Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality of work-life and teamwork on the performance of employees of PT Rajawali Properti Mandiri Medan. To find out whether the effectiveness of communication moderates the effect of quality of work-life and teamwork on employee performance at PT Rajawali Properti Mandiri Medan. The total population in this study amounted to 116 people, and by using a saturated sampling technique, a sample of 116 people was obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and residual MRA technique. The results showed that the quality of work-life had a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT Rajawali Properti Mandiri Medan. Teamwork affects employee performance at PT Rajawali Properti Mandiri Medan. The effectiveness of communication proved significant in moderating the quality of work-life on employee performance and the effectiveness of communication proved significant in moderating teamwork on employee performance.

Abstract

Worker performance is volatile and does not just appear. Good worker performance is stimulated by various organizational and individual factors. The research objectives to analyze the impact of serv- ant leadership on worker performance mediated by the quality of work-life and moderated by work engagement. This research is an explanatory type. All staff of PT Alamjaya Wirasentosa as many as 134 people became the population and sample. Saturated sampling are used in determining the re- search sample. The analytical technique used causal step mediation test and the absolute difference value moderating test. The results prove that servant leadership has a significant positive impact on employee engagement mediated by the quality of work-life. Servant leadership has a significant nega- tive impact on employee engagement moderated by work engagement. In this case, work engage- ment weakens the impact of servant leadership on worker performance. Further research needs to be done on a larger sample size by exploring variables that can strengthen the influence of servant leadership in improving employee performance to contribute to the organization’s competitive ad- vantage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Altruism, Conscientiouness, Sportmanship, Courtessy, Civic Virtue, on Organizational Performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra, Medan. This study uses primary data obtained directly from the data source through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews to employees of PT Bank Sumut Tbk Medan. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the SPSS program. The population in this study amounted to 157 people, with a sample of 61 respondents. The results showed that altruism had no influence on organizational performance. Conscientiouness has no influence on. organizational performance on employees. Sportmanships has a significant effect on organizational performance. Courtessy has a significant effect on organizational performance. Civivvirtue has no influence on organizational performance. R2 value of 0.943 means that the ability of altruism, conscientiouness, sportmanships, courtesy, and civiv virtue in explaining organizational performance is 94.3% while the remaining 5.7% is explained by other variables not included in this research model such as organizational commitment .

Abstract

This Study aims to describe the performance of female employees in the Medan banking sector in terms of work family conflict and job satisfaction. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers used the distribution of questionnaires (questionaire) and in-depth interviews (indepth interview) with employees, especially women in the banking sector in the city of Medan. The researcher spreads the list of questions (questionaire) directly to the employees. The population in this study were female employees who worked in the banking sector of the city of Medan. The research sample amounted to 100 people. This research is a quantitative and qualitative descriptive study. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis through path analysis. The results showed that (1) Work Family Conflict had a significant positive effect on Employee Performance, (2) Work Family Conflict had a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction, (3) Job Satisfaction mediated Work Family Conflict on Employee Performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by knowledge management that is notoptimal for each individual or organization, namely on employee performancewhere there are some employees who have not implemented knowledge management at PTPN III Medan, such as a lack of knowledge to manage information in the organization, so that employees in sharing knowledge between employees is not optimal. This study aims to determine whether knowledge management has an effect on competitive advantage. To find out whether knowledge management and competitive advantage partially affect employee performance, to find out whether knowledge management affects employee performance through competitive advantage. The total population in this study was 685 people and 103 were sampled by taking 15% of the total population. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that knowledge management had an effect on competitive advantage, knowledge management had a significant effect on employee performance, competitive advantage had no effect on employee performance, knowledge management had no effect on employee performance through competitive advantage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT. Sucofindo yang merupakan perusahaan swasta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh diberikan oleh sistem ker ja dan careerpath terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan di mediasi oleh komitmen organisasi. Populasi adalah pegawai yang bekerja di perusahaan sebanyak 100 pegawai yang terbagi atas lima divisi, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan sampel jenuh sehingga jumla sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Sumber data menggunakan data primer dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasidan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, analisis jalur,regresi linear berganda, uji hipotesis dan uji Sobel Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial sistem kerja dan career path masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadapkomitmen organisasi dan juga pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, komitmenorganisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan, sistem kerja, career path dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen organisasi tidak memediasi pengaruh sistem kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan komitmen organisasi memediasi pengaruh career path terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Sucofindo. Korelasi antara sistem kerja, career path dan komitmen organisasi sangat kuat terhadapkinerja, dan besarnya persentasese besar 74,3% dan sisanya 25,7% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar lingkup penelitian yang tidak dilakukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi komunikasi dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan budaya organisasi sebagai variabel mediasi pada Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan bagian pada Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang berjumlah 558 orang dan 234 responden sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan proportionated stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi komunikasi dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Variabel budaya organisasi memediasi hubungan antara kompetensi komunikasi dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja karyawan. Saran penelitian ini adalah harapan agar Dinas Bina Marga Dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sumatera Utara dapat lebih meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi dan menerapkan kecerdasan emosional dengan lebih baik dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rasa lebih bersahabat dan budaya organisasi yang lebih ramah dan tegas pada diri masing-masing karyawan karena ketiga variabel tersebut mempunyai pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap peningkatankinerja karyawan pada Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

This Research is based on the high operational costs incurred by the company in carrying out business activities so that PT. Pacific Medan Industri need to make efficiency. This directly puts pressure on employees. Excessive workloads and poor communication between leaders and employees cause work stress which results in the desire of employees to leave the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workoverload on work stress and turnover intention through leadership support as a moderating variable at PT. Pacific Medan Industri.This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with regression methods, single test and MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis). The data used are primary data obtained through questionnaires to 105 respondents. Based on the test result, it was found that work overload had no significant effect on work stress, work overload had a significant positive effect on turnover in intention, work stress mediated work overload on turnover intention and leadersip support doesn’t moderated work stress on turnover intention

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine how the influence of the quality of training on employee performance through emotional intelligence at the Belawan Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office. The type of research used in this research is quantitative, the approach used is causality and inferential. The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents. This study uses path analysis techniques with the help of SPSS 23. Based on the tests carried out, the training variable is able to affect emotional intelligence by 17.7% and 82.3% is explained by other variables or factors. While the quality of training, emotional intelligence affects employee performance by 45.6%, the remaining 54.4% is explained by other variables or factors. The quality of training has a significant effect on emotional intelligence. The quality of training has a significant effect on employee performance. Emotional intelligence has a significant effect on employee performance. The quality of training and emotional intelligence together or have a significant effect on employee performance. Abstraksi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kualitas pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kecerdasan emosional pada Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai Tipe Madya Pabean Belawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif, pendekatan yang digunakan ialah kausalitas serta inferensial. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan bantuan SPSS 23. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, variabel kualitas pelatihan mampu memengaruhi kecerdasan emosional sebesar 17,7% sisanya sebesar 82,3% dijelaskan oleh variabel atau faktor lainnya. Sementara variabel kualitas pelatihan, kecerdasan emosional mampu memengaruhi kinerja pegawai sebesar 45,6% sisanya sebesar 54,4% dijelaskan oleh variabel atau faktor lainnya. Kualitas pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Kualitas pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kualitas pelatihan dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.
