Abstract

PT. Ravana Jaya is an industrial company engaged in the construction of building frames. The problem that occurs in this company is the high rate of work accidents. The purpose of using the HIRA and 5S methods in this study is to identify potential hazards that exist in companies with a 5S cultural approach to minimize work accidents in the workshop. The results of the risk assessment of this study contained 31 hazards as follows: 6 extreme risk categories, 15 high-risk categories, 4 moderate risk categories, and 6 low-risk categories. The results of the 5S proposal at each workstation, in a nutshell, workers must always clean the work area from garbage or material remnants, tidy up and be able to sort out materials of type and type to be used in one area, routinely perform machine maintenance and check the machines used, know SOPs that must be run from the tools or machines that will be used, workers must use complete PPE following the needs at each workstation. PT. Ravana Jaya adalah perusahaan industri yang bergerak di bidang kontruksi pembuatan kerangka bangunan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan ini adalah tingginya tingkat kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan menggunakan metode HIRA dan 5S pada penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya yang ada di perusahaan dengan pendekatan budaya 5S untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja di area workshop. Hasil risk assessment penelitian ini terdapat 31 identifikasi bahaya sebagai berikut: 6 kategori extreme risk, 15 kategori high risk, 4 kategori medium risk dan 6 kategori low risk. Hasil usulan 5S pada setiap stasiun kerja secara ringkas menunjukan pekerja harus selalu membersihkan area kerja dari sampah atau sisa – sisa dari material, merapikan dan dapat memilah material dari jenis maupun yang akan digunakan dalam satu area, rutin dalam melakukan perawatan mesin dan pengecekan mesin sebelum digunakan, mengetahui SOP yang harus dijalankan dari alat atau mesin yang akan digunakan, pekerja harus menggunakan APD dengan lengkap yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di stasiun kerja masing – masing.

Abstract

PT. ABC is a company that produces cooking oil and margarine whose products are well known throughout Indonesia, located in the city of Gresik, East Java. The main basic ingredient in manufacture of cooking oil and margarine is CPO (crude palm oil) which will be proceed at refinery and fraction stages. During the production process, quality control is carried out in order to get maximum results from raw to finished goods in Laboratory. In laboratory department, work accidents often occur, whether are low, medium or very hight. There are many potential hazards and risks due to direct contact with chemicals such as HCL, H2SO4 and Ammonium. To overcome this, a study was conducted using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment And Risk Control) and based on (OHSAS) Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series 18001:2007. The results of the HIRARC method show there are two extreme risk levels, two high levels, two low levels, and three medium levels. Controlling risks are in the form of eliminating and substituting points relevant to laboratory condition.

Abstract

PT. Petrokopindo Cipta Selaras is a corporate entity within the business sector that operates specifically within the service industry. The successful operation of trade is contingent upon the presence of adequate assistance. Nevertheless, the firm has some challenges, particularly in the domain of electrical products procurement. Delays in the delivery of electrical goods from suppliers, specifically PT. X, PT. Y, and PT. Z, impedes the operational workflows of the company. The study employed the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology to conduct the research. This involved constructing a hierarchical or network structure of the problem and conducting a pairwise comparison stage afterward. The findings reveal the key factors that significantly impact the supplier selection process for electrical items at PT. Petrokopindo established a prioritization framework, wherein quality criteria were assigned the greatest weight of 45.6%. This was followed by pricing criteria, which were assigned a weight of 30.3%. The third priority was given to delivery criteria, with a weight of 14.6%. Lastly, payment criteria were assigned the lowest priority, with a weight of 9.4%. PT Z holds the highest weight, specifically 35.2%, in relation to suppliers who demonstrate exceptional performance in terms of pricing criterion, carrying a weight of 20.6%. The supplier PT. The provider PT Y achieved the least outcome, with an overall weight value of 9.3%, while the lowest weight recorded was 3.8%.

Abstract

Sinom drink product "FA DRINK" is a traditional drink that has many benefits for the body. In the development of its business, this beverage product has constraints in developing products to be accepted by the community. One of the problems encountered is the large number of similar beverage products on the market. The development strategy that will be carried out is based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) method, which is then sorted by the QSPM matrix to get a priority strategy. The results showed the total weight of the IFE matrix score of 3.319 and EFE of 2.990 so that the company was in a grow and build condition. Based on the QSPM matrix, the highest value is 6.863 and the lowest value is 5.17. Product development strategy recommendations based on the QSPM matrix are to collaborate with traders to increase sales, marketing by participating in exhibitions, improving product packaging to make it more attractive strengths
