Abstract

The library attendance at Petra Christian University is decreasing. We are interested in finding the factors affecting that attendance. In this study, we applied the LIBQUAL one of library quality measurements, and added some external and internal factors to answer the quest. Additionally, we also used the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) as tools for analyzing the constructs. As the result we found out that the factor that affecting library attendance is library as place, and the factor that doesn’t affect library attendace is teacher motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung yang signifikan dan positif dari job satisfaction terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement terhadap competitive advantage, dan competitive advantage terhadap financial performance, pada perusahaan retail publik di Surabaya. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif, dimana data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuisioner dan menggunakan rasio analisa laporan keuangan kepada perusahaan retail publik di Surabaya. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan dari job satisfaction terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement terhadap competitive advantage, dan competitive advantage terhadap financial performance, pada perusahaan retail publik di Surabaya. Employee engagement dan competitive advantage menjadi variabel perantara antara job satisfaction dengan financial performance.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss and analyze the nature of justice-based compensation payments to victims of fraud, the problem approaches used are a conceptual approach, a statutory approach, a comparative approach, a case approach and finally a philosophical approach. This research uses normative research by studying and understanding law as norms or positive legal rules. Sources of legal materials are obtained from legislation, literature books, theory and legal journals. Where later it will be used to find out what the essence of compensation payments should be that provides justice for victims of criminal acts of fraud to obtain their rights, namely through the reconstruction of regulations by adding sanctions in the form of criminal compensation for losses experienced as a result of the criminal act, due to criminal witnesses who were present. This applies only to giving prison sentences without paying attention to the victims.
