Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of transformational leadership and transactional leadership on employee performance with motivation as a mediating. The sample is selected using convenience sampling by getting 47 respondents at PT Besttoflow System in Tangerang. Method of collecting data from respondents by using quistionnaire. Method of data analysis with multiple regression analysis what helped by Partial Least Square versi 3.2.7. Based  on  Partial  Least  Square  version  3.2.7  test  result, showed transformational leadership and transactional leadership variables has significant value to employee performance with motivation as a mediating at PT Besttoflow System in tangerangPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Besttolow System Tangerang dengan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan stratified random sampling dengan jumlah 47 responden pada PT Besttoflow System di Tangerang. Metode pengumpulan data dari responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square versi 3.2.7. Berdasarkan hasil uji Partial Least Square versi 3.2.7, menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

The slow growth of the Indonesia economic condition and the downward trend of culinary in Indonesia should not become a barrier to enter the Indonesia culinary industry. This business plan will provide the information needed to assist the investors in evaluating aspects of business feasibility and also provide guidelines and strategies for all enterpreneurs who wants to enter and start business in Indonesia culinary industry. This business aim to become a pioneer in Indonesia culinary industry by providing custom products and digital marketing system for Indonesia culinary industry in attempt gain competitive adventage. Based on the result of the business plan feasibility study, this business has obtained good result with NPV value of IDR 1,615,554,130 which is greater that zero. With an IRR value of 19,32%, it shows that the investment to this business can exceed the rate of interest in Indonesia bank generally. By having payback period in less than 4 years, this business is feasible to run. Lambatnya pertumbuhan kondisi ekonomi Indonesia dan tren penurunan kuliner di Indonesia seharusnya tidak menjadi hambatan untuk memasuki industri kuliner Indonesia. Rencana bisnis ini akan memberikan informasi yang diperlukan untuk membantu investor dalam mengevaluasi aspek kelayakan bisnis dan juga memberikan pedoman dan strategi untuk semua pengusaha yang ingin masuk dan memulai bisnis di industri kuliner Indonesia. Bisnis ini bertujuan untuk menjadi pelopor dalam industri kuliner Indonesia dengan menyediakan produk khusus dan sistem pemasaran digital untuk industri kuliner Indonesia dalam upaya mendapatkan petualangan kompetitif. Berdasarkan hasil studi kelayakan rencana bisnis, bisnis ini telah memperoleh hasil yang baik dengan nilai NPV Rp. 1.615.554.130, - yang lebih besar dari nol. Dengan nilai IRR 19,32%, itu menunjukkan bahwa investasi untuk bisnis ini dapat melebihi tingkat bunga di bank Indonesia pada umumnya. Dengan memiliki periode pengembalian dalam waktu kurang dari 4 tahun, bisnis ini layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

