Abstract

Abstract : The Role Department of Cooperative and UKM in the empowerment of small and medium businesses in Malang. The role of Department of Cooperatives and UKM Malang one of which is to empower the UKM in the city of Malang has been set out in the RENSTRA of Department of Cooperatives and UKM Malang. the efforts made by the Department of Cooperatives and UKM Malang expected to promote the establishment of UKM as an economic power that can increase the welfare of society. The purpose of this study is to describe the empowerment of UKM and factors supporting and inhibiting. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with focus issues: (1) empowerment of UKM, (2) factors supporting and inhibiting. Result of this research is the In empowerment of UKM in Malang does not maximum yet and spread well because The Department of Cooperatives and UKM Malang does not have the valid data about the number of UKM in Malang with factors supporting and inhibiting. The advice given is the Department of Cooperatives and UKM Malang encoding to all of the UKM  in Malang. Peranan dari Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Malang salah satunya adalah melakukan pemberdayaan pada UKM di Kota Malang yang telah tertuang dalam RENSTRA Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Malang. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Malang diharapkan untuk mendorong terwujudnya UKM sebagai kekuatan perekonomian yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masayarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan pelaksanaan pemberdayaan UKM serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambatnya.  Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Fokus permsalahan penelitian ini adalah (1) pelaksanaan pemberdayaan UKM (2) faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemberdayaan yang dilakukan belum maksimal dan merata karena data jumlah UKM belum valid dengan faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Saran yang diberikan adalah Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Malang melakukan pendataan terhadap semua UKM yang ada di Malang. Abstract

Fruits and vegetables have a variety of benefits for the body. Unfortunately it is rarely consumed by the majority people in Indonesia especially adolescents category. According to those cases, the objective of this research is knowing the correlation of economic status with fruit, vegetable consumption and nutrition knowledge toward the nutritional status of students in junior high school of urban and sub-urban at Banjarbaru in the year 2014. This research uses an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. This research takes 135 respondents as the sample. Based on the result of statistics testing (mann-whithney statistics testing) shows that there is difference in economic status in Junior High School of urban and sub-urban (p value =0,025, there is difference in fruit consumption in Junior High School of urban and sub-urban (p value =0,022), there is difference in vegetable consumption in Junior High School of urban and sub-urban (p value =0,028), there is no difference in knowledge in Junior High School of urban and sub-urban (p value =0,059) ), there is no difference in nutrition in Junior High School of urban and sub-urban (p value =0,071). The result of statistic testing by using Chi-Square shows that there is a correlation of economic status and fruit consumption (p value =0,000), correlation of economic status and vegetable consumption (p value =0,000), correlation of economic status and nutritional knowledge (p value =0,000), correlation of fruit consumption and nutrition status (p value =0,000), correlation of vegetable consumption and nutrition status (p value =0,000) and correlation of nutritional knowlledge and nutritional status (p value =0,000).
