Abstract

Budidaya kubis bunga di Kalimantan Selatan mengalami penurunan produktivitas disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya kurangnya pemanfaatan unsur hara organik dalam teknik budidaya. Penggunaan pupuk organik seperti pupuk kandang kotoran ayam mempunyai peran penting bagi perbaikan mutu dan sifat tanah diantaranya memperbaiki struktur tanah berpasir. Selain pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran ayam sebagai bahan organik, penambahan EM4 juga merupakan bakteri fermentasi bahan organik yang menyuburkan tanaman dan menyehatkan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan (i) mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga terhadap kombinasi pupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan EM4, (ii) mendapatkan kombinasi terbaik dosis pupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan konsentrasi EM4 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tayur Kecamatan Amuntai Utara Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2021, mengggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal. Faktor yang diteliti adalah e1 = pupuk kandang kotoran ayam 25 ton/ha, e2 = pupuk kandang kotoran ayam 25 ton/ha + 10 ml/l EM4, e3 = pupuk kandang kotoran ayam 30 ton/ha + 15 ml/l EM4, e4 = kandang kotoran ayam 35 ton/ha + 25 ml/l EM4. Peubah yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, umur panen, berat krop bunga dan keliling krop bunga.hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan pemberian kombinasi dosis pupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan konsentrasi EM4 berpengaruh sangat nyata pada peubah tinggi tanaman umur 28 HST, berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun umur 21 dan 28 HST, namun tidak tidak berpengaruh terhadap peubah tinggi tanaman 14 dan 21 HST, jumlah daun 14 HST, umur saat berbunga, umur panen, berat krop dan keliling krop.

Abstract

Lettuce plants in the process of growth and development require additional nutrients by repair Techniques for cultivation and repair of organic or inorganic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are also called natural fertilizers because all or most of them come from natural fertilizers. This study aims to (i) find out the effect of giving dung manure to the growth and yield of lettuce on swampy soil, (ii) get the best dose from the administration of duck manure to the growth and yield of lettuce on swampy swamp soil. This research was conducted in Hambuku Tengah Village, Sungai Pandan District from April to June 2010. Using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The factors studied were 9 doses of duck manure fertilizer dosage with 9 treatments, there are b0 = 0 t.ha-1; b1 = 2,5 t.ha-1; b2 = 5,0 t.ha-1; b3 = 7,5 t.ha-1; b4 = 10 t.ha-1 ; b5 = 12,5 t.ha-1; b6 = 15,0 t.ha-1; b7 = 17,5 t.ha-1; b8 = 20,0 t.ha-1 with 3 replications, thus there were 27 experimental units. The observed variables were plant height and number of leaves aged 14, 21, 28 and 35 days after planting (DAP) and leaf wet weight at harvest. From the results of the study there was a response of tall mustard plants aged 28 HST and wet weight of mustard plants but there was no response to the height of mustard plants aged 14, 21 and 35 HST on the administration of duck manure, with the best dose was treatment b4 (10 t.ha -1)

Abstract

Yellow red podsolic soil has the potential for crop cultivation. The problems faced in the development of plant cultivation on yellow red podsolic land are very low pH and nutrient poor. The purpose of this study was (i) to know the effect of giving cow urine liquid fertilizer to the growth and yield of cucumber plants on yellow red podsolic land (ii) to obtain the best dose of cow urine liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants on red yellow podzolic fields. The study was conducted in Mantimin Village, Batu Mandi Subdistrict, Balangan Regency in June - July 2011. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 5 treatments and 4 replications, so that all of them were 20 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 4 plants. Factors are tested for cow urine liquid dosage, u0 = 0 cc / liter of water / plot, u1 = 25 cc of water per plot, u2 = 50 cc / liter of water / plot, u3 = 75 cc / liter of water / plot, and u4 = 100 cc / liter of water / plot. The results showed that the treatment of doses of cow urine fertilizer significantly affected plant height variables aged 14 days after planting (HST), number of leaves aged 14 HST, number of branches, age of plants at flowering, number of fruit crops and weight of fruit at the best dose is 100 cc / liter of water / plot (u4) and does not show any influence on plant height at 28 HST.

