Every Catholic is called and sent to continue Christ’s mission in union with the Church. To realize her/his call, s(he) participates in pastoral ministries of local Church. In fact, most of them participate in pastoral ministries is not based on true motivation. This article wants to challenge pastoral ministers to purify their fundamental motivation in order to nourish the Mystic Body of Christ. It also suggests them to cooperate with each other in their pastoral ministries.

Media of social communication on the one hand must be seen as a gift of God to be grateful because it has the power to unite, creating and enriching encounter of man and life. But on the other hand must also be recognized that the social communications media not infrequently also used irresponsibly. Globalization and the advancement of social communication media direct and shape society today as a consumer society. Even today's consumer society has become a system of formation and information systems. As a system formation, consumerist society are consciously or unconsciously have formed a personal and behavior, whereas as an information system, consumerist society provides continuous information on the person's consumer society as if it is his identity and becomes his world status. Globalization and social communication media call the parents to respond wisely and responsibly. Parents should accept globalization and social communication media as gifts of God that ought to be thankful for. In addition, parents also develop the right attitude, wise and full responsibility towards globalization and social communication media so that they can still give life and education for children in accordance with the duties and callings of birth and the sacrament of baptism and the sacrament of marriage.

Sunday was a very special day to get together with our brothers and sisters in the Church, to give thanks to God and the memory of the passion, resurrection andglory of the Lord Jesus. In addition, Sunday is recommended as a day to develop the piety of the faithfull, as a day of excitement and a day free from work. There is a reason that is not the right of the people to go to church on Sunday or not. First, they come out of habit. Second, there are people who think that they can pray better if done at home alone, so no need to go to church on Sundays. Of these concerns, researched "Youth Perceptions of Mater Dei Catholic Parish of Celebrating Sunday as the Lord's Day”. In particular, the research carried out at Mater Dei parish Madiun. Results using qualitative methods. The purpose of this paper is to understand the meaning of the celebration of Sunday. Knowing the young people's perception of Mater Dei Catholic parish on Sunday celebration. Knowing the various forms or ways Catholic Youth Mater Dei parish celebrated Sunday. From the results it can be concluded that the people of Mater Dei Catholic parish actually been very understanding about the meaning of Sunday and the activities of Catholics on Sunday to go to church, it's just that there are a few do not realize to follow the activities of the Church on Sundays.

Keluarga Kristiani adalah Gereja-Rumah Tangga yang dipanggil untuk ambil bagian dalam karya perutusan Gereja di tengah dunia. Di dalam keluarga terdapat berbagai bentuk pendidikan dasar sekaligus menghadirkan seluruh dimensi penting dalam kehidupan Gereja Selain itu, keluarga Kristiani juga berada pada posisi sangat strategis untuk melaksanakan perutusan Gereja di dunia. Untuk menunjang dan mendorong keberhasilan tugas perutusan Gereja di dunia, maka Gereja perlu menyiapkan para tenaga misionemya sejak dini mulai dari keluarga-keluarga Kristiani. Dengan demikian, keluarga dapat menjadi lahan sekaligus subyek bagi pendidikan dasar para tenaga missioner Gereja.

Modernisasi membawa berkat tetapi juga ancaman pada saat yang sama. Di satu sisi, modernisasi meningkatkan taraf hidup, pendidikan dan kesehatan manusia. Devotion to Mary is the Church's tradition lived a practiced until today. There are various kinds of devotions to Mary such as: Rosary, Hail Mary, and litany.Besides, there are also many challenges to practice the devotion such as: deification of Mary's figure and magic. In order to guide her people, the Church published Marialis Cultus encyclic. How about opinions of Marialis Cultus encyclic on devotion to Mary? How about understanding of parishioners on content of the Marialis Cultus encyclic? How about practices of devotion to Mary in Mater Dei parish? This study uses qualitative methods. The aim of the study: firstly is to know opinions of Marialis Cultus encyclic on devotion to Mary; Secondly is to grasp understanding of parishioners of Mater Dei Parish on content of the Marialis Cultus and thirdly is to explain their practices of devotion to Mary in Mater Dei Parish. The conclusion of the research shows that most of parishioners never read the Marialis Cultus, but their understanding on devotion to Mary is related to or in line with Marialis Cultus teachings. Just few of their understanding of devotion to Mary is not in line with Marialis Cultus teaching. The research reveals that most of parishioners in Mater Dei Parish devote to Mary personally and incommunity. In the communities, they devote in various manners such as: Rosary recitation, litany, praying “angelus” especially in Mary Month and Rosary Month. In parochial level, most of parishioners say that devotion to Mary is done well but participation of parishioners should be increased. The parishioners alsoconsider that the parish should build a grotto of Mary to increase participation of parishioners in devotion to Mary.

