Abstract

This study aims to determine the water quality in Lake Sipin based on the physical quality of the water, provide information on the distribution map of water quality based on the physical quality of the water and assess the management designation of Lake Sipin. Lake Sipin water is one of the sources of air used by the community for daily life. The quality of water in cultural activities is influenced by the life of the surrounding environment. Water quality has different quality standards for each designation, so it is important to monitor and evaluate water quality. The data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling and using the Storet method and the Stepwise test was carried out. The parameters observed in this study were temperature, TDS, TSS, turbidity and pH. Results Based on the research, the quality standard results for each parameter are within the water quality standard. Calculations using the Storet method of water quality get a value of -4, meaning that the water quality of Lake Sipin is in a lightly polluted status. relationship between parameters that have a relationship from the results of the stepwise test. TSS and TDS have a relationship with the value of R = 0.661 with the assumption that if the TSS value increases, the TDS value decreases. Turbidity and TSS have a relationship with the value of R = 0.731 with the assumption that the greater the value of Turbidity, the greater the TSS value. pH and TDS have a relationship with the value of R = 0.518 with the assumption that the smaller the pH value, the greater the TDS value. The status of the water quality in Lake Sipin meets the water quality standards, meaning that the water quality in Lake Sipin is still good. The distribution map for water quality has a variety of distributions. The water in the Sipin lake can still be used according to the water class classification based on observations of air physics parameters.

Abstract

Land as a limited natural resource can suffer damage and decrease productivity if it is not managed wisely. Land use of anarea affects the hydrology of the area, changing land use means changing the type and proportion of land cover which in turn affects its hydrological response. Incompatibility of land use can have an impact on decreasing land quality, so that it often resultsin floods, droughts, erosion which will reduce land productivity and community welfare. The equipment used in this researchare: (1) Computer with ArcGIS¬ 10.4 software, ArcSWAT version 2012.1_8 Microsoft Office 2013, SWAT Plot for calculating R2and NS values; (2) Global Positioning System (GPS); (3) Digital camera, stationery and external hard disk to store data.Planting with agroforestry patterns and the application of conservation techniques in the Batang Merao Hulu sub-watershedhave an effect on hydrological characteristics, this is indicated by the reduced runoff coefficient value before plantingagrofrestry with the application of conservation techniques from 0.4 to 0.09 and the flow regime coefficient from 48.49 m3/s to 17.18 m3/s. The best land management scenario is to carry out planting with agroforestry patterns and the application of conservation techniques in the form of mound terraces. This agroforestry pattern not only emphasizes the types of woodyplants and MPTs but also prioritizes local local plants which are the prima donna of the people of Kerinci Regency, namelycoffee and cinnamon, so that ecologically, the hydrological function of the watershed is maintained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur cadangan karbon berbasis NDVI dan hasil pengukuran biomassa di atas permukaan tanah serta untuk mendapatkan model pendugaan terbaik berbasis NDVI yang mendekati hasil survey biomassa untuk digunakan dalam penghitungan cadangan karbon selanjutnya. Untuk mendapatkan cadangan karbon berbasis NDVI dilakukan dengan memasukkan nilai Digital Number setiap pixel citra ke dalam model-model pendugaan yang ditentukan. Untuk survey biomassa dilakukan pada 50 plot ukur berukuran 20 x 20 meter dan diambil informasi vegetasi pada tingkat pohon, tiang dan pancang, yang kemudian dilakukan pendugaan biomassa menggunakan persamaan allometrik yang telah disusun oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Untuk penentuan model terbaik dilakukan analisis statistik terhadap hasil dugaan karbon melalui survey biomassa dengan hasil dugaan karbon menggunakan model-model pendugaan berbasis NDVI. Penentuan model terbaik dilakukan melalui analisis statistik berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinan (R2) dan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) paling rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah cadangan karbon di kawasan TNBD hasil analisis menggunakan 7 model NDVI secara berurutan yaitu sebesar 1,32 Ton/Ha; 314, 66 Ton/Ha; 907,25 Ton/Ha; 55,49 Ton/Ha; 2.376,97 Ton/Ha; 154,99 Ton/Ha; dan 252,36Ton/Ha.
