Abstract

Enuresis called bedwetting is a problem in pre school children which have overcome, because actually at this period the child shall could to controlling their bladder. Enuresis can also effected the quality of social and psychological of the children moreover the quality of the child growing to adult. Required serious handling until growing problem of this development, one of them is a complementary therapy acupressure. This study purpose to determinate the effect of acupressure therapy to the enuresis frequency of a pre school children. Characteristic of this research is quantitative research with used pre experimental research design with one group pre test – post test design without the control group. The population of this research were 20 children, and the sample were 19 respondents with Purposive Sampling technique that given acupressure therapy 3 times in 1 week with 15 minutes duration per intervention. The analysis method is Paired Sample T- Test. The result of Paired Sample T – Test shown that the enuresis frequency average before given acupressure therapy is 4.36 per week and the enuresis frequency average after given acupressure therapy is 3,10 per week, with the 0,000 significancy ( p < 0,05 ). The value shown that acupressure therapy is effected to the enuresis frequency of a pre school children at the ANNA HUSADA kindergarten, Bangkalan. Parents which have the pre school child with the enuresis problem, should to be resolve enuresis problem at the early time, also can do acupressure therapy exactly and goodly.
The Impact of Combination Therapy Utilizing Citrus limon Aromatherapy and Mozart Classical Music Distraction Therapy to Reduce The Pain Intensity in Post-Sectio Caesarea Mothers Novi Anggraeni; Nurun Nikmah; Selvia Nurul Qomari

Abstract

Background: The pain intensity in sectio caesarea postpartum women remains the most difficult physical and emotional obstacle and also it has a direct impact in slower recovery rate. Different physical and non-physical therapies were implemented to reduce the pain and to speed up the recovery. The objective of this study is to assess the direct impact to the mothers after applying a combination therapy using lemon aromatherapy and Mozart classical music distraction therapy. Method: A total of thirty women aged between 18 and 37 years were included in this study with two sets of treatments. Fifteen corespondents received the treatments of lemon aromatherapy combined with Mozart classical mucis and the other fifteen obtained only deep breathing relaxation therapy (as control group). All treatments were applied for 15 minutes in one day. The level of pain intensity was measured before and after treatments. Result: After two sets of different treatments were applied to thirty of the corespondence women, the pain intensity was measured and analyzed. A Wilcoxon signed-ranked test indicated that the combination of lemon aromatherapy and Mozart classical music was efficient to reduce the pain in the subjects of this study (p<0.05). Additionally, based on the final scoring, the deep breathing exercise was less effective in lowering the pain compared to the combination of lemon aromatherapy and Mozart classical music albeit it differed significantly based on Mann-Whitney U non-parametric analysis (p< 0.05). Conclusion: A significant positive deviations in pain intensity was observed in section-caesarea postpartum women after receiving the combination treatments of lemon aromatherapy and Mozart classical music. Further studies that include prolonged follow-ups observation should be conducted to achieve an improved result

Abstract

One of the disorders of pregnancy that can occur in pregnant women, fetuses and after childbirth is tetanus infection. Tetanus is an acute and sometimes fatal infectious disease caused by neorotoxin (tetanuspasmin) produced from clostridium tetani, whose spores enter the body through wounds. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) worldwide, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) during childbirth, there are 500,000 maternal deaths per year and 10,000,000 neonatal deaths per year. Indonesia has implemented the Development of the Immunization Program (PPI) since 1977 with the aim of including the Elimination of Neonatal Tetanus (ETN) with the aim of reducing the incidence of neonatal tetanus to 1 / 10,000 live births (Ditjen PP & PL, 2012). Based on a survey through interviews with mothers information about pregnant women at the Bangkalan Community Health Center that has been carried out is that there are still many pregnant women at the Bangkalan Community Health Center who do not yet know the importance of TT examination. The method used to carry out community service is by collecting data on the number of pregnant women at the Bangkalan Community Health Center. Then conduct interviews with mothers about the understanding of antenatal care, and TT examination. Then make a time contract with pregnant women. The activity was continued with training for free Pregnancy Check-Up and TT injection held at the Bangkalan Community Health Center. Participants in the activity were 35 pregnant women at the Bangkalan Community Health Center who participated in the training and free TT injection. While participating in the activity, the mother was very enthusiastic about the material presented. She was also able to ask questions related to the material presented. The results of the activity showed that most of the mothers' knowledge was 21 mothers (60%) and the mother's TT immunization status was incomplete, namely 20 mothers (57.1%).

Abstract

The IVA examination is a screening examination of the pap smear because it is usually cheap, practical, very easy to implement and the equipment is simple and can and can be carried out in addition to a gynecologist. The WHO consultation report states that IVA can detect pre-cancerous lesions with a sensitivity of 66-69% and a specificity of 64-98%. Meanwhile, the positive predictive value and negative predictive value were between 10-20% AND 92-97%, respectively. The method used in this activity is to provide counseling to WUS residents of Kokop village who work together with the local Puskesmas. Prior to this activity, permission was obtained from the Puskesmas. In addition to counseling, the activity was carried out in collaboration with the IVA examination by the Kokop village health center. Participants in this activity were attended by WUS in Kokop village with activities carried out, namely counseling on IVA examinations. During the activity, the mother was very enthusiastic about the material presented.
