pendampingan. Data dan informasi yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa danau Tempe memiliki potensi lokal yang dapat dijadikan objek wisata yang unik dan menarik yakni adanya bola’mawang, komunitas nelayan yang bermukim di tengah danau menggunakan bola’mawang, belum memiliki pengetahuan skill dalam mengembangkan potensi tersebut sebagai objek wisata. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bola’mawang, dapat dijadikan icon wisata yang unik dan dapat di branding menjadi objek wisata di Kabupaten Wajo.

Abstract

Kappaphycus alvarezii seaweed is important for the processing industry because it contains carrageenan used as a stabilizer, thickener, material forming an emulsifier. This study aimed to find the best and optimal initial seed weight treatment for maximum biomass production, growth rate, and carrageenan content. The research location was in the waters of Aeng Batu-Batu Village, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi in August-September 2022. The randomized block design method (RAK) consisted of 4 treatments each with 4 repetitions. Seaweed seedlings from spores were weight of 20 g, 40 g, 60 g, and 80 g planted at 60 cm depth respectively and maintained for 45 days. Data analysis used (ANOVA) and W-Tuckey to determine the differences between treatments. The result of the analysis of variences showed that the weight of 40 g, 60 g, and 80 g had an effect on the biomass production, growth rate, and K. alvarezii carrageenan content. However, the highest yield was obtained at a weight of 20 g which had a very significant effect (p<0.01).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh paparan logam timbal terhadap embrio dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup Ikan Medaka. Laju proporsional mortalitas dan survival rate embrio ikan medaka yang terpapar logam Pb pada nilai yang berbeda pada konsentrasi 0,02 mg / l, 0,2 mg / l dan 2 mg / l. Pengumpulan data kematian dilakukan setiap jam selama 10 hari dengan mengamati jumlah telur yang mati disamping mengamati kematian juga tingkat kelangsungan hidup. Hasil analisis data mortalitas dengan nilai rata-rata dan standar deviasi didapatkan mortalitas embrio ikan medaka pada kontrol berbeda nyata dengan kelompok kontrol. Dampak toksikologi embrio lebih terlihat pada konsentrasi mortalitas yang lebih tinggi (2 mg/l) dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi yang lebih rendah (0,02mg / l). Insiden tertinggi sebesar konsentrasi deviasi standar (0,02mg / l). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi pengaruh konsentrasi logam Pb, maka kematian atau kelangsungan hidup embrio ikan medaka yang umum terjadi di perairan permukaan sungai pattunuangasue semakin rendah. A B S T R A C T The present study aimed to determine the mortality of embryos and the survival rate of medaka fish exposed to Pb metal. The proportional rate of mortality and survival rate of medaka fish embryos exposed to Pb metal at different values at concentrations of 0.02 mg/l, 0.2 mg/l and 2 mg/l. Mortality data collection was carried out every hour for 10 days by observing the number of dead eggs in addition to mortality also observed survival rates. Mortality data analysis results with the average value and standard deviation obtained mortality of medaka fish embryos at the control were significantly different from the control group. The embryo toxicological impact was more pronounced in higher mortality concentrations of (2mg/l) compared to lower concentrations (0.02mg/l). Their highest incidence amounted to standard deviation concentrations of (0,02mg/l). The study proved significant the higher the concentration of Pb metals impact, the mortality or the lower the survival rate of medaka fish embryos commonly occurring in surface waters in Pattunuangasue river.

