Abstract

Cultivation of peanut plants in lebak wetlands is constrained by inundated land and the fertility of varied soil, from fertile to nutrient-poor levels. Poor soil nutrients can not only be overcome by fertilizing, for example with manure chicken manure. The availability of nutrients in the land can be improved by providing ameliorats such as rice husk ash. This study aims to determine the effect of (i) the interaction of chicken manure manure and rice husk ash, (ii) the single factor of chicken manure manure, (iii) the single factor of rice husk ash, (iv) getting the best dose of chicken manure manure, ( v) the best dose of rice husk ash and (vi) the best interaction of manure chicken manure and rice husk ash on lebak wetland. The study was conducted in the village of Teluk Betung, Sungai Pandan Subdistrict, HSU Regency in February - May 2019. It was using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors. The first factor: the dose of chicken manure, consisting of 3 levels, namely a1 = 12 tons. ha-1, a2 = 16 tons. ha-1, a3 = 20 tons. ha-1. The second factor: the dose of rice husk ash, consisting of 3 levels, namely s1 = 24 tons.ha-1, s2 = 28 tons.ha-1, s3 = 32 tons.ha-1. The results showed that the interaction between chicken manure had no effect on growth and yield, the single factor of chicken manure had an effect on growth and yield but had no effect on the number of leaves, and the single factor of rice husk ash did not affect growth and yield but had an effect on age flowering.

Abstract

Lettuce is a type of green leafy vegetable that has many benefits and a good source of vitamins. DFT hydroponics is plant cultivation without using soil. Cocopeat and hydroton are hydroponic growing media. This study aims to (i)determine the effect of various compositions of the DFT hydroponic growing media on growth and yield of lettuce (ii) obtaining the best composition of the DFT hydroponic planting media on growth and yield of lettuce. This study was conducted in Rica Village, Paringin District, Balangan Regency from February to April 2019. This study used a Randomized Design Group (RDG)single factor. The factors observed were the composition of the hydroponic planting media of the DFT system (m) by as much as 5 degrees of consisting of m1 = 100% cocopeat: 0% hydroton (100 g cocopeat: 0 g hydroton), m2 = 0% cocopeat: 100% hydroton (0 g cocopeat: 100 g hydroton) , m3 = 50% cocopeat: 50% hydroton (50 g cocopeat: 50 g hydroton), m4 = 75% cocopeat: 25% hydroton (75 g cocopeat: 25 g hydroton), m5 = 25% cocopeat: 75% hydroton (25 g cocopeat: 75 g hydroton). The results showed that the treatment of the composition of the hydroponic growing media had a very significant effect on plant height 14,21,28 and 35 HST, the effect was very significant on the number of leaves 7,21,28 and 35 HST, significantly affected the wet weight of the plant. The best treatment is obtained at m5 = 25% cocopeat: 75% hydroton (25 g cocopeat: 75 g hydroton).

Abstract

Alabio’s yam (Dioscorea alata L.) is a potential carbohydrate source that can be developed to meet food needs, especially in swamps and in dry areas. The use of organic fertilizers is believed to bring more benefits to agricultural production. Bokashi water hyacinth is compost which contains humic acid which can increase seed germination, stimulate plant growth, increase soil fertility, increase yield and produce phytohormone compounds that can accelerate root growth. This study aims to (i) determine the effect of adding water hyacinth bokashi to vegetative and generative performance of alabio sweet potatoes on lebak swamp and (ii) to obtain the best dose of bokashi water hyacinth on vegetative and generative performance of sweet alabio on lebak swamp. This research was conducted in Sungai Tabukan Village, Sungai Tabukan Sub-District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from May to November 2018. This study used a single randomized block design (RBD). The factors studied were various doses of water hyacinth bokashi consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely e0 = 0 kg, e1 = 1 kg, e2 = 2 kg and e3 = 3 kg. The results showed that the addition of water hyacinth bokashi had an effect on the vegetative performance of plants on plant height and number of leaves, not affecting the stem diameter. The e3 treatment (3 kg) is the best dose for the vegetative period of alabio’s yams. As for the generative performance, the addition of water hyacinth bokashi has no effect.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper beneficial for humans because it contains protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C and minerals. Cow dung manure is a fertilizer that is derived from the cattle shed, either in the form of solid feces and urine mixed food scraps, manure cow manure composed of a mix of 0.5% N, 0.25% P, 0.5% K. The purpose of the study these are (1) study the response of the growth and yield of cayenne pepper on the application of cow dung manure in swampy wetlands, (2) determine the dose best cow dung manure on growth and yield of rawit chil cayenne pepper i in swampy wetlands. This research was conducted in the village of Teluk Sarikat Banjang District of Hulu Sungai Utara from May to August 2014, using a randomized block design with 6 treatments and 4 groups. The treatment consisted of (p0) 0 ton.ha-1 (p1) 10 ton.ha-1 (p2) 20 ton.ha-1 (p3) 40 ton.ha-1, (p4) 40 ton.ha-1, (p5) 50 ton.ha-1. The results showed that the application of cow dung manure real impact on the number of branches, number of pieces, weight of the fruit crop in the ground cayenne pepper in swampy wetlands. Dose best cow dung manure in this study was 20 ton.ha-1 is equivalent to 80 g.polybag-1 (p2).

Abstract

Cabbage Flowers is one of the vegetable crops that have high commercial value and prospects in Indonesia, because these plants have a central role as meeting the needs of food, feed and the domestic industry. To improve the quality and yield of couliflower are some things to consider include the supply of nitrients to the plants throug fertilization, one cow urine as an organic liquid fertilizer as solutions and alternatives to obtain optimal results in podsolic land. This study aims to determine the concentration of liquid fertilizer of cow urine on the growht and yield of couliflower. The research was conducted from March to June 2017, housed in the Village Hariang Banua Lawas Distric of Tabalong. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single faktor consisting of 6 level with 4 group. Faktor to be examined is the concentration of liquid fertilizer of cow urine consists of : : 5 cc.l-1 (u1), 10 cc.l-1 (u2), 15 cc.l-1 (u3),  20 cc.l-1 (u4),  25 cc.l-1 (u5), dan 30 cc.l-1 (u6). The results showed liquid fertilizer of cow urine with various concentration has no effect on the observed variables that plant height, leaf number, age of the plant during flowering, severe fresh crop planting and perimeter planting flowers.
