Abstract

INTISARI Pembibitan merupakan salah satu fase penting sebelum dilakukan penanaman di lapangan. Pertumbuhan bibit yang vigor merupakan salah satu indikasi pertumbuhan bibit yang baik. Bibit vigor ditandai dengan pertumbuhan pucuk aktif (peco). Untuk memperoleh bibit yang sehat dan vigor, tanah sebagai media tanaman selayaknya memiliki unsur hara yang cukup bagi tanaman. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan adalah memberikan biofertilizer yang mengandung mikroorganisme penting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi biofertilizer terhadap pematahan pucuk dorman, pertumbuhan dan kesehatan bibit teh. Manfaat yang ingin diperoleh adalah memberikan informasi mengenai efektifitas penggunaan biofertilizer terhadap pematahan pucuk dorman, pertumbuhan dan kesehatan bibit teh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan bibit dengan pemberian Biofertilizer 2,5 ml/liter air, 5 ml/liter air, dan 10 ml/liter air menunjukkan rata-rata tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan kehijauan daun yang tinggi. Trend pertumbuhan bibit menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tanaman semakin banyak jumlah daun yang terbentuk dan terdapat hubungan linear bersifat positif antara tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun serta kehijauan daun. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan unsur hara limbah cair hasil dari pengolahan teh hijaudan fermentasi limbah cair teh hijau yang digunakan sebagai bahan pupuk organik. Hasil analisa fermentasi limbahcair menunjukkan kandungan C-organik tinggi dan kandungan hara makro serta mikro yang rendah (C-organik5,7; N 0,24%; P 0,06%; K 0,69%, Cu 1,63 ppm dan Zn 3,33 ppm). Pemanfaatan limbah cair teh hijau sebanyak 1liter dengan penambahan starter (EM-4) sebanyak 10 ml belum menunjukkan pengaruh terhadap persentase bibittumbuh dan pertumbuhan bibit, yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah dan kehijauan daun bibit teh.Kata kunci: limbah cair teh, pupuk organic, bibit tehABSTRACTThe purpose of this study to determine the nutrient content of liquid waste from the processing of green teaand green tea fermentation liquid waste used as organic fertilizer. Results of analysis of liquid waste showed high content of organic C (5,7%)and nutrient content of macro and micro low i.e N 0.24%, P 0.06%, K 0.69%, Cu 1.63 ppm and Zn 3.33 ppm.Liquid waste green tea as much as 1 liter with the addition of starter (EM-4) as much as 10 ml has not shown theeffect on the percentage of seedlings and growth of seedlings i.e plant height, number of leaves and greenery.Key words: liquid waste of tea, organic matter, tea seedling

Abstract

The experiment was conducted at Greenhouse and experimental garden of Polytechnic LPP Yogyakarta in Wedomartani from March to June 2016. This study aims to know the difference of frequency influence of watering liquid green tea fermentation on the initial growth of rubber plant seedlings. This research use non factorial Random Complete Block Design (RCBD) method, that is fermentation of liquid waste of green tea with 10 ml / polybag dosage with 3 treatments. The treatment given was control (P0), watering 2 weeks (P2), watering 4 weeks (P4). The giving of liquid organic fertilizer from waste liquid fermented green tea can enhance plant growth include rubber, i.e. plant height, number of leaves, green leaves, heavy wet and dry long & root plant rubber. At the 2 week watering frequency treatments showed the best results than the control treatment and the frequency of watering once every 4 weeks. Abstract

Tea productivity influenced by technical culture, soil, climate conditions and planting material. Nursery is an initial stage of cultivation. The purpose of the nursery is to prepare quality planting material for rejuvenation and new plantings. To get quality seedling, needs good media and able to support early growth. Utilizing the waste from the tea processing plant in the form of tea leaves that are not eligible if to be fermented into organic fertilizer is then applied to the seedling tea. The results showed that seedling growth trend is increasing, the higher the plant the more the number of leaves that are formed and there is a positive linear relationship between plant height and number of leaves and leaf greenness. The results of the soil analysis showed that the availability of nutrients organic C, N, K and C/N ratio with moderate status, while the P content is very high.Keywords: organic matter, tea nursery, tea ocsidation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response of various segments of coffee cuttings in the soil-compost planting media. This research was conducted from January 2018 to April 2018 at the Green House Polytechnic LPP Yogyakarta with BP 288 coffee plant clones. The treatment used was one segment cuttings, two sections cuttings, three sections cuttings and four sections cuttings with variable number of leafes, leaf color, shoot stem diameter, shoot length and number of shoots. This research method uses a non-factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with further DMRT methods.Based on the results of the study, it was found that soil-compost showed C-organic content of 8.54%, N content of 0.23%, P content of 0.14% and K content of 0.21% and the best results of plant growth were on the cuttings treatment of one segment cuttings, two sections cuttings, three sections cuttings and unfavorable growth, namely in the treatment of cuttings four sections.Keyworsd: Coffee, Cuttings, Growth