This study aims to test the performance of the company PT. IPSI Karya Abadi as measured by using the Balanced Scorecard approach and the company's performance improvement strategy in developing PT. IPSI Karya Abadi. This study uses a Balanced Scorecard analysis for performance measurement and SWOT analysis to determine strategy. The results of the analysis state that the results of performance measurements of financial perspectives, NPM in 2017 -2019 has increased, ROE in 2017-2019 has fluctuated, ROI in 2017-2019 has also fluctuated. The results of the customer satisfaction survey showed 69.27% so the data showed that satisfaction was in the high category. Customer retention test results show a decrease from year to year. The results of customer acquisition show fluctuations. Internal business process perspective, in the innovation process there is no latest innovation program from PT. IPSI Karya Abadi. The operation process is efficient, consistent and timely, and serves 24 hours. Learning and growth perspective, the employee satisfaction measure 79.65% in the high category and employee retention from 2017-2019 continues to increase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kinerja perusahaan PT. IPSI Karya Abadi yang diukur dengan menggunakan pendekatan Balanced Scorecard serta strategi peningkatan kinerja perusahaan dalam mengembangkan PT. IPSI Karya Abadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Balanced Scorecard untuk pengukuran kinerja dan analisis SWOT untuk menentukan strategi. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa hasil pengukuran kinerja perspektif keuangan, NPM pada 2017 -2019 telah meningkat, ROE pada 2017-2019 telah berfluktuasi, ROI pada 2017-2019 juga telah berfluktuasi. Perspektif pelanggan hasil survei kepuasan pelanggan menunjukkan 69,27% sehingga data menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan berada dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji retensi pelanggan menunjukkan penurunan dari tahun ke tahun. Hasil akuisisi pelanggan menunjukkan fluktuasi. Perspektif proses bisnis internal, dalam proses inovasi tidak ada program inovasi terbaru dari PT. IPSI Karya Abadi. Proses operasi efisien, konsisten dan tepat waktu, dan melayani 24 jam. Perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan, ukuran kepuasan karyawan 79,65% dalam kategori tinggi dan retensi karyawan dari 2017-2019 terus meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of career development, work discipline, and leadership on employee performance. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research. This quantitative descriptive research aims to explain various conditions, various situations or various variables that arise. The sample of this study was taken from 79 employee respondents in one of the interior contracting companies in West Jakarta. Data analysis techniques used in this study are statistical hypotheses and testing, which consist of validity, reliability, classic assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test), and hypothesis testing methods (T test, F test, determination coefficient analysis (R2), correlation coefficient analysis (R)). The results are: (a) There is a positive role in career development in employee performance; (b) There is a positive role for work discipline in the performance of customer employees; (c) There is a positive role of leadership in employee performance; (d) The role of career development, work discipline, and leadership has a positive influence on employee performance, which can be concluded that if the three variables increase, employee performance is also positive or increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the role of leadership, soft competency, and organizational climate on employee performance. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research. This quantitative descriptive research is used to determine the value of independent variables, either one or more variables (independent) without making comparisons, or connecting with other variables. The sample of this study was taken from 82 employee respondents in the company PT. XYZ. Data analysis techniques used in this study are hypotheses and statistical tests, which consist of validity, reliability, classic assessment tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test), and hypothesis testing methods (t test, F test , analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), analysis of the coefficient of coordination (R)). The results are: (a) There is a positive role in leadership in employee performance; (B) There is a positive role for soft competency in employee performance; (c) There is a positive role for organizational climate in employee performance; (d) The role of leadership, soft competency, and organizational climate has a positive influence on employee performance, which can overcome the variable increase, employee performance is also positive or increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze influence of employee engagement (X1) and work life balance (X2) on turn over intention (Y) in millenial generation DKI Jakarta. This research used non-experimental quantitative design, with nonprobability and snowball sampling technique. Subject of this study consisted of thirty-one respondent who were work in Jakarta area, age between 20 until 36 years old. Data analysis is using multiple linear analysis with additional supported application of SPSS ver.23. result obtained from the data analysis showed with significance level 0,05, employee engagement (t-count = -1,162), which means Ho is accepted, which indicates there is a negative relationship between employee engagement and turn over intention. Moreover, work life balance (t-count = +2,534), which means Ho is rejected, which indicates there is a relationship between variable work life balance and turn over intention.

Abstract

Coffee is a type of drink that is quite well known and liked by most people around the world. The trend of domestic coffee consumption in Indonesia has continued to increase over the last 10 (ten) years. In Indonesia, there are several categories of coffee shops with different products and different target markets. There are four waves of the coffee shop industry, and two of them are categorized as startup coffee and top-tier coffee. This study aims to analyze how the influence of startup coffee brands on the sales results of top-tier coffee brands and also to analyze the strategies used by top-tier coffee shops to maintain their sales results and reputation in the eyes of consumers. The method used in this research is qualitative and analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The conclusions from the results of this study are that first, coffee startup brands can affect the sales of top-tier coffee brands from two aspects, namely affordable product prices and good coffee taste quality, and secondly, several ways that top-tier brand coffee shops can maintain their sales results and reputation in the eyes of consumers by maintaining their shop’s position so that they are easily accessible to consumers, maintaining the quality of coffee taste, and creating new variants to compete with coffee products from other startup coffee brands. Kopi merupakan jenis minuman yang cukup terkenal dan disukai oleh sebagian besar masyarakat di seluruh dunia. Tren konsumsi kopi domestik di Indonesia terus meningkat selama 10 (sepuluh) tahun terakhir Di Indonesia, terdapat beberapa kategori coffee shop dengan produk-produk yang berbeda dan target market yang berbeda pula. Terdapat empat gelombang dari industri coffee shop, dan dua di antaranya dikategorikan menjadi startup coffee dan top-tier coffee. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh brand kopi startup terhadap hasil penjualan brand kopi top-tier dan juga untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan top-tier coffee shops untuk mempertahankan hasil penjualan dan reputasi mereka di mata konsumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu pertama adalah brand startup kopi dapat memengaruhi hasil penjualan brand top-tier kopi dari dua aspek yaitu harga produk yang terjangkau dan kualitas rasa kopi yang enak, dan kedua adalah beberapa cara kedai kopi brand top-tier dapat mempertahankan hasil penjualan dan reputasi mereka di mata konsumen adalah dengan mempertahankan posisi kedai mereka agar tetap mudah terjangkau oleh konsumen, tetap mempertahankan kualitas rasa kopi, dan membuat varian baru untuk bersaing dengan produk kopi dari brand kopi startup.

