Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe clearly and comprehensively about the quality of non-cognitive assessment instruments made by elementary school teachers, (2) develop procedures for developing non-cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers, (3) develop non-cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers. To realize this goal, researchers used three structured research designs. The first design is survey research to describe the quality of non-cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers. The instruments studied are survey data, which are illuminated by non-cognitive instruments constructed by the teacher in the Lesson Plan (RPP). Furthermore, from the results of a review of the teacher's non-cognitive assessment instruments, a guidebook on the procedure for developing cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers will be developed. The development of the guidebook uses development procedures (R & D). In the third draft, the researcher and the teacher developed a non-cognitive assessment instrument in the workshop. This workshop is the application of the guidebook that has been prepared. The procedure for preparing instruments uses steps (a) development of instrument specifications, (b) instrument writing, (c) instrument review, (d) instrument assembly (for testing purposes), (e) instrument testing, (f) results analysis trial, (g) instrument selection and assembly, (h) printing instruments, (i) administration of instruments, and (j) preparation of scales and norms. The whole series of studies will produce outputs (a) research reports, financial reports, and logbooks, (b) articles that have been discussed, (c) guidelines for preparing non-cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers that can be used as teaching materials and alternative materials for drafting training assessment instruments, (d) scientific publications in accredited journals, (e) a collection of validated non-cognitive assessment instruments made by teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to produce design, to know the profile and to determine the level of effectiveness of the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) based on Computer-Based Test (CBT) to Test of English For Academic Proficiency (TEAP) IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The development research method is the ADDIE development design model. The research subjects were students of the eighth semester English study program and the lecturers and staff who served at UPT Bahasa of IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Data collection tools used interviews and TEAP user questionnaires then analyzed with the formula from Khabibah. PHP-based CBT profile in the form of a web that can be accessed online and integrated with multiple-choice item analysis. This study found that TEAP requires a system that can automatically be correcting, storing test results, analysing test results and distributing test certificates. The results showed that the effectiveness level of the respondents' opinion of the test participants with a percentage score of 77% in good category and from the opinion of respondents who implement TEAP is very effective and can analyze the level of difficulty, difference power and distractor analysis properly and quickly. This illustrates that PHP-based CBT is suitable for the TEAP program.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the school's efforts to function the role of students parents in the education process at school. Descriptive research methods are used to achieve the research objectives. The study sample was parents and teachers who were purposively determined on the basis of considering the status of school accreditation. The schools selected as samples were Santun Untan Senior High School (accredited B) and Gembala Baik Senior High School (accreditation A). The research data was collected by interview instruments, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistical studies to describe the optimal functioning of parents by schools. From the research data obtained the fact that the perceptions of parents of students and teachers in Santun Untan Senior High School and Gembala Baik Senior High School toward the relationship between parents and teachers  are "good." In playing the functions of parents in school, both parents and teachers state "no difficulties." Aspects that are considered "important" to "very important" in fostering parent and teacher relationships include not giving up children's affairs to schools, assuming parents as school partners, parents controlling children's education, parents always following the development of the school , and care about children's education. With this perception, it is possible to "ideal conditions" in building optimal cooperation in student education in the two sample schools.

Abstract

The goals of this research are to produce an innovative, interactive, and practical Natural Science E-Module of Motion Materials, this learning can be more interesting, fun, and also the students can learn independently. This research using 4-D model (Four D-Models) with 4 steps they are define, design, develop, and disseminate/deploy. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII grade of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Pontianak and SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The data collecting of this research is using interview techniques, questionnaires, and tests. The assessment of E-Module by the experts obtained eligibility = 86,67% with "Excellent" qualification. The assessment of e-module by the design experts obtained = 79,17% with "Good" qualification. This e-module being assessment by media expert obtained = 82,5% with "Excellent" qualification. The student response which one to one class (individual) to the product obtained = 82,22% including the criteria "Very Interesting". Student response which small group class obtained = 90.07% including the criteria "Very Interesting". The effectiveness of the product is seen from the student's learning results using the effect size test. The effectiveness of Natural Science E-Module obtained = 1,748 which the criteria is "Large". This e-module using App Inventor which is very effective to the students to improve student’s learning outcomes.
