Abstract

The productivity of oil palm plantations in the district Leuser tends to decrease, this is not in line with the area's increasing crop yield. Decreased productivity impact on the incomes of farmers who have land transformation, this condition is certainly not expected of farmers. The purpose of this study to formulate appropriate strategies to improve the income of farmers in the district of palm Leuser Southeast Aceh district. By using SWOT analysis, the results showed that the resulting strategy is a strategy of business diversification of the diversity of both interrelated or not interrelated to increase farmers' income palm.Keywords: SWOT, Strategy Diversification, Farmers' Income

Abstract

The position of a country's foreign exchange reserves is usually declared safe if it meets the import needs for a period of at least three months. If the foreign exchange reserves that are owned are not sufficient for three months of imports, then it is considered vulnerable. This study aims to determine the effect of the exchange rate on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. The data in this study are monthly time series data from 2013-2019 sourced from Bank Indonesia. The data obtained were then analyzed by simple linear regression using software eview 9.0. The results showed that the exchange rate (exchange rate) had a significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves.

Abstract

This article discusses the ability of Accounting students of Medan State Polytechnic in managing personal finances which include five main aspects: spending money according to needs, paying obligations on time, planning finances for the future, saving, and setting aside money for personal and family needs. Most students show good ability in financial management, although some still face challenges, such as difficulty saving and managing expenses. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The results of the study show that the majority of students are in the good to very good category in financial management. This finding reveals that although some students have large pocket money, their financial management behavior is not yet completely ideal, so it requires more awareness in acting financially. The influence of family, environment, and education plays an important role in shaping students' financial habits, where parents are the main factors.