Abstract

Technology RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology that is growing rapidly, especially in the retail business world today, many applications can be done by various retail businesses in the use of RFID in the hope of increasing work effectiveness and cost-efficiency. In general, the integration of RFID technology in various aspects of the retail industry, from the supply chain, sales, and inventory monitoring requires a fairly expensive cost for a company, but it must be reviewed that there is a sweet spot in enabling efforts a technology into the company's activity cycle from even a small thing, therefore this study was made to find out how much influence RFID technology has to reduce costs and produce a sweet spot that is useful for a company. Teknologi RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) merupakan teknologi yang sedang berkembang pesat terutama di dunia bisnis retail sekarang ini, banyak penerapan yang bisa dilakukan oleh berbagai bisnis retail dalam penggunaan RFID dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kerja dan efisiensi biaya. Pada umumnya, integrasi teknologi RFID dalam berbagai aspek di industri retail baik dari supply chain, sales, dan monitoring inventory memerlukan biaya yang lumayan mahal bagi sebuah perusahaan, tetapi harus ditinjau kembali bahwa terdapat sweet spot dalam upaya enabling suatu teknologi ke dalam siklus aktivitas perusahaan dari yang hal yang kecil sekalipun, oleh karena itu penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh teknologi RFID dalam upaya menekan biaya dan menghasilkan sweet spot yang berguna bagi suatu perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of consumer behavior which consists of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors, as well as the reason that psychological factors are the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions for Jellys’ “Pure Soap” body whitening soap product in the residential area of Gading Serpong, which was distributed on June 2021 to 100 respondents through a questionnaire and was tested using a Likert scale with accidental sampling technique. The two hypotheses were analyzed with multiple regression analysis using SPSS 26 after testing the validity and reliability. The results of the study answered that the variables of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors simultaneously had a significant influence, and psychological variables namely motivation, perception, and product knowledge had a dominant influence on purchasing decisions for the Jellys’ “Pure Soap” brand body whitening soap product. Further research is needed for other researchers to examine other variables not included in this study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh perilaku konsumen yang terdiri atas faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologis, serta alasan faktor psikologis paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk sabun pemutih tubuh Jellys “Pure Soap” di lingkungan wilayah pemukiman Gading Serpong, yang didistribusikan pada bulan Juni 2021 kepada 100 responden melalui kuesioner dan diteliti menggunakan skala Likert dengan teknik accidental sampling. Kedua hipotesis dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda menggunakan SPSS 26 setelah uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menjawab bahwa variabel faktor kebudayaan, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologis secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh signifikan, serta variabel psikologis yaitu motivasi, persepsi, dan pengetahuan akan produk mempunyai pengaruh dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk sabun pemutih tubuh merek Jellys “Pure Soap”. Diperlukan adanya penelitian lanjutan bagi peneliti lain untuk meneliti variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

In this millennium era, increasingly rapid business development can lead to various industrial sector competitions in various fields. PT Mangala Jaya Utama is a construction service company which is located in Klari District, Karawang Regency. The results of interviews with several employees conducted at PT Mangala Jaya Utama, majority of them did not receive sufficient compensation and motivation. Apart from insufficient compensation and motivation for employees, the 2019 revenue of PT Mangala Jaya Utama also decreased from the previous year. This situation makes the researchers want to know and analyze employee compensation, motivation, and performance, and want to know the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance at PT Mangala Jaya Utama. This study uses primary data such as answers to questionnaires and secondary data such as general descriptions. The population of this study was 40 employees. The effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance at PT Mangala Jaya Utama is very large because compensation and motivation are the main driving factors in supporting employee performance, this can be seen from the company's revenue data which has decreased from 2018 to 2019 where compensation and motivation factors from employees are not good. PT Mangala Jaya Utama should develop further research by exploring solutions for every employee who feels they are not getting sufficient compensation and motivation from the company and make system improvements. Di era milenium ini, perkembangan usaha yang semakin pesat dapat menimbulkan berbagai persaingan sektor industri di berbagai bidang. PT Mangala Jaya Utama merupakan perusahaan jasa konstruksi yang beralamat di Kecamatan Klari Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil wawancara terhadap beberapa karyawan yang dilakukan di PT Mangala Jaya Utama, mayoritas tidak menerima kompensasi dan motivasi yang cukup. Selain kompensasi dan motivasi yang tidak mencukupi bagi karyawan, pendapatan tahun 2019 PT Mangala Jaya Utama pun menurun dari tahun sebelumnya. Keadaan ini membuat peneliti ingin mengetahui dan menganalisis kompensasi, motivasi, dan kinerja karyawan, serta ingin mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Mangala Jaya Utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer seperti jawaban atas kuesioner dan data sekunder seperti gambaran umum. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 40 karyawan. Pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Mangala Jaya Utama sangat besar, karena kompensasi dan motivasi menjadi faktor pendorong utama dalam menunjang kinerja karyawan, hal ini terlihat dari data pendapatan perusahaan yang mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2018 ke tahun 2019 dimana faktor kompensasi dan motivasi dari karyawan kurang baik. PT Mangala Jaya Utama harus mengembangkan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menggali solusi dari setiap karyawan yang merasa tidak mendapatkan kompensasi dan motivasi yang cukup dari perusahaan dan melakukan perbaikan sistem.
