Abstract

The purpose of the research was to find out the influence of psychological barriers experienced by the students towards their speaking ability. This research employed quantitative descriptive method. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaire and speaking test. The subjects of the research were the students of class VIII.4 academic year 2016/2017. The data analysis revealed that the students experienced the medium level of psychological barriers. It was shown by the average score of the questionnaire which was 47. Besides, the students? ability in speaking English need to improve. The average score of the speaking test was 45. The simple linier regression formula discovered that t count = 1,21 > t table = 0,85. Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which means that there was a significant influence of the students? psychological barriers towards their speaking ability.

Abstract

The company's financial performance is one of the bases for assessing the company's financial condition which is carried out based on analysis of the company's financial ratios. Financial performance has an influence on the number of investors in a company. Indicators for measuring the company's financial performance include return on assets, return on equity, net profit margin, gross profit margin, operating profit margin, yield, payout, asset growth and company stability. Based on the company's financial performance indicators, company clustering will be carried out. One of the mathematical analysis approaches used to cluster companies based on financial performance indexed by LQ45 is to use the two-step cluster method. This method is the method used because the data variables to be processed are numerical data variables and categorical variables. The company's optimal cluster solution obtained is in the form of 3 optimal clusters. In cluster 1 a cluster of companies was formed which had the largest payout and yield values, in cluster 2 a cluster of companies was formed which had the largest net profit margin, gross profit margin, operating profit margin and cluster 3 was formed a cluster which had return on assets values, largest return on equity. Thus, it can be seen that each cluster has different characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penentu yang mempengaruhi minat berwirausaha pada generasi muda, dengan fokus pada kemampuan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Objek penelitian adalah 40 mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Ganesha yang memiliki minat atau pengalaman dalam kewirausahaan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Pisangan Timur, Ciputat, selama tiga bulan mulai dari Oktober hingga Desember2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ide bisnis dan kreativitas merupakan elemen penting dalam menumbuhkan minat berwirausaha. Kreativitas dapat ditingkatkan melalui dukungan keluarga dan akses pada ruang eksperimen. Selain itu, pendidikan kewirausahaan berperan dalam membentuk keterampilan inovasi, komunikasi, dan manajemen, yang meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan kemampuan menghadapi risiko. Langkah strategis seperti pelatihan, mentorship, networking, dan penguatan mental sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi kendala dalam pengembangan jiwa kewirausahaan. Pemerintah dan komunitas bisnis diharapkan menyediakan pelatihan, pendanaan, serta jaringan bisnis guna menciptakan generasi wirausahawan muda yang inovatif dan berdaya saing. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan program yang mendukung kewirausahaan di kalangan generasi muda.
