Independence lecturer in planning the establishment, meet implementing, and controlling the evaluation of student learning is something that is absolutely controlled by each lecturer for the demands of the institution should be so. The problem faced is that not all lecturers are present in an institution (such as STAIN Pare Pare) background in education and teacher training, but it does not mean that his lecturers setbeck non teacher can not teach and that setbeck his very independent teacher in teaching. It was, very dependent on the person lecturers each because even if the relevant background in teacher education but do not trigger and push themselves chasing theories and learning strategies inconvensional are grown and emerged as the circulation era of the all probability, the lecturers concerned will tertilap with modern learning and remains proud of its museum convesional theory. The purpose of the research was to find out the influence of psychological barriers experienced by the students towards their speaking ability. This research employed quantitative descriptive method. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaire and speaking test. The subjects of the research were the students of class VIII.4 academic year 2016/2017. The data analysis revealed that the students experienced the medium level of psychological barriers. It was shown by the average score of the questionnaire which was 47. Besides, the students? ability in speaking English need to improve. The average score of the speaking test was 45. The simple linier regression formula discovered that t count = 1,21 > t table = 0,85. Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which means that there was a significant influence of the students? psychological barriers towards their speaking ability.

The purpose of this research was positively to find out whether applying two stay two stray technique by using picture series to improve students? speaking skill at the second grade in MAN 2 Parepare. The results of this research, the benefit for the teacher and students. The teacher will be conscious that it is important to apply the technique in teaching. The students can enjoy the lesson so they can be easier to express their ideas and also confidence to speak by using the gesture.The subject of this research is XI MIA 1 class which is consisted of 27 students. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling. The design in this research was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The student did the pre-test, got the treatment and did the post-test. It aimed to know whether applying two stay two stray technique by using picture series can improve students? speaking skill.The result in this research was indicated that the improvement of the students? speaking skill. It was indicated by the students? mean scoreof post-test (72.26) was greater than pre-test (44.46). Even, for the level significant (p) 5% and df = 26, and the value of table is 1.706, while the value of t-test is 18.34. It means that the t-test value is greater than t-table (2.29 ? 1.706). Thus, it can be concluded that the students? speaking skill is significantly better after getting the treatment. So, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

This study aims to determine the performance of congregational prayers for santri to improve discipline in Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang, Kabupaten Sidrap. This research uses qualitative research that is inductive in nature with data collection methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The location was taken place of research in Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang. These results indicate, 1) the implementation of the prayer with students of Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang during the new normal period did not go well because there were still some students who did not perform their prayers in congregation on time, 2) the role of the fiqh teacher in fostering disciplined prayer in congregation with students in Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang has been very good because the fiqh teacher has given advice and encouragement by teaching the privileges of people who pray in congregation and implementing strategies in improving disciplinary attitudes to students, namely cooperative, affective, exemplary learning strategies and giving sanctions and punishments.