Abstract

Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are loaded with vitamin A, B and Can important source of vegetable. Problems faced in the development of crop farming on the land podzolic very low pH and nutrient poor. This study aims to (i) determine the effect of cow urine liquid fertilizer on the land podsolic on growt hand yield of beans, (ii) get adose of liquid fertilizer of cow urine is best for the growt hand yield of chick peain podzolic land. The research was conducted in Pantai Hambawang Timur Village Labuan Amas Selatan District Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, June-July 2014, this study uses randomized block design (RBD), with 5 treatments and 4 replications, so we get 20 units of the experiment, and each treatment there 4 plants. The factors tested are liquid fertilizer of cow urine, namely: t0 = 0 cc.ℓ-1 per map, t1 = 35 cc.ℓ-1 per map, t2 = 45 cc.ℓ-1 per map, t3 = 55 cc. ℓ-1 per map, t4 = 65 cc.ℓ-1 per map. The results of this study indicate. That treatment doses of liquid fertilizer of cow urine significantly affect thelength of the plant ages 15, 25 and 35 DAP, number of pods and pod weight of cropat a dose of 65 cc perlite r of water perplot (t4). So the bean plants can be grown on land podzolic when treated with optimal doses of liquid fertilizer of cow urine according to his research, by using a dose of 65 cc.ℓ-1 per map

Abstract

Utilization of insect diversity is useful in overcoming pest in the field, by using parasitoids and predators to control pests, can prevent the use of toxic chemicals in the field, while providing a safe haven for other species to live and play its role in maintaining the health of the ecosystem. Insect diversity in South Kalimantan, especially paddy fields in swampy areas largely unknown, and therefore need to be examined. The aim of this study is to identify and assess the diversity of natural enemies in paddy crop in swampy areas, especially in the three villages in the district of Sungai Pandan, Hulu Sungai Utara. This study was conducted from February - June 2015. The method used in this research is survey method with direct observation with an area of rice fields has been determined, and sampling arthropod natural enemies by using a swinging nets, water traps and light traps. Results from this study are: (1) The number of arthropod natural enemies found in shallow swamps is 20 species from seven orders, mid swamps and in each of the 16 species of seven orders; (2) The highest predator arthropod population in the shallow swamp area is Micraspis sp., The middle swamp is Paederus fuscipes, and the deep swamp is Micraspis sp. ; and (3) the diversity index of natural enemies of arthropods on the third mainland is low

Abstract

Peanut plants are the second most important leguminous plants after soybeans in Indonesia. The growth and yield of peanut plants on podsolic land are not good, the problem of podsolic soil is acidic soil reaction, high Al content, low nutrient content, so it needs liming and fertilization and good management so that the soil becomes productive and not damaged. Biofertilizer is an alternative use of fertilizer. This research was carried out on podsolic land in Banua Tinggal Village, Labuan Amas Selatan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, which began from April to July 2017. The study aimed to (i) determine the response of growth and yield of peanuts to the provision of biological fertilizers on podsolic land and ) get the best dosage of biofertilizer for growth and yield of peanuts on podsolic fields. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments and six groups so that there were 24 experimental units. Provision of biological fertilizer is (h0) 0 t.ha-1 = 0 kg. plot-1, (h1) 50 t.ha-1 = 7.5 kg.plot-1, (h2) 70 t.ha-1 = 10.5 kg.plot-1, (h3) 90 t.ha-1 = 13.5 kg.plot-1. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, age stem diameter at flowering, number of plant pods, wet weight of plant pods, and weight of 100 dry seeds. The results showed that the administration of biofertilizer affected the growth and yield of peanut plants and treatment (h3) 90 t.ha-1 = 13.5 kg.plot-1 was the best treatment for the growth and yield of peanut plants.

