Abstract

Public transportation is the most important part for people especially those who do not have a private vehicle, from the past until now the public transportation mode bus is still quite popular, such as in Belinyu District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands. Passengers when they want to use this mode of transportation usually wait at the terminal or on the side of the road that is usually used by the bus, payment is made on the way with the bus conductor, the destination is conveyed by the bus conductor along with payment, but problems occur sometimes the bus departure information is not clear because information cannot be accessed direct by passengers not to mention when there are passengers who come from outside the area who often miss the bus and on holidays there is usually a congestion of passengers who do not get a seat because the system is still manual and ineffective. Therefore, a bus service information system is needed by utilizing web-based information technology, so that the information obtained by passengers is clearer, more effective and accessible so that no one misses the bus or the accumulation of passengers who do not get a seat. Where information and transactions can be accessed via the website. In this study using the Rapid application development (RAD) method. With this web-based bus service information system can help customers and improve company services.

Abstract

Pada akhir masa belajar siswa SMK umumnya dilaksanakan Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) dalam rangka mengukur pencapaian kompetensi dari siswa tersebut. Aspek keahlian yang dinilai pada UKK di SMK Bakti Pangkalpinang meliputi keterampilan siswa dalam membuat media promosi cetak produk UMKM. Tidak menutup kemungkinan terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum mampu mengoperasikan software graphic design secara baik. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, akan dilakukan workshop untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan software graphic design satu minggu sebelum UKK. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, workshop yang telah dilaksanakan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan software graphic design secara efektif, yaitu rata-rata sebesar 9,88%. Setelah mengikuti workshop, predikat kompetensi dari 34 peserta didominasi dengan kompeten sebanyak 52,94%, disusul sangat kompeten sebanyak 41,18%, dan cukup kompeten sebanyak 5,88%

Abstract

Many students undertaking work experience placements (PKL) face difficulties in compiling systematic reports and academic papers in accordance with academic standards. This community service activity aims to enhance the competence of PKL students at ISB Atma Luhur in compiling PKL reports and academic papers. The method was implemented in three stages: preparation, training delivery, and evaluation, involving 10 students from 3–5 November 2025. Data was collected through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and assessment of the reports. The results showed an average score increase from 76.5 to 88.5, with all participants achieving a higher score and reaching the ‘competent’ category. It was concluded that the training effectively improved students’ scientific literacy and could serve as a model for strengthening writing competencies among PKL participants. ABSTRAKBanyak siswa Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) menghadapi kesulitan menyusun laporan dan karya ilmiah yang sistematis sesuai kaidah akademik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa PKL di ISB Atma Luhur dalam menyusun laporan PKL dan karya tulis ilmiah. Metode dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi, melibatkan 10 siswa pada 03-05 November 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan penilaian produk laporan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 76,5 menjadi 88,5 dengan seluruh peserta mengalami kenaikan skor dan mencapai kategori kompeten. Disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan efektif meningkatkan literasi ilmiah siswa dan dapat menjadi model penguatan kompetensi menulis bagi peserta PKL.

Abstract

In today's era of digitalisation and the 4.0 industrial revolution, visually appealing promotional materials are essential for survival and growth. This community service activity aims to improve the visual promotion capabilities of MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City through the use of graphic design, as well as to equip participants with the skills needed in today's digital age. The programme was conducted over five days, involving 20 students and 7 SME partners from the culinary and handicraft sectors. The methodology combined design thinking and project-based learning approaches, starting from field observation, ideation, prototyping, to the submission of final designs. The outcomes of the activity include ready-to-use promotional materials such as banners, food menus, and supporting materials tailored to the identity and needs of each SME. This activity contributes to improving the competitiveness of MSMEs through visual differentiation and strengthening marketing literacy among MSMEs and participants.ABSTRAKPada era digitalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0 sekarang ini, keberadaan materi promosi yang menarik secara visual menjadi kebutuhan primer untuk bertahan dan berkembang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas promosi visual UMKM di Kota Pangkalpinang melalui pemanfaatan desain grafis, serta memberi bekal kompetensi yang dibutuhkan peserta pada masa digitalisasi sekarang. Pelaksanaan dilakukan selama lima hari dengan melibatkan 20 mahasiswa dan 7 UMKM mitra sektor kuliner dan kerajinan. Metode yang digunakan menggabungkan pendekatan design thinking dan project-based learning, dimulai dari observasi lapangan, ideasi, prototipe, hingga penyerahan desain final. Hasil kegiatan berupa paket materi promosi siap pakai berupa banner, menu makanan, dan materi pendukung yang disesuaikan dengan identitas dan kebutuhan masing-masing UMKM. Kegiatan ini turut berkontribusi dalam peningkatan daya saing UMKM melalui diferensiasi visual serta penguatan literasi pemasaran baik kepada UMKM serta peserta.
