Abstract

Waste management problems in Serang City are still a serious challenge, especially in terms of efficiency and transparency of the monitoring system. The low utilization of technology in monitoring waste management causes delays in transportation, lack of data accuracy, and minimal community participation in the reporting system. This study aims to develop a digital transformation-based solution to improve the effectiveness of waste management supervision in Serang City. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach through socialization and training for village officials and the community regarding the use of digital technology, such as GIS-based applications, the Internet of Things (IoT), and real-time monitoring systems. This activity was implemented in Cipocok Jaya Village, involving academics, local government, and the community as the main partners. The results of the activity show that the use of digital technology can increase efficiency in monitoring waste transportation, minimize waste piles at vulnerable points, and strengthen transparency in the reporting system. Thus, digital innovation in waste management supervision can be an effective model in supporting sustainable environmental policies in Serang City. Keywords: Digital; Waste Monitoring; IoT Technology; Transparency.

Abstract

Public demands for government bureaucracy are increasingly strong in order to create agile, efficient, accountable, and high-quality public services. This study aims to determine how the Jambi City Government applies Agile Governance principles through the SIKOJA application in serving public needs and as an effort to realize bureaucratic reform within the Jambi City government. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of the application of Agile Governance principles in public services, particularly through the digital innovation of the SIKOJA (Jambi City Information System) application. The results of this study indicate that there are several principles that are considered unsuccessful in being implemented. As with the Human-focused principle, there are several important things that need to be improved, such as minimal socialization to users. The Systematic and Adaptive approach principle also explains that the Jambi City Government through the SIKOJA application has not been successful in implementing this principle. There are several complaints from users such as the system that often experiences errors and there are bugs or technical damage in the application.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of noble family victories on voter turnout in the 2018 Bone Regency elections, focusing on how social, economic, cultural, and political factors contribute to determining the outcome of these elections. This study uses a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to the people of Bone Regency to explore their perceptions of the role of noble families in Pilkada. Data management was conducted using SmartPLS (SEM-PLS) software. The results show that all four factors have a positive and significant influence on voter turnout, confirming that the involvement of noble families is a symbol and a force capable of mobilizing community support. The findings suggest that noble families still play an important role in local politics, utilizing their extensive social networks, strong cultural influence, and economic and political support to maintain their dominance in the political arena. Their victories in local elections demonstrate the continuation of traditional political patterns rooted in local culture, albeit in a modern democratic context.