Abstract

Corn feed is one animal feed that has many advantages, as corn feed is used for metabolic energy sources. Podsolic land is a land with very low nutrient value. This study aims to (i) determine the effect of various doses, and two types of guano interactions, (ii) determine the effect of various doses of guano, (iii) find out influence of two types of guano, (iv) get the best interaction, (v) get the best dose, (vi) get the best type of guano in the cultivation of corn feed in podsolic land. This research was conducted in Hawang Village, Limpasu District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, from March to June 2018. They are using Group Random Design (GRD) Factorial 2 factors. The first factor is various doses of guano with five levels: d1 = 1.5 kg. plot-1, d2 = 3 kg. plot-1, d3 = 4.5 kg. plot-1, d4 = 6 kg. plot-1, d5 = 7.5 kg. plot-1. The second factor is two types of guano with two levels: g1 = bat guano, g2 = swallow guano. The results showed that the interaction between various doses and two types of guano had no effect on growth and yield, except that the effect was very significant on long cob weighted, whereas a single factor of various doses had significant and very real effect on all observation variables and the factor of two types of guano had no effect on all variables. Except for significant effect on plant height growth at the age of 56 HST.

Abstract

Along with the increasing demand for palm oil has the world's population, it is necessary to think about efforts to increase the quality and quantity of palm oil production. One of the factors such as planting material in the form of seeds, it is necessary to act technical culture or good seed treatment. Oil palm seedlings can be done in two stages: initial seeding (prenursery) and moved at the age of 2.5-3 months when they fulfill the criteria nursery ready to move to the main (main nursery). This study aims to (i) determine the speed of growth of oil palm seeds and, (ii) obtain the best type of soil for growing speed of oil palm seeds in two places making swampy marshland. The research was conducted in the Pangkalan Sari Village, Sungai Pandan Sub-district, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency in July-August 2013, using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor. Factors studied were two lebak wetland of origin of uptake (T) as much as two levels and repeated nine times. The results showed that the two treatments had no effect lebak wetlands on many shoots observation variables age 14 and 28 days after seeding(DAS), the amount of leafage of 14 DAS, seedling height 14 DAS, and significant observations on many variables shoots the age of 42 DAS, number of leaves age 28 and 42 DAS, and a very significant effect on seedling height observation variables age 28 and 42 DAS.

Abstract

Dragon fruit is one of the cactus plants which is quite popular because of its sweet taste and unique and interesting shape. Propagation of dragon fruit seeds is usually done by cuttings and one of the problems in the supply of dragon fruit seeds is the planting medium. This study aims to determine (i) the effect of the interaction of various cuttings lengths and composition of the planting medium, (ii) the effect of various lengths of cuttings, (iii) the influence of various plant media compositions, (iv) the best interactions between various cuttings and composition of planting media, (v ) the best length of cuttings and (vi) the best media composition in dragon fruit cultivation. This study was conducted in Haur Gading Village, Batang Alai Utara District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency from May-August 2018, using Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) 2 factors. The first factor is the length of cuttings with 4 levels: p1 = 35 cm, p2 = 40 cm, p3 = 45 cm, p4 = 50 cm. The second factor is the composition of the planting medium with 3 levels: k1 = 1.5 kg of soil: 0.0 kg wallet dirt fertilizer: 1.5 kg of sand, k2 = 1.0 kg of soil: 1.0 kg of wallet dirt fertilizer: 1, 0 kg of sand, k3 = 0.5 kg of soil: 1.5 kg wallet dirt fertilizer: 1.5 kg of sand. The results showed that the interaction of the length of cuttings with the composition of the planting medium had no effect on growth, while the single length factor of the cuttings had no effect on all observation variables except the shoot length had a significant effect on week 12 WAP and the composition of planting media influenced the growth of dragon fruit seeds.

Abstract

The quality and yield of cabbage can be improved through fertilization, one of which is duck manure as an alternative fertilizer and the addition of husk ash to get optimal results in the lebak wetland. This study aims to determine the doses of dung manure on the growth and yield of cabbage plants. This research was conducted in May-August 2018, located in Teluk Sarikat Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single factor consisting of 5 levels with five treatments. The factors tested were dung manure doses. Observation data were analyzed by variance and DMRT follow-up at 5% level. The results showed that dosing manure with various doses had an affect plant height and several number of leaves but did not affect the weight of the cabbage crop and around the cabbage crop. The best dose of duck manure for the growth of cabbage plants is 10 tons. Ha-1 equivalent to 40 g / polybag (k1).
