Abstract

Stress, fear and anxiety are the factors which having contribution of pain perseption those influence labor process and birth experience.Birth ball is not only a non farmacological pain relief but also increasing emotional and psychlogical care. Self effiacy is a belief or an abiity to exert her ability to pass adversity in labor process. These is an important aspect which influence women motivation to make birth normally. It was quasi–experiment research. Treatment group was given birth ball exercise since 32 weeks of gestation until before labor process.Research period is from june until october 2014 at 5 (five) privat  midwife's private clinic and used consecutive sampling. The research analysis used t-independent to compare self efficacy level on control and treatment group that was taken at first self efficacy test. It also used t-independet on those group to compare self efficacy level at second test. In conclusion, there was influence of birth ball exercise to self efficacy of primiparous with normal labor, there was no difference on self efficacy level at 4 cm cervic dilatation on both groups, also there was 6.48 point of self efficacy level increase at 4 cm and 8 cm cervic dilatation after doing birth ball exercise. Birth ball exercise shoud be done since third trimester of pregnancy, which can be held integrated in antenatal class. There shoud be variety at physic exercise facility for pregnant woman and parturient at health services.

Abstract

Every month women aged 12-49 years, not pregnant and not yet experienced menopause has menstruation. During this period, problems experienced by many women are discomfort or pain. Dysmenorrhoea resulted absenteism and cause disadvantages, due to a temporary "paralysis" while doing activities. The autonomic nervous system function changes during the luteal phase of the menstrual period, is associated with psychosomatic symptoms in the menstrual phase. A preventive alternative to improve women's health is by doing yoga. Yoga provides benefits to physical and mental health through the regulation of the HPA axis (Hypothalamus Pituitary Adrenal) and the Sympathetic Nervous System, increasing parasympathetic activity, lowering blood pressure, stress and anxiety levels. The physical movements of yoga stimulates, strengthens the body and improve blood circulations. Pelvic organs, perineal muscles and pelvic become healthier, get oxygen, so that the vascularization toward the reproductive organs become optimal. The purpose of this research is to know effect of Yoga to vital sign and anxiety level in girl adolescent menstrual cycle. The study was a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. This research was carried at the Bandung Midwifery Department, to the student girls. Intervention in the form of Yoga was held in May-July 2015. A number of 121 people were taken as a sample using a stratified random sampling technique based on student level and inclusion criteria and 58 people selected by inclusion criteria, which were randomly assigned to yoga and exercise. Vital signs were measured directly and anxiety level using questionnaires. The results showed that reduction in diastolic pressure occurs more frequently in the exercise group, amounting 4.50 while yoga at 0.55. In the yoga group decreased pulse frequency which is equal to 1.83. Anxiety scores decreased more in the yoga group, the reduction in anxiety scores in the amount of 13.5 points. In conclusions there was no significant effect of yoga exercises to systolic pressure, diastolic, pulse and respiration. Yoga can significantly reduce the level of girls anxiety during menstruation (p 0.05).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Population is the basic capital and dominant factor of development that must be the central point in sustainable development. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and control population impacts such as maternal and infant mortality due to pregnancy at a young age, through access to relevant information for adolescents with health promotion regarding Maturation of Marriage Age (PUP). Modification of PIK R based on counseling SMS and SMS remainder through the Adolescent Mobile Health (AdeM Health) program as a model for acceptance of the PUP concept by peer groups is expected to be a leverage for adolescents to increase knowledge and attitudes about PUP. This study aims to determine the effect through the Adolescent Mobile Health (AdeM Health) program on the acceptance of the PUP concept in peer groups in Central Bengkulu Regency in 2019. Research design quasi-experimental pre and post test without a control group. The intervention is in the form of adolescent health promotion through the acceptance model of the PUP concept with the AdeM Health Program in peer groups. The sample of this research is Junior High School Students in Central Bengkulu Regency. The results of the study found that there was an effect of the PUP acceptance model through peer counselors on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents, there was a PUP acceptance model through the AdeM Health program that was more effective in increasing adolescent knowledge and attitudes than the approach using peer counselors. The development of a model of acceptance of the PUP concept is more effective when using the approach of peer counselors and AdeM Health. Keywords: Adolescents, PUP, AdeM Health, Peer Groups  ABSTRAK Penduduk merupakan modal dasar dan faktor dominan pembangunan yang harus menjadi titik sentral dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pencegahan dan pengendalian dampak kependudukan seperti kematian ibu dan bayi akibat hamil usia muda, melalui akses informasi yang relevan pada remaja dengan promosi kesehatan tentang Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan (PUP). Modifikasi PIK R berbasis sms konseling dan SMS remainder melalui program Adolescnt Mobile Health (AdeM Health) sebagai model penerimaan konsep PUP oleh kelompok sebaya diharapkan mampu menjadi daya ungkit bagi remaja untuk  meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang PUP. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh  melalui program Adolescnt Mobile Health (AdeM Health) terhadap penerimaan konsep PUP pada kelompok sebaya Di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah Tahun 2019. Desain penelitian quasi eksperimen pre dan post test tanpa kelompok kontrol. Intervensi berupa promosi kesehatan remaja melalui Model penerimaan konsep PUP dengan Program AdeM Health pada kelompok sebaya. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Remaja Siswa SMP di Kabupaten  Bengkulu Tengah. Hasil penelitian menemukan ada pengaruh model penerimaan PUP melalui konselor sebaya terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja, ada model penerimaan PUP melalui program AdeM Health  lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja dibandingkan pendekatan menggunakan konselor sebaya. Pengembangan model penerimaan konsep PUP lebih efektif jika menggunakan pendekatan konselor sebaya dan AdeM Health. Kata Kunci: Remaja, PUP, AdeM Health, Kelompok Sebaya

Abstract

Background: One of the government programs that focuses on the first 1000 days of life is exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months, but there is often a failure of exclusive breastfeeding at the age of 0-3 days due to pre-lactal feeding, so education during pregnancy is needed to improve the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women through KEKASIH (Small Group of Cadres with Pregnant Women) classes. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of KEKASIH classes on knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women trimester III in remote areas of Enggano Island, Bengkulu Province in 2023.Methods: Quasi-experimental research design with pre- and post-test and control group. Intervention in the form of KEKASIH class, which is a modified class for pregnant women divided into small groups with cadres as facilitators. Independent variables were KEKASIH class, dependent variables were knowledge and attitude. External variables are age, parity, education, distance of pregnancy, employment. The sample was trimester III pregnant women a total of 50 people consisting of the treatrimesterent group is pregnant women in KEKASIH class, the control group is pregnant women who receive conventional health promotion.Results:The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the mean knowledge score before and after exclusive breastfeeding education through KEKASIH class from 27.36 to 49.04, p=0.00. There is no difference in the mean attitude score before and after exclusive breastfeeding education in the control group from 28.16 to 28.96 p=0.00.Conclusions: KEKASIH Class is more effective in improving mothers' knowledge and attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding with a value of p=00. Educational factors affect mothers' knowledge, but gestational distance and parity affect mothers' attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding.