Abstract

Aktivitas penangkapan ikan di Danau Tempe merupakan mata pencaharian utama bagi banyak nelayan dan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal. Namun dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penangkapan ikan di Danau Tempe menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan. Salah satu permasalahan utama adalah penggunaan alat penangkapan ikan yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2023 untuk mengkaji efesiensi teknis nelayan skala kecil dan tingkat keramahan lingkungan pada penggunaan alat penangkapan ikan di Danau Tempe. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode survey dan selanjutnya menggunakan metode analisis produktifitas, komposisi dan analisis data indeks keramahan lingkungan untuk mengetahui secara langsung penggunaan dari masing-masing alat tangkap. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan selama 1 trip penangkapan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap Jaring Insang, Pancing Rawai, Jala Tebar, dan Anco diperoleh 7 jenis ikan hasil tangkapan yang dominan yaitu ikan Mujiar, ikan Tawes, ikan Sapu-sapu, ikan Nila, ikan Bungo, ikan Betutu, ikan Patin. Identifikasi hasil tangkapan alat tangkap jaring insang (Gill Net) menangkap sebanyak 5 spesies, alat tangkap rawai (Long Line) menangkap sebanyak 2 spesies, alat tangkap jala tebar (Cast Net) menangkap sebanyak 5 spesies, alat tangkap Anco (Lift Net) menangkap sebanyak 4 spesies. Dan alat tangkap Anco (Lift Net) menangkap sebanyak 4 spesies. Terdapat inefisiensi yang mempengaruhi dari total hasil tangkapan yang diperoleh pada masing-masing alat tangkap selama penangkapan. Dari hasil tingkat keramahan lingkungan alat tangkap yang digunakan nelayan Danau Tempe yaitu dari jaring insang (Gill Net) menghasilkan skor sebesar 31,1%, rawai (Long Line) skor sebesar 31%, jala tebar (Cast Net) skor sebesar 32,5%, dan anco (Lift Net) skor sebesar 32%, berdasarkan skor tersebut semua alat tangkap yang gunakan termasuk kategori ramah lingkungan menurut klasifikasi statistik internasional standar FAO.   Fishing activities in Lake Tempe are the main livelihood for many fishermen and make a significant contribution to the local economy. However, in recent years, fishing in Lake Tempe has faced various challenges and problems. One of the main problems is the use of fishing equipment that is not environmentally friendly. This research was conducted from January to May 2023 to examine the technical efficiency of small-scale fishermen and the level of environmental friendliness in the use of fishing equipment in Lake Tempe. The data was analyzed using the survey method and then using the productivity analysis method, composition and environmental friendliness index data analysis to find out directly the use of each fishing gear. Based on the results of the research, it shows that during 1 fishing trip using Gill Net, Longline Fishing, Tebar Net and Anco fishing gear, 7 dominant types of fish were obtained, namely Mujiar fish, Tawes fish, Sapu-sapu fish, Tilapia fish, Bungo fish, fish Betutu, Patin fish. Identification of catches by gill net fishing gear (Gill Net) caught as many as 5 species, longline fishing gear (Long Line) caught as many as 2 species, cast net fishing gear (Cast Net) caught as many as 5 species, Anco fishing gear (Lift Net) caught as many as 4 species. And the Anco fishing gear (Lift Net) catches as many as 4 species. There are inefficiencies that affect the total catch obtained from each fishing gear during fishing. From the results of the level of environmental friendliness of the fishing gear used by Lake Tempe fishermen, namely gill nets (Gill Net) resulting in a score of 31.1%, longlines (Long Line) a score of 31%, cast nets (Cast Net) a score of 32.5% , and anco (Lift Net) score of 32%, based on this score all fishing gear used is included in the environmentally friendly category according to the FAO standard international statistical classification.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan warisan budaya nilai-nilai dari satu nenek moyang ke generasi selanjutya yang berkaitan antara manusia dan alam. Kearifan lokal dalam bentuk hukum adat yang diadopsi secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat nelayan Danau Tempe dianggap memiliki peran penting dalam melestarikan ekosistem yang ada diperairan Danau Tempe. Disisi lain tak bisa kita pungkiri bahwa perubahan sosial tentu akan membawa dampak terhadap perubahan budaya di Masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal dan aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi. Peran kearifan lokal terhadap pelestarian sumber daya ikan Danau Tempe Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2023 dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal yaitu: Maccera tappareng, maduppa wai, elong bale larangan menangkap ikan pada malam jumat, larangan membawa dua parewa pakkaja (alat tangkap), larangan bertengkar di danau, larangan menangkap di wilayah tertentu, larangan menyeberangkan mayat di danau, larangan menangkap ikan tanpa penutup kepala, serta larangan bermesraan dua orang muda-mudi.

Abstract

The critical condition of Lake Tempe has undergone comprehensive changes over the last 10 years. Fisheries management strategy indicators with an appropriate ecosystem-based approach can reduce and prevent unbalanced environmental impacts. This research analyzes fisheries management using the Ecosystem Approach Fisheries Management (EAFM) module, the Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries Sustainability (RAPFISH) method. Six important statuses and dimensions used as attribute indicator analysis in this research are fish resource dimensions, habitat dimensions, fishing technique dimensions, economic dimensions, social dimensions, and institutional dimensions. The analysis results show that the fishery management status value for Lake Tempe is 36.072 in the unsustainable category. Based on the RAPFISH analysis, namely: (1) Economic dimensions 21.390 in the unsustainable category, (2) Habitat dimensions 36.050 in the unsustainable category, (3) Fish resource dimensions 24.483 in the moderately sustainable category, (4) Fishing technique dimensions 42.180 in the moderately sustainable category, (5) Institutional dimensions 48.070 categories are quite sustainable (6) Social dimensions 45.590 categories are quite sustainable. Based on the AHP analysis, habitat dimensions, protection of important zones for spawning grounds, nursery grounds, and water hyacinth cover problems are identified.
