<![CDATA[ABSTRAKASI adalah nutrisi terbaik bagi bayi. Petugas kesehatan berkomitmen memberikanpendidikan kesehatan tentang ASI eksklusif karena dapat meningkatkan motivasi ibudalam menyusui bayi mereka hingga 6 bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang manfaat menyusui pada ibu primiparamotivasi menyusui.Desain penelitian adalah pra pendekatan percobaan crosss secsional, denganpopulasi 30 ibu. Sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling dan sampel yangdiperoleh yaitu 28 ibu. Variabel independen yaitu pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentangmanfaat menyusui dan variabel terikat yaitu motivasi ibu primapara yang menyusui.Pengambilan data kemudian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diujimenggunakan wilcoxon dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05.Hasil yang diperoleh sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan 71% motivasi tinggidan 29% motivasi sedang. Sementara itu setelah memberikan pendidikan kesehatan 96%motivasi tinggi dan 4% motivasi tengah. Berdasarkan hasil Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test ƿ =0,000 mana ƿ <0,05 maka H0 ditolak, artinya ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentangmanfaat menyusui pada ibu primipara motivasi menyusui.Pendidikan kesehatan tentang manfaat ASI eksklusif pada ibu primiparamempengaruhi motivasi ibu primipara memberikan ASI eksklusif. Petugas kesehatandiharapkan untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada ibu, terutama ibu-ibuprimipara tentang manfaat ASI eksklusif sehingga motivasi menyusui meningkat.Kata kunci: Pendidikan kesehatan, Motivasi, MenyusuiABSTRACTBreast milk is the best nutritions for babies. Health education comitted healthworkers about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding can be done because the mother’smotivasion could be improved in the succes of breastfeeding their infant up to 6 months.The goal of this research was to determine the effect of health education on the benefits ofbreastfeeding on primiparous maternal motivation breastfeeding.The study design was pra experiment approach secsional crosss, with a populationof 30 mothers. Sampling with simple random sampling technique and obtained samples of28 mother. Independent variables namely effect of health education on the benefits ofbreastfeeding and dependent variable that is the primaporous maternal motivasionbreastfeeding. Data retrieval is then performed using a questionnaire wilcoxon sign ranktest with significance level α= 0.05.The results obtained are less before provided health education 71 % highmotivation and 29 % midlle motivation.
