Abstract

This research aimed to determine the classic investment factors for insurance participants on unit link Sharia in the Yogyakarta area. This research type used mixed method research (the quantitative and qualitative research). Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires, while the qualitative stage of data was obtained by interview, observation, and also documentation. The research results showed that classical investment factors could influence the participants' decision to invest in sharia unit link insurance. The effect is 3.0, i.e. participants stated "agree". The important aspect of consideration for participants was the image aspect of the insurance company that they currently participated in. The item that the participants considered was the company's reputation item. The lowest value aspect was the neutral Information aspect, while the lowest value item was the inflation consideration item.

Abstract

The latest textbooks from the Merdeka curriculum are only available for the first year, namely 2022 for the first level. However, many people still doubt its effectiveness because the Merdeka curriculum is still in the socialization period. This study wants to dig deeper into the latest curriculum textbooks compared to the previous curriculum. This study was conducted using the comparative method of primary data. The K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum Textbooks were analyzed using textbook standards from the BSNP, which consisted of 4 aspects: Material Content, Material Presentation, Language, and Graphical elements. Then, do the scoring to measure suitability. The study results show that the Merdeka Curriculum textbooks get a higher score than the K13 textbooks as a whole and in every assessment aspect

Abstract

Communication is a way to share ideas and information so mathematical communication becomes important to consider in the process of teaching and learning mathematics. This research is qualitative research that aims to describe mathematical communication in an interview based on the standards that have been put forward by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). The subjects of this study were 6th-grade elementary school students and the instruments used is a test about systems of a linear equation and also interview guidelines. The results from this study are the description of mathematical communication of the first participants is satisfied in all four of the standard communication in NCTM, which since the beginning has demonstrated high motivation in communicating mathematics. While the second participant only satisfied some standards, at the end of the interview, the second participant showed increased communication of mathematics. The second participant found a better strategy after listening to his peer’s explanation.

Abstract

The development of digital learning media has grown rapidly over the past decade; however, socioeconomic background has a strong influence on its use. Due to the vast diversity of users, there is no effective map. This study provides a literature review (SLR) on the use of digital technology in mathematics learning for early childhood through an analysis of 16 recent studies (studies that meet the exclusion and inclusion criteria in the PICOS framework). This paper attempts to bridge the gap between digital technology advancements and meaningful mathematics education practices. The conclusion is that game-based educational applications and interactive tools have become a primary approach proven effective in improving the understanding of basic mathematical concepts. However, behind this great potential, real challenges are found in their implementation - from the limitations of long-term studies to disparities in access across socioeconomic backgrounds. This study also highlights the need for synergy between technological innovation and appropriate pedagogical approaches. For educators, these findings provide practical guidance on selecting and implementing learning technologies, while for researchers, several critical areas are identified that require further exploration.

Abstract

Early childhood education strives to prepare a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has strong computational thinking and numeracy skills. This study aims to explore the use of artificial intelligence-based numeracy learning media in developing computational thinking patterns in early childhood. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with literature studies to understand the phenomenon and design relevant learning applications. The steps in media development include needs, design analysis, interactive content creation, implementation, and revision based on feedback. The designed learning media, such as "Treasure Box", integrates gamification elements and AI technology to create a fun and effective learning experience. The results of the study show that this media can improve students' numeracy skills and stimulate creativity and problem-solving skills. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of PAUD education in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service program addresses the limited exposure of early childhood education (ECE) to digital literacy and computational thinking in rural areas. The focus of the program is to introduce basic coding concepts to children aged 3–7 years in Sidomulyo Village through an initiative called Edukoding. The aim is to foster logical thinking and digital readiness among young learners. Using a participatory action research approach, the program involved teachers, parents, and children in a series of training sessions, play-based coding activities, and digital parenting workshops. The results show increased teacher capacity in facilitating technology-integrated learning, active participation of children in coding games, and improved parental awareness of healthy digital use. The program also triggered social transformation through the formation of teacher learning groups and the emergence of local educational leaders. Edukoding demonstrates that coding can be introduced at an early age through context-based and inclusive strategies

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan memegang peran krusial dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, di mana guru sebagai ujung tombak memerlukan pembinaan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala madrasah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru di MAN 4 Kediri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. teknik keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menjalankan peran supervisi tidak hanya sebagai pengawas, tetapi juga sebagai pembina, motivator, dan fasilitator. Strategi supervisi yang diterapkan meliputi observasi kelas, evaluasi perangkat pembelajaran, rapat evaluasi, forum diskusi, serta pelatihan dan workshop. Dampak supervisi terlihat pada profesionalisme guru yang mencakup kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian, serta pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Supervisi kepala madrasah yang bersifat edukatif dan kolaboratif berperan penting pada profesionalitas guru dan mutu pembelajaran. saran yang dapat disampaikan supaya kepala madrasah terus mengembangkan variasi pendekatan supervisi dan guru aktif dalam pengembangan diri. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low levels of numeracy literacy among students and the increasing use of digital technology as an alternative learning solution. However, the effectiveness of technology-based programs depends heavily on how they are managed, particularly when dealing with vulnerable groups facing limited digital access. This study aims to analyze the implementation management of the Matific app-based numeracy literacy program and its impact on student learning outcomes. The central research questions concern whether the implemented program significantly improves learning outcomes and how the implementation process unfolds in the field. A mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design was employed. Quantitative data were derived from pre-test and post-test results, while qualitative data were gathered through observations and interviews. The study sample consisted of 55 students from a social welfare institution (LKSA) in Puncu District, Kediri. The results indicate an increase in the average score from 48.37 to 53.26; however, this increase was not statistically significant (p = 0.066). Qualitative findings reveal that the program's implementation was influenced by limited facilities, restricted access to technology, and the varying ability levels of the students.
