Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any influence and how much the significance level of the effect of inquiry model on the cognitive learning result of history at class XI IPS3 SMAN 1 Seputih Agung in Academic Year 2014/2015. The method used was Quasi Experimental Design with Time Series Design type. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that there is significant influence and the amount of the effect of a given model of inquiry is 0.42 in which, when entered into the interpretation of the correlations included into the enough significant category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dan seberapa besar taraf signifikansi pengaruh model inquiry terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 3 SMA N 1 Seputih Agung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan tipe Time Series Design. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan danbesarnya pengaruh yang diberikan model inquiry sebesar 0,42 yang jika di masukkan kedalam interpretasi korelasi termasuk kedalam kategori cukup signifikan.Kata kunci: inquiry, kognitif, signifikan
