Abstract

Changes in the offline learning system to online learning have an effect on the demotivation of students to learn. However, this fact does not affect an elderly Indonesian male. This study aims to explore motivational factors for these elderly men in participating in an online Arabic learning program organized by an informal institution in Indonesia. A narrative research design was used in this study. The data was extracted through in-depth interviews. The results showed that there were several factors that influenced the motivation to learn Arabic online from elderly men, namely: Motivation to understand Al-Qur'an, motivation from friends, and presentation of interesting Arabic material. These findings suggest further research on the motivation to learn Arabic online by involving elderly participants of various genders.

Abstract

Empowerment activities for elderly stroke sufferers in remembering reading and prayer movements aim to provide guidance and direction to the community or a family member of stroke patients to be able to find out how to provide treatment to elderly stroke sufferers who forget to read and pray movements due to the impact of stroke (post-stroke) and as an effort to form mentors who can pay attention and guide elderly stroke sufferers well, add insight to companions and so that later companions can help, accompany, and train these stroke sufferers to spur themselves and their ability to remember reading and prayer movements. The method used in this activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development) method. The empowerment for this supervisor is carried out with a series of activities including; (1) reflexology, (2) congregational prayer, and (3) guidance on reading and prayer movements. Through this effort, stroke sufferers are able to remember readings and prayer movements, but have a drawback, namely that they must start by mentioning the beginning of the prayer reading and cannot pray individually. In this activity, it is hoped that the companion can help stimulate the memory of the elderly with stroke to continue to assist them in remembering readings and prayer movements as well as assisting the five daily prayers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis level aktivitas belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, level hasil belajar PAI, mengukur kontribusi aktivitas belajar, motivasi belajar, dan mengukur kontribusi aktivitas belajar dan motivasi belajar secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis expost facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 52 siswa, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan analisis data menggunakan rumus rata-rata, analisis korelasi, regresi berganda dan koefisien determinan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa level aktivitas belajar siswa dengan rerata 3, 885 dikategori tinggi, level motivasi belajar rerata 3,953 dikategori tinggi, level hasil belajar rerata 86,481 berada dikategori baik, aktivitas belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar PAI sebesar 23,3%, motivasi belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 33,1%, aktivitas belajar dan motivasi berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar PAI sebesar 56,4%, sisanya dipengaruhi variable lain. Dapat disimpulkan aktivitas belajar dan motivasi berkontribusi positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Diharapkan penelitian ini mampu memperbaiki konsentrasi belajar siswa melalui aktivitas belajar dan motivasi belajar, sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih meningkat