Perayaan Ekaristi hari Minggu di paroki sering dipandang sebagai kegiatan yang bersifat rutinitas belaka. Maka Perayaan Ekaristi masih kui'ang mendapatkan perhatianyang seharusnya. Namun fakta menunjukkan bahwa umat masih tetap datang dan berkumpul menghadiri Perayaan Ekaristi hari Minggu. Ini membuktikan bahwa Perayaan Ekaristi hari Minggu masih mendapat tempat yang istimewa di hati umat beriman, termasuk remaja. Untuk itu para petugas pastoral, khususnya para imam, hendaknya memanfaatkan dengan baik berbagai peluang perayaan Ekaristi hari Minggu untuk membantu mengembangkan hidup rohani umat maupun hidup rohani remaja. Melakukan persiapan yang serius, mengembangkan kreatifitas, serta memanfaatkan berbagai kemungkinan penyesuaian yang dapat dilakukan dalam perayaan Ekaristi membantu terwujudnya pengembangan hidup rohani umat, terutamahidup rohani remaja.

The Sacrament of Baptism and of Confirmation urge the faithful to participate in the mission of the Church. One of various realizations of the Church’s mission is running the Catholic Schools. In other words, all members of a Catholic school: teachers, employees, students, foundations or parents, are called and sent to be involved in the mission of the Church. One of the fruits of carrying out Church missionary duties in Catholic schools is baptism. In 2012-2016 the number of baptisms in the Catholic High Schools in the city of Madiun was 15 people. Starting from the above, several questions can be asked as the starting point of this research: 1) What is the Church’s mission? 2) What is the Church’s mission according to the Catholoc religious educators? 3) How do the Catholic religious educators implement the Church’s mission in the Catholic Senior High Schools in Madiun city? This study aims: describing the understanding of the Church’s mission, to analyze the understanding of Religious Educators on the Church’s mission and to analyze how the religious educators to realize the Church’s mission in the Catholic Senior High Schools in the Madiun city. To achieve these objectives, researcher used qualitative research methods with interview techniques. The respondents of this study were religious educators in four Catholic Senior High Schools in Madiun. The results of the study show that: 1) The Religious Educators know the understanding of the Church’s mission. 2) All faithful are responsible to participate in the Church’s mission. 3) The Religious Educators had to be responsible and to involve in the Church’s mission in Catholic Senior High Schools. 4) The Religious Educators had already done and implemented the Church’s mission in their schools. In fact, there were some difficulties come from extern or intern of the schools.

The death itself absolute and unavoidable, but it's also a definite and uncertain mystery. In front of death, the people helpless, but besides the people rebel because intheir soul there is seed of life that makes people reject and rebel against death. Based on this problem, so could be formulated some discussion: What do people interpret the death? What is the meaning of resurrection of the body? What does the meaning of resurrection of the body and eternal life? The purposes of this research are, describe the meaning of death, the meaning of body resurrection and eternal life, and how Catholic people at St. Joseph Karangrejo, Parish of Regina Pacis Magetan, understand about resurrection of the body and eternal life. This research uses qualitative research method. The Methods of data collection is done by direct interview in the field. Interviews are private between two parties. Conclusions of the research are that in common the catholics know the meaning of death. They know and believe that the resurrection and internal of the body and eternal life are real but they could not give a clear reason. They also know that there is relatoinship betwen daily life with internal life. Their daily life is preparation of their death and internal life. Their understanding is goad enough but still need to be strengthened and tobe cathecized.

Prayer was very important in Jesus’ life and the saints’ lives. Prayer also becomes the important need in the faithfuls’ life. Prayer is a mean to fight againts the devil and the power of sin. Prayer is also an expression of faith in God. It also becomes the way of human being to always remember to God. There are some problems: what is prayer? How do the Catholic teens of St. Hilarius’ Parish, Klepu pray together? What kind of benefits of praying together for the Catholic Teens in St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu? What kind of impedements in praying together that the Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ Parish experience? The aims of this research are: to clarify the definition of prayer, to explain how the Catholic Teens of Hilarius’ parish, Klepu to do their praying together, to explain the benefits of prayer together for the Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu. Finally, to identify various factors that supporting or inhibiting the practice of prayer of the Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu. This research used qualitative research methods. In this study there are 10 respondents consisting of 4 male respondents and 6 female respondents. They are between 13-15 years old. They are members of St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu. The conclusions of the research are: 1) The Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu know the understanding of prayer. 2) The Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ parihs, Klepu already carry out prayers in certain times either personally or communal prayer in St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu. 3) The Catholic Teens of St. Hilarius’ parish, Klepu understand that the benefits of communal prayer are: creating a partnership or relationship with God and friends, as well as the means to develop their personality.
