Abstract

The Incremental Rotary Encoder have been widely used to measure the angular speed of electrical drive such as Permanent Magnet Direct Current Motor (PMDCM). Nevertheless, speed measurement of PMDCM from the encoder signals can be subject to errors in some special condition such as in low resolution encoder. There are two main methods to measure the angular speed of PMDCM through encoder signal such as frequency-based and period-based wich has its own properties. Hence in this reseach aimed to improve the angular speed measurement with hybridization of frequency and period-based measurement. The Hybrid method is defined as paralleling the period and frequency then estimated the angular speed using sensor fusion with Kalman Filter. The experiment is doing by comparing of all method to get the best way in measuring. From the experimental showed that the Kalman filter parameter was fine tuned that resulting the sensor fusion or the mixed measurement between the frequency-based and the period based measure the angular speed accurately.

Abstract

2019 World Health Organization informed that the two-thirds of stroke patients have a permanent dissability. Disability disorders can affect performance or daily activities such as eating, drinking, wearing clothes, bathing, and others. Disability caused by stroke can be treated by exercising motor function and muscle strength. Studies in upper extremity rehabilitation report that the most important element in the disability recovery process is monitoring the progress of the rehabilitation itself. To monitor and evaluate upper arm rehabilitation, most therapists still rely on clinical assessments based on ordinal scales or charts and are only monitored in terms of the patient's upper arm movement. In this study, we will analyze the rehabilitation movement based on virtual reality games using the Absolute Trajectory Error and Hand Speed ​​Movement methods. While the rehabilitation movement used in this study will apply the Upper-limb Movement Sequence (UMS) method. 5 subjects contributed to data collection over three sessions and five iterations. Their movements were recorded using the Kinect Xbox V2 sensor with 10 Hz sampling data. Mean absolute trajectory error (ATE) and hand speed method were used to analyze arm movements during VR games. Although this study used healthy subjects, 80% of them experienced an increase in movement, and this condition was evidenced by a decrease in ATE values ​​in each session. Trajectory data can be used as the basis for analysis of arm movements during the VR game rehabilitation process, where with these data errors in hand position, hand speed to reach the target, and movement errors can be analyzed more deeply. Moreover, the mean ATE and hand speed movements can show the progress or changes in hand movement during the rehabilitation process clearly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan mengkaji kelayakan pembangunan pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) off-grid  dengan studi kasus di Masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo, Malang Selatan. Tujuan utama studi ini untuk mengatasi gangguan pemadaman listrik. Masjid ini memiliki beban utama seperti pompa air yang menyuplai air bersih untuk kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar. Metode penelitian meliputi survei lapangan, analisis beban, simulasi energi menggunakan perangkat lunak PVSyst, dan analisis ekonomi. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan kapasitas optimal PLTS sebesar 5,5 kWp dengan nilai performance ratio (PR) 0,54 dan solar fraction (SF) 0,92. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan biaya investasi awal sebesar Rp 115.700.000 dengan nilai net present value (NPV) sebesar Rp 59.412.192, payback period (PBP) 16,4 tahun, dan return on investment (ROI) sebesar 51,4% senilai dengan Rp 59.459.800,-. Semua nilai indikator tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan, sehingga hasil studi kelayakan pembangunan dikatakan layak untuk masuk dalam proses pembangunan. Kontruksi PLTS yang diusulkan menggunakan model carport dengan material kayu untuk menghindari fenomena korosi yang disebabkan oleh hembusan udara dari laut. Implementasi PLTS ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi biaya operasional listrik, mengurangi dampak pemadaman, mendukung transisi energi terbarukan, serta meningkatkan keandalan pasokan listrik.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2022, BUMDes Sidorejo Mandiri berdiri dengan mengelola beberapa unit usaha di bidang perikanan, pertanian, peternakan, wisata, dan ritel. Salah satu potensi utama desa terletak pada sektor perikanan terutama ikan lele dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan seluas 300m2. Untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan, pada tahun 2025 dibangun beberapa kolam terpal ikan lele dengan ukuran diameter 2m, kedalaman  1m. Rata-rata panen setiap siklus sebanyak 100 kg per siklus per kolam terpal (3 bulan), dengan tingkat mortalitas (kematian ikan) yang tinggi sebesar 30%. Berdasarlan hasil observasi, ada beberapa permasalahan yang menyebabkan tingkat kematian cukup tinggi antara lain  buruknya kualitas air dan tangka keasaman air. Program pengabdian ini menawarkan solusi berupa sistem smart aquaculture berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang terintegrasi dengan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) off-grid. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi, perancangan desain, pembuatan prototipe, pengujian, pemasangan, dan pelatihan. PLTS berkapasitas 1000 Wp dengan baterai 1200 Wh diterapkan untuk mendukung kemandirian energi. Implementasi sistem ini mampu menghasilkan panen ikan lele yang lebih banyak dengan waktu panen yang lebih singkat.
