Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics on employee loyalty of PT. Bank SUMUT, Sukaramai Medan branch, partially to find out whether incentive support moderates the effect of job characteristics on employee loyalty at PT. Bank SUMUT, Sukaramai Medan Branch.  The population in this study amounted to 156 people, and using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 112 people. Measurement of variables using a Likert scale from strongly agree (score 4) to strongly disagree (score 1).  The data were analyzed by using statistical techniques such as validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA), classical assumption test, model test (F test), partial test (t-test) and test coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study showed that job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty of PT. Bank SUMUT, Sukaramai Medan Branch.  Incentives has no effect on employee loyalty of PT. Bank SUMUT, Sukaramai Medan Branch.  Providing incentives is not proven to moderate job characteristics towards employee loyalty at PT. Bank SUMUT, Sukaramai Medan Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to determine work conflict and workload on work stres with a non-physical work environment as a moderating variable in the North Sumatra Education Office. The design of this research is to test regression with moderating variables by using an interaction test or often called Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) or interaction test is a special application of linear multiple regression where the regression equation contains an interaction element (multiplication of two or more independent variables). In this study, the entire population was opened by 115 employees, while the sample was 95 employees at the North Sumatra Education Office. The results of this study indicate that the variables of work conflict and workload have a significant effect on work stres. Non-physical work environment variables as moderating variables that can strengthen the effect of work conflict and workload on work stres.
