Abstract

The research was conducted on the Social Service Employees Dumai City with theaim to analyze the influence of variables on the performance ability andmotivation of Social Service Employees Dumai City. The purpose of this studywas to determine the to determine the influence of ability and motivation on theSocial Service Employee Dumai City’s performance.Sampling was carried by census method with the whole population asrespondents, 23 peoples. Analytical methods used are qualitative descriptivemethods, and techniques of data collection is done by using interviews andquestionaires to the overall respondents.From the results obtained that motivation variable was the most dominant factor,with an average at 3,98 which is more higher than the average rate of capacityvariable at 3,64. The recommendation can be given by the author is Dumai CitySocial Service Agency should give more attention to the work ability of employeeby improving the implementation of technical training and the motivation ofemployee should be considered and demand more productivity so that any job isdone maximally, and also the evaluation of employee should be done closely togive more higher performance quality of the employee.Kata Kunci : Ability, Motivation and Employee’s performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education and training on employee performance partially Mechanical Section at PT. Intraco Penta Cabang Pekanbaru. To determine the effect of motivation on employee performance partially Mechanical Section at PT. Intraco Penta Cabang Pekanbaru. To determine the effect of education and training and motivation on employee performance simultaneously Mechanical Section at PT. Intraco Penta Cabang Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Intraco Penta Cabang Pekanbaru, whose work on quantum mechanics. Because in this study, the authors focused only mechanic training in improving mechanical performance. The number of employees who work on quantum mechanics in 2012 as many as 80 people. For this study the policy, then the sampling done by the census. Thus, the entire population sampled in this study. The method used is multiple linear regression. Results reveal that for education and training variables partially significant effect on employee performance is obtained because a significant level of 0.001> 0.005. This shows the value of t> t table (2.743> 2.03), then Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. This means that the education and training of a significant effect on employee performance. The results of the study for partial motivation variables significantly influence employee performance because significant levels obtained for 0,000> 0,005. This shows the value of t> t table (3.765> 2.03), then Ho is reject and Hi is accepted. That is the motivation significant effect on employee performance. From the test results are known regression calculation of F values obtained at 25.2544 with a significant level of 0.000 with (α) of 5% and Ftable worth 3.1504. This shows the value of F> F (25.254> 3.1504), then Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. This means that at the same time, the variable education and training, motivation significant effect on employee performance. With the education and training, and motivation to improve employee performance.Keywords: Education and Training, Motivation, Performance

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the national and regional economy occupy a strategic position. This is because the 10 subdistricts have a very significant contribution in providing employment opportunities and employment, expanding business opportunities and equity, and are a source of income for most people. Thus, the development of UMKM is a necessity in the framework of improving the people's economy, acceleration and growth as well as improving the regional economy. UMKM cover almost all sectors/sub-sectors of the regional economy. In each sector/sub-sector of the economy includes commodities, products or types of businesses that are very diverse. In order to further enhance the effectiveness of coaching for the development of UMKM, it is necessary to focus on the commodity, product or type of business that is featured, so that the fostering and development program becomes more focused. Thus the Government can prioritize economic policies through the development of featured products in an area as an effort to create jobs and improve community welfare in order to reduce the number/level of poverty in the area. In the end, it is expected to increase local economic growth and be able to become a commodity that has export value

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality and price on purchase decisions for Zoya brand halal cosmetics in Pekanbaru, using halal labels as a moderating variable. The population in this study are consumers who have purchased and used Zoya cosmetics and are domiciled in the city of Pekanbaru. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, with a total sample of 128 respondents. This study uses structural equation modeling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS) in analyzing the data. The results showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Price has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. As a moderating variable, the halal label strengthens the positive relationship between product quality and purchase decisions. Furthermore, the halal label acts as a moderator, weakening the negative relationship between price and purchase decision
