Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of modifying the Vespa Sprint I-Get 150 ABS motorcycle on power and torque. The method used is to modify the intake manifold, combustion chamber, ignition, and exhaust channels. Power and torque were tested using the Bethar Racing Team Dunamometer. The test results show that: 1) modification of the piston from 58 mm to 66 mm increases engine capacity by 200.4 cc; 2) Modifications to the intake manifold, combustion chamber, ignition, and exhaust ducts can increase power by 24.8 hp at 5122 Rpm; 3) Modifications to the intake manifold, combustion chamber, ignition, and exhaust ducts can increase torque by 41.68 Nm at 1890 Rpm.

Abstract

This study aims to design a wind pipe installation using a solenoid valve in Piksi Ganesha Indonesia Polytechnic laboratory. The research used the R & D (Research and Development) method. The research results are: 1) the testing of the use of a wind pipe installation using a solenoid valve produced an average wind pressure of 88.57 psi.; (2) the product usability test was 70% which belongs to the “very useful” category for use in the laboratory of the Indonesian Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha; (3) at a pressure of 20 psi when the solenoid valve was open, the air pressure released by the air duster gun increased gradually according to the compressor capacity, while at a pressure of 20 psi when the solenoid valve was closed, the air duster gun could not release the air because the solenoid valve was closed, so the wind could not move towards the air duster gun.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get a clear picture of the process of reconditioning and testing the 1984 Toyota Rino diesel engine. And to find out which components must be renovated for excellent engine performance. This research was conducted at the Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic Laboratory of Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative. The result of the reconditioning process is that several diesel engine components must be replaced in gaskets, air, and fuel filters. The results of testing the diesel engine Toyota Rino 1984 are: 1) Injector test, all injectors’ functions should run when tested using a pressure nozzle test; namely, the manometer shows 3000 psi when the lever is pressed, the nozzle can spray fuel tightly, and the nozzle does not leak; 2) Compression test, all cylinders are still in good condition when tested using a cylinder pressure tester, namely the manometer shows the number 30 kg/cm2.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk: meningkatkan kompetensi engine management system untuk siswa jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan di SMK Sukawati Sragen. Metode pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahap,yaitu: persiapan, penyampaian materi, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 Oktober 2023 dengan durasi 360 menit. Materi pelatihan yaitu: komponen dan fungsi sensor, fungsi ECU, komponen dan fungsi actuator, dan cara pemerikasaan sensor dan actuator. Hasil pelatihan nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 85. Jumlah nilai rata-rata siswa yang ?75 adalah 100%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan engine management system di SMK Sukawati Sragen berhasil dilaksanakan. Keberhasilan diketahui dari pencapaian nilai siswa ?75.
