Abstract

Objektif. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta didik tentang arti dari dakwah, unsur dakwah dan contoh kegiatan dakwah, serta metode ceramah yang berisikan tentang dakwah Ini dilakukan mengingat rendahnya pemahaman remaja dalam memahami dakwah secara luas. Material and Metode. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menggabungkan metode CBR (Community-Based Research) dan Service Learning (SL) melalui ceramah. Adapun yang terlibat dalam pengabdian masyarakat adalah SMKN 3 Panyabungan, Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Mandailing Natal dimana peserta terdiri dari seluruh peserta didik siswi keanggotaan OSIS SMKN 3 Panyabungan menjadi peserta dan mahasiswa semester VIII A Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam yang tergabung dalam perkuliahan Dakwah Islamiyah berperan sebagai panitia. Hasil. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan hasil yang didapatkan adalah peserta mampu mendeskripiskan pengertian, dan istilah dari dakwah, memahami unsur dan contoh-contoh kegiatan dakwah serta mempraktekkan ceramaha agama yang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan dakwah. Kesimpulan. Pengabdian berlangsung efektif sehingga dari keefektifan kegiatan ini, ada baiknya dilakukan kegiatan lanjuta berupa pembentukan lembaga dakwah di sekolah sehingga keilmuan dan pengetahuan dakwah peserta didik dapat dikembangkan di lingkungan sekolah dan mahapeserta didik terlatih dan mampu menjadi pengelola lembaga dakwah.

Abstract

The education on gadget usage among elementary and junior high school students was carried out in Mandailing Natal Regency with the organizing committee from the Mandailing Natal Education Office. This event was conducted over two days, with a total of 100 participants from elementary schools and 100 from junior high schools, coming from various schools around the city of Panyabungan. This community service was conducted in the form of a seminar, featuring speakers from higher education academia. Using the service learning method, students were motivated to understand the meaning of the material presented by relating it to their everyday life context, especially regarding gadget use to develop their skills in social, cultural, and family settings. The importance of managing gadget usage was explained by two speakers, and there was also a question-and-answer session. This educational program resulted in the elementary and junior high school students becoming aware of the importance of gadget usage  a good gadget. In addition, students instill in themselves the ability to adjust their gadget needs to avoid the negative effects of excessive gadget use. The contribution of this article provides knowledge about the proper use of gadgets among elementary and junior high school students and can serve as a reference for deepening activities related to gadget education.

Abstract

Strengthening the character of vocational school youth to become strong and great teenagers is a youth seminar held at MITRA TANI Vocational School, Panyabungan. This seminar aims to empower youth to develop individuals with strong morals, good ethics, and superior personalities, thus becoming responsible, independent, and virtuous citizens. Social phenomena frequently occurring among adolescents, such as juvenile delinquency, brawls, alcohol and drug parties, promiscuity leading to promiscuity, and criminal acts such as robbery, murder, and many more, reflect youth who are not great and strong, and this has also become a concern for parents and the community. The seminar was attended by 50 vocational school students, consisting of members of the MITRA TANI Vocational School Student Council (OSIS), with speakers from universities and the police. With a one-day seminar, this activity was packaged using a service learning method, students were motivated to understand the meaning of the material presented by relating it to the context of everyday life. Specifically, on the occurrence of the phenomenon of adolescent cases and the causes and solutions provided, and provided an opportunity for students to ask questions and be answered by the speaker. The seminar on strengthening adolescents that was carried out resulted in vocational high school students realizing the importance of being a teenager with character. In addition, students also instilled in themselves the ability to be able to become great and strong teenagers. The contribution of this article provides knowledge about strengthening the character of great and strong teenagers and can be used as a reference for deepening community service activities related to adolescent character.