Abstract

Tea shoots processing intended to alter the chemical composition of fresh tea shoots, so bring the desired properties. Freshly plucked tea leaves containing water 75% of the weight of the leaves. The water contained in the leaves removed through the process of withering and drying in the processing of green tea. Green tea liquid waste obtained from the milling process and not used optimally, it needs a touch technology that can turn liquid waste into useful liquid organic fertilizer. The use of an activator / starter (micro-organisms) in green tea liquid waste is an alternative technology to improve the health and fertility of the soil and plants. The purpose of this study to determine the benefits of using liquid waste of green tea on the growth of tea seeds. Results of analysis of the utilization liquid waste of green tea with the addition of starter (EM-4) has not shown any real effect on the percentage of seedling growth and seedling growth (plant height, number of leaves and greenery). Keywords: liquid waste, green tea, organic matter.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to know the differences influence the frequency of watering fermentation liquid waste green tea on early growth of rubber plant seed. This research method using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) non factorial, i.e. the granting of fermentation liquid waste green tea with a dose of 10 ml/poly bag with 3 treatment. As for the extent of the treatments given are control (P0), the frequency of watering every two weeks (P2), the frequency of watering every four weeks (P4). Each treatment was repeated five times so that there are 15 units of the experiment. Each unit is comprised of 1 trial crops so that there is a total of 15 plants. The giving of liquid organic fertilizer from waste liquid fermented green tea can enhance plant growth include rubber, i.e. plant height, number of leaves, green leaves, heavy wet and dry long & root plant rubber. On treatment of P2 (the frequency of watering every two weeks) show the highest results and good than P0 treatment (control) and P4 (the frequency of watering every four weeks). Abstract

Tanaman tebu (Saccharum officinarum L) termasuk kedalam famili rumput- rumputan (graminae) seperti halnya padi, glagah, jagung, bambu dll. Tanaman ini bagian pangkal hingga ujung batangnya mengandung air gula. Uret (Lepidiota stigma F.) merupakan hama utama pada tanaman tebu yang menyerang ketika masih berada pada fase larva. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi dan regresi. Berdasarkan dari hasil data yang didapat diketahui tingkat serangan hama uret paling tinggi terjadi pada tahun 2014 yaitu 35,46 dan tingkat serangan hama uret paling rendah terjadi pada tahun 2017 yaitu 6,80. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat serangan hama uret adalah curah hujan, suhu, kelembapan, rendemen dan rotasi tanaman.

Abstract

Weeds are plants whose presence is not desired in the planting area because they are considered detrimental, inhibiting plant growth and production. The losses caused by the presence of weeds in cultivated areas can be very large, but these losses are rarely measured because weeds and cultivated plants are both plants (plants). Chemist weed control is widely used because the effects are seen more quickly and in an easier way. There can also be competition between weeds because of the allelopathy that can suppress the growth of fellow weeds and/or cultivated plants. Allelopathy is one of the ingredients that can be used as a herbicide biological material. Ageratum conyzoides contains chemical compounds from the class of alkaloids, anthraquinones, terpenes, steroids, tannins and phenols that can inhibit cell division germination, and inhibit the growth and/or development of weeds/other plants. This study aimed to determine the efficacy of Ageratum conyzoides extract used as a biological herbicide and obtain a concentration of Ageratum conyzoides extract which could be used as a biological herbicide. The experiment was carried out at the Krajan Practice Gardens, Polytechnic LPP Yogyakarta, with treatment concentrations of extracts of Ageratum conyzoides, namely 0% (A0), 1% (A1), 3% (A2), 5% (A3) and 7% (A4) per m² sample plot. Treatment A3 (3% concentration) was the concentration that caused the greatest poisoning symptoms compared to treatments A5 (5% concentration), A7 (7%), A1 (1% concentration) and A0 (0% concentration).

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a plantation crop that has an important role in improving the economy in Indonesia as well as the main raw material in sugar production. The single bud planting method is a nursery method that is widely used and in demand by farmers today for the production of sugarcane seeds. One of the best ways to grow seedlings is to have a good root system to get optimal nutrients. One of the efforts to support the growth and function of the roots is by giving PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). This study aims to determine the effect of differences in PGPR concentration on the growth of sugarcane bud set seedlings. The research was carried out from April to June 2021 at the LPP Polytechnic Integrated Practice Garden, Wedomartani, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method on one PGPR factor with 6 different concentration treatments. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 54 experimental units. The treatments used were PGPR concentrations of 0.3 ml/polybag, 0.6 mL/polybag, 0.9 mL/polybag, 1.2 mL/polybag and 1.5 mL/polybag. The results showed that the administration of PGPR with different concentrations did not significantly affect all parameters of sugarcane seedlings from the bud set observed, namely: plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and root length.
